What a beautiful work! I wish you well, people like you who keep alive these wonderful techniques are priceless. My paternal grandfather was a skilled cabinet maker, unfortunately, his workshop closed down before I had a chance to go and learn the craft.

My great grandfather was a carpenter and made furnitures with inlays like this. My mom can recognize his furnitures when she sees one. She say, that carpenters used their own unique patterns. There are several of his pieces on display on a museum here.
