The plot is an Origin of the KOF tournament w/ an Amalgam of Fatal Fury 1 & Art of Fighting 1 plots. I like how it's mainstream into 1 big story build up. Thank you, SNK, for respecting the original source materials to make an epic series like this & for FREE too. Much love.

In the Fatal Fury anime, Geese used an ambush to kill Jeff. But in this piece, it was actually a fair fight.

After hearing about The King of Fighters: Awaken I heard about this series and gave it a shot, love the fighting and use of moves so far. Seems focused obviously on Team Japan but also Terry's backstory, hope they go into Art of Fighting 1 & 2 as well.

ritsuka6666 chan they kind of make this animation in a modern setting to suit the needs of the current generation viewers. Also having funny moments in the animation makes it more engaging to the viewers who were new to the franchise. Considering that the character designs does not change much in between all of the main games, this means that the story time gap in the games chronological order is not so long. By the looks of the recent episodes, I guess that they will follow up the events of the Orochi Saga. I kind of hope that they will animate the NESTS saga.

OMG this is amazing!!!! I was just thinking the other night that SNK should do an anime to tell the fulk story of Fatal Fury to KOF. I cannot wait for the other episodes! I hope they can go all the way through the Rugal, Orochi, NESTS and Ancestors Arcs with this new anime series. That will be the most amazing thing ever.

Terry should get all the importance he is the main man for Snk and he deserves all the screen time.

He's not the main character there are 3 main characters iori.kyo and chizuru
Terries not the main character for these episodes but he is my main in game. I've tried playing kyo and the others but you'd be Lucky to get out some of their amazing combo links. Terry doesn't need that. Basically all muscle. That's why I like him.

1. Kyo = Billy/Blue Ranger (because he's quick-thinking, polite, and hides his sense of confidence within the 2nd attribute)
2. Benimaru = Zack/Black Ranger 1 + Adam/Black Ranger 2 (best chums with the main hero)
3. Yuri = Kimberly/Pink Ranger (condescending demeanor towards allies and enemies alike/spunk/sass) -> Never mind that Yuri was wearing yellow for the first half of this series
