I’m so turned off by men. A guy came up to me telling me how beautiful I was and asked for my name. Yes, he seemed polite but I was not even flattered. I don’t even want a man. It’s me being single and living for the Lord that has brought me peace.
I have given up on men as well. And I ain’t no buss it open type woman. I’m very simple. It’s just too many lies & games dealing with men. I got off that merry go round of dating a long time ago. They are paying off cars, buying stuff, sacrificing emotionally, physically, and financially to just say I have someone or have someone that looks nice. I’ve been to myself for the last four years, and I say this humbly, and even though I get a lot of attention, and men always telling me how I’m gorgeous the treatment from them is just not the best at all. Brother, this is some amazing wisdom for a young dude like me (27). As I get older, I remind myself to be more intentional with the women I date. A big thing I'm personally doing is waiting to have sex until my date and I are in a place where we genuinely like each other enough to want to be together. I've always been in the position where I'd have sex with a date only to realize I don't find her a long-term partner; consequently, she tends to get more attached (oxytocin) after sex and wants to see me more. Then I have to be the bad guy and cut it off, mind you, with her thinking I used her for sex. I will never do it again (unless it's consensual on both ends that we want a hookup) as it alleviates pain for both of us. Long story short, intention and honest communication is vital. Like you, I've played the game heavily, and in the past few years, I've gotten to the point where having sustenance in a romantic partner beats one-night stands.

I had to learn this the hard way. Moving forward I think I'm just going to have to go to the next extreme of doing nothing. Very few men I dated added anything to my life and somehow I'm always the one giving.
After receiving no type of love from who I thought was a special friend, I was led here. The day before he was only concerned if I could get away from my child and elderly mother just to have sex yet as usual.. My standards have always been low due to having daddy issues. Brother, this is some amazing wisdom for a young dude like me (27). As I get older, I remind myself to be more intentional with the women I date. A big thing I'm personally doing is waiting to have sex until my date and I are in a place where we genuinely like each other enough to want to be together. I've always been in the position where I'd have sex with a date only to realize I don't find her a long-term partner; consequently, she tends to get more attached (oxytocin) after sex and wants to see me more. Then I have to be the bad guy and cut it off, mind you, with her thinking I used her for sex. I will never do it again (unless it's consensual on both ends that we want a hookup) as it alleviates pain for both of us. Long story short, intention and honest communication is vital.
Like you, I've played the game heavily, and in the past few years, I've gotten to the point where having sustenance in a romantic partner beats one-night stands.

Im confused at cooking everyday. Typically when i cook, it last 2-3 days. So its basically cooking 2-3 times a week, which isnt alot
It all depends on how many people are in your family? If it's a family of 5 or more people (especially with teen boys), food won't last for 2-3 days

It’s crazy because my oldest son and I was just talking about this, and I agree.
After receiving no type of love from who I thought was a special friend, I was led here. The day before he was only concerned if I could get away from my child and elderly mother just to have sex yet as usual.. My standards have always been low due to having daddy issues. But yesterday, hell even today with the dry texting or no response back, was an eye opener I need to change for real and stop pretending like I have grown from past toxic relationships. I keep trying to find a mate and what I need to do is really find myself and get her somewhat back before it's too late.
