Logitech states there’s a passive radiator on this subwoofer. A passive radiator is an unpowered speaker that has no magnet and the speaker’s air causes the radiator to vibrate and create deeper bass. This is not garbage at all!

Plenty of brands use this method. They are passive Radiators and they might be deceiving but they are really a good invention to increase bass

It's called a passive radiator. It's a cheap way to make up some more bass and it's the same on portable JBL and Sony speakers
