Jason !!! NVIDIA drivers and Applications NIGHTMARE !!!!!!!!!!!! Jason, can you save me from this nightmare... I saw other people also post on the NVIDA apps and drivers nighmares which simply WILL NOT UNINSTALL ... I have Rog Strix B450-F Gaming II MB, Ryzen 5600x and NVIDIA RTX2060 GPU ... and I had to abandon my upgrade to Radeon RX6750 XT because the NVIDIA stuff simply will not go away. I updated the BIOS on the MB, tried the Microsoft removal tool etc.. NO LUCK ! There have to be some tools or procedures by savvy techies who can guide us ... I am far from ignorant concerning I.T. and windows 10 and comfortable cleaning up the REGISTRY etc.
agree - I also love Jason's energy and enthusiasm which is a step above most channels. It adds a lot to the overall presentation and engages the viewer.
Another thing with the fresh windows install. If you change the language to English(world) instead of your country, then it won’t install a ton of extra bloat programs that many people don’t use. And the links to install everything is still there so if you’re missing something it’s easy to find/re-install
😏 LOL you are 100% Right, i remembered installing Windows in Spanish for my cousin and the installation is not the same as the standard USA English install, they get a basic streamline install with very few hassles, its not right 😊
@@Dailyrider94 it frees up storage space and depending on your region it may prevent some programs that run in the background to improve your performance but I’m not 100% on that
This content is exactly why, even though I don't watch all the videos, I keep subscribed to your channel. I've learnt so much from you and your videos I can't even begin to explain. I am so very happy I stumbled upon your channel when I did, because if I have the computer I have today, and if I know everything I know today, it is because you exist. Thank you again all the way from Spain. Sincerely.
Thank you so much for this amazing feedback! It really means a ton to me. Mr Bear approves your plan to adopt a black cat! Hello Spain and hope you keep enjoying the content. (:
Hey guys if you have four slots of ram installed on your pc and you want to upgrade your existing GPU, you might encounter an issue that pc starts up and shut down instantly over and over, the solution is simply take out three ram and put only one ram onto slot B1 and see whether it boots up.
I made the same CPU upgrade from a 5600 to 5800X3D. You also have to remember to get an aftermarket CPU cooler as neither the Wraith Stealth or Prism will cut it for a 5700X3D/58000X3D.
The other thing i do whenever i power off the pc to replace a part is once I turn it off i will hit the power button onec more to make sure to drain all the power from it.
That's a great guidr actually! I may add that sometimes your performance issues and hitching may come from faulty solid state drives. And if you have system freezes it can be from faulty RAM.
Thank you for teaching us the this and thats of upgrades and pc build in general! I am pretty stoked, just caught a Ryzen 5700X plus 500gb SSD for $170 on Newegg and an X570 Asus Tuff plus WiFi for 100 bucks new off Amazon warehouse to upgrade from my B350 + Ryzen 3600 a bit!
@@PCBuilderChannel ha - of course - and in all seriousness, Jason - love your channel! Been subbed here a long time. I watch a ton of your content. Expert knowledge coupled with palpable enthusiasm, energy, and charisma - it keeps me engaged, and your excitement passes to me (the viewer) and gets me pumped up, which is awesome. 👍
Thanks for your amazing contents. I've been following your channel for some time now and your videos are great. I recently helped 2 of my friends build a new pc and they were very satisfied with their build. You videos specially the one on ram helped a lot. Thanks again man.
Lots of people have strong opinions about the proper thermal paste technique (; but Hardware Unboxed, Gamers Nexus, Linus etc have all done lots of testing on this and the results always come back that the only way you can really screw it up is to not have enough paste. So don't overly worry about how you put it on just make sure you have enough
jason you make the best videos you literally have a video explaining everything and anything a person could need. Thank you so much for all your hard work I wish you the best and hope your channel keeps growing and growing!
built myself a 5600x/3080 system because of your tips! I had the 3080 laying around so it was just a matter of the rest of the components and I watched your videos over time to make the best decision I could! Thanks!
Hey that's awesome! Glad I could help! Good combo now and you've got a nice upgrade path down the road with a potential 5700X3D drop in in the future (:
When changing the CPU or the CPU cooler, especially on older PCs, the thermal paste can be like glue and its hard to get the cooler off without damaging anything. In that case its helpful to run a CPU stresstest to get the paste warmed up, switch the PC off and start unmounting the cooler shortly after. I dont like the thought of using a blow dryer inside the case xD..Other than that, there is not much to add. Nice vid, happy upgrading!
