Bison could easily be considered cheap, but if he does a head press, shoryuken him out of the air. If he does a knee press, shoot a fireball or a sonic boom his way, if he does a psycho crusher, guard it or jump over it, and Rugal was literally made to be the most unfair character in the game. Second, most of the game's characters are ripoffs. Joe is a ripoff of Sagat, Ryo and Kyo are ripoffs of Ryu and Ken, Terry's personality is a direct copy of Ken's personality, and I wouldn't be surprised if you didn't know this, but Benimaru is a ripoff of JJBA's Polnareff. Also, Geese's place in the game is a bit unoriginal. Also, "Geese"? They make a supposedly badass yet cheap final boss for Fatal Fury, and they name him after the plural of the word "goose". That's another thing about them, they all have these unusual names, like how it has a female Muay Thai fighter named "King" or a wrestler named "Raiden" that isn't even anywhere near lightning fast or has lightning based powers like the real Raiden from Mortal Kombat, he's just a generic masked wrestler taking on the Japanese word for thunder to stand out like any other wrestler would. Some of the names fit in to emphasize what a character's about just by the way the name sounds when it's said out loud. "Zangief", (which literally translates to "Red Cyclone") and he does have some special attacks that resemble a cyclone, "Balrog" which emphasizes that you're dealing with someone that can only be described as 'tough' (despite the fact that he's basically an adult version of that bully in elementary school that'll beat the crap out of you for your lunch money), "Ryu", which emphasizes that you're fighting a standard all-rounded Japanese man, and so on. To be fair, street Fighter does also have its fair share of stupid names and weird characters, like how Adon was basically made to be the most annoying character fight alongside Vega and M. Bison, or how Guile and Rose are two other JJBA references with Guile being reminiscent of Rudol Von Stroheim, or how Rose is very similar to Lisa Lisa/Elizabeth, coming from the fact that her outfit is similar, she serves as a spiritual guide for the main heroes, and she uses her scarf as a weapon. I'm not trying to say that Street Fighter's character design is completely superior, I'm just saying some things were excecuted a little better than Fatal Fury or King of Fighters, for example, Fatal Fury would've served as a decent beat-em-up game in a similar vain as Final Fight or Double Dragon, or how King of Fighters' cast is mostly Japanese despite the idea of the game's story revolves around the characters trying to literally be the king/queen of all fighters (I don't discriminate), and Street Fighter, despite its diverse cast of characters, revolves around one main character, Ryu, a Shotoukan Karate practitioner who's only goal in life is to be the world warrior because that's what he was raised to be, and some times in the process, ridding the world of true evil or at the very least subduing it (since M. Bison technically isn't able to die and Akuma essentially doesn't allow himself to die). What's more about Ryu is that most of the fighters become friends with him or at the very least become good acquaintances with him, because despite living to be a warrior and Akuma living to be both a warrior and a world killer, Ryu keeps himself good at heart because of his psychological curse called "Satsui-no-Hadou". And I guess that we can both agree that the most recent versions of both games were a bit under-written, making the debate on what the best Street Fighter game or King of Fighters game is, and for me personally, I believe that Ultra SFIV was the best by far because it's the most definitive of what Street Fighter is, as for King of Fighters and Fatal Fury though, I can't really decide

Well the same thing can be said for every other fighting game. But there are cheap characters in fighting games, and then there are just powerful characters. For example, Devil Jin and Jinpachi from Tekken can be considered powerful, whereas Abyss and Night Terror from Soul Calibur are cheap. Shin Akuma is cheap, M. Bison's powerful, and so on

My opinion but Athena’s moves are soo cool! From 98; 2002; XIII Shining Crystal Bit+crystal shoot, Phoenix Fang Arrow, and Psycho Medley 9; 10; 13.The XI Leader move Super Phoenix Infinity is cool too

Or look at ramon, his dm(tiger spinner or something?), its not really flashy, but the shout he does while doing it,kinda pumps me up. Kim lacks such elements

There is no way that's true when you got folks like Zero or Yamazaki running around. A lot of K' moves are based on Bruce Lee.
