They brought black bear back here in Harlan Ky years ago and we have them in every dumpster in town and they’re not scared of humans at all. Constantly having to be relocated!

I live in Central PA and am cognizant that I am among Bears. I don't want to die by being mauled by Bears. This is for the record and will be true till the Lord calls me home someday. Hopefully He will not call me by a Bear attack.
My husband just shot a black bear here in Idaho. We weren't sure about the taste of the meat but because it was a mountain bear and not eating trash it tasted just like beef or elk. I did save some fat to render as well to bake with 😁

Bear meat is the best meat out there. You have to process and cook it correctly. I've been hunting / guiding hunters for bear for 27 years. Have to get all the fat off the meat while processing the animal before freezing it. If not it will ruin the meat. Cook it with butter, onions, peppers and salt n pepper. Will melt in your mouth.

In northwestern Connecticut black bears eat chickens rabbits squirrels and goats they all been reported by the people in the neighborhood they even attacked the horses there's a lot of black bear over here
black bears in the Southeast aren't like that. I run into them in south Georgia and North Florida all you got to do is yell at them and they'll run away. when you see their s*** it's mostly berries. they're pretty much scavengers. but the black bears in the Northeast and other parts of the country are a lot more aggressive than the ones down south. mostly not very big and they're not very aggressive either you don't want to go up and give one a hug don't get me wrong 🤣
I think there's more to the bear. I live in Georgia right on the Alabama line last exit on i-20. There was a video circulating few months back about a black bear being seen around the area ok no big deal dont see many ive never seen one but then i see another video of a bear citing from Lake Havasu guy said and never even heard of one being there. Now yall have a citing in LA seems a little odd. 🤷♂️
Your right about men not being men like they use to be in the older days and to be honest with you women don't do the best they can and that's coming from a woman but I do leave certain subjects out of it personally because they have no place there. Men talk about wanting to be the man of the house and getting offended àbout things but when given the responsibilities some of them don't want that well you cant just have the best part and not contribute. Now me saying that I'm far from a money hungry woman because I have paid the complete way for them before and without complaint of problem because I allowed it and was happy with the situation but as you get older things have the tendency to change I couldn't continue to do it all without the person I'm with pitching in to help. Simple expectations out of anyone ill cook you clean, I wash clothes yiu help put them up nothing unreasonable at all or out of the reim of possible for anyone

Black bear are omnivorous. They eat rabbits and squirrels, turkeys and poults and fawns. Any kind of chicken or pig in an enclosure.
