K9999 has to be redesigned however since SNK refuse to put him in due part of being an overt Tetsuo reference.

They dont look nice. Its pretty shit. Yeah the KOF 13 sprites are incredible of course. But we need to move to 3D. Imagine this getting Terry-like Smash renders for all of them (just a little more polished) or a style like ArcSystem models. That would be the ultimate KOF visual experience. Oh and fix Kyo and Iori. Their designs are fucking awful.
Everytime I come here, it's always so surreal to see Ryo's MAX Ryuko Ranbu. It's basically Takuma/Mr Karate's version, right down to the signature ending with Haoh Shokou Ken instead of Kyokugen Kohou. Also 8:23 "BRAZILIAN NINJUTSU OUGI" Almost makes as much sense as Spanish Ninjutsu

No its not, guilty gear still use 3d models so its the same as kof, but it does looks like 2d sprites becasue of the cell shading.Cell shading graphics are way easier and cheap to make than semi realistic textures.
KOF is not an anime fighter and it has never been, it has its own style, a style that has been represented in a great way in XIV You kids need to know that pretty crispy shit its not all that important, you know, and the KOF series has ALWAYS been about substance, actual gameplay over pretty looks
