sorin990 I don't know what group is playing but it's a rendition of some kind of arrangement of La Folia, an ancient dance melody which is said to have originated from the Iberian Peninsula or the Canary Islands. Composers have been arranging it for centuries but the most prominent are the baroque composers Soler, Scarlatti, Vivaldi, Corelli, and Marais.

The piece renders me in a state of ecstasy, particularly 2:00-2:45, especially 2:30-2:45. I must know the ensemble that performed this recording.