Woah! What are these steps to uninstall graphics driver? Both nvidia and radeon drivers have clean install options 1 replace gpu 2 perform clean installation of graphics driver
I personally like to adjust cooler screws 1 level tighter than screwing it "softly" with screwdriver or with your hands. I got this from tuning up drums and I tighten them a bit more to make sure is there and is not loose, but not too tight either.
i do it out of the case and i tighten it finger tight then start checking with a good twist and tug, then tighten a bit more, then do a tug test again, cooler manufacturers are not consistent with each other so with some companies you can messup your morhterboard if their screws are kinda sketchy, be careful
@@MrSamadolfo Yeah, great advice. But that's what I do as well, sort of. I tighten them "tight enough" but not too much and try to move it (gently) and see if it gives. If it's solid, it's good to go and doesn't need any more tightening.
Right Jason, see if you can answer my question, nobody has yet...I've just finished my build, I have an Asus Rog Strix B650-a Gaming Wi-fi, with 32gb ram 6000mhz CL30, Ryzen 7 700x, with the Deep Cool Ak620 digital, and a Powercool Hellhound Spectral RX7800xt, I want to mount my GPU vertically inside my Montech King 95 Pro using the Cooler master bracket, but...will there be enough space to mount it vertically with the Ak620 digital?
Will definitely use this for future upgrades. In the middle of getting all the pc parts to build for pc so I'll be sure to check out other videos as well.
As my pc (i5-8400 + 1060 6gb) works perfectly fine with my load of work/games i personally prefer to save some money and get everything brand new all at once

Hey jason...after a year of buying parts here and there I finally built my first pc!!!(and it ran) I have a corsair rm 750e and was wondering if I should use the daisy chained pcie cable or two of the single cables for my gpu 5600x3d Asus tuff gaming plus wifi2 Crucial 2tb name ssd 32gb rip jaws 3200 cl 16 ddr4 Peerless assassin 6750xt red devil Montech sky two corsair rm750e
NO, give preference to the 'single cables' if you have them, the daisy chain is only if you don't have enough singles, preferably if given a choice only use single cables but of course that means more money and a bigger power supply, but you only got a Red Devil 6750XT so thats only TWO 8pin plugs and pretty much all 750's have a single cable for each plug so your Golden my friend 👍
Thank you Jason for the video! I built my current PC when were transitioning from AM4 to AM5 and DDR4 to DDR5. They were expensive back then and no X3D CPU from AMD yet. So, I got R7 5800X3D to pair with the RX7900XTX. Can't wait to see the new Ryzen 7 9800X3D!! I will need to upgrade pretty much half of my system, geez.
I've been upgrading most of my PC parts after having months of black screen crashes. I've tried to search for people who have had the same error and am lost. I've tried build a PC and LTT communities for help and no one has been able to help. I've replaced, cpu, motherboard, RAM. I think its a very rare issue though as there so little help online. PSU upgrade is next. Upgrading from 850W to 1000+ I guess.
Did you download and run MEMTEST86 ??? it takes about 2 to 4 hours? Next did u do a cinebench run of about an hour? next did you do a heaven benchmark and furmark benchmark? next did u try a different video card? next do you have a decent power supply from the PSU TIER LIST? Next take the board out and see if its crashing due to maybe the case shorting it out? Check cpu socket and pins? Check usb ports for shorts? look the board over with a magnifying glass for anything burnt. just some ideas
I have a laptop and a mini PC so I'm looking to build a PC eventually maybe. I was conflicted last night because virtualbox would no longer open on my mini pc

i currently have a radeon 5700 xt and a ryzen 7 3700x with a Asus Prime X-570 pro motherboard with 16 gb ram. I am not sure where my issue stems from but I often have my PC freeze after 30 mins when playing heavier games (gpu util never above 50 % and 55 degrees) and my cpu will often be at 80 % util. What do you recommend for upgrades ? I use my PC mainly for streaming and gaming, games being things like MMOs, subnautica, apex. battlefield, etc. Idk if I should be looking to upgrade my cpu or my gpu or my motherboard. What do you suggest ?
I'd go for a GPU upgrade and a new 16gb RAM kit! The max GPU I'd pair with a 5600 is a 7800XT, so anything around there would give you a huge boost. And yes you should definitely invest in a new 16gb ram kit. And make sure you check your new wattage needs.
Here is my current system. Can I upgrade this or should I build a whole new system? What do you guys suggest? All I use this for is gaming. I could probably hold off till November too for BF stuff. Sorry just saw this. You can just upgrade. You can go 5700X3D on the CPU along with a new GPU. Then, you'll just have to see if a 750W PSU is enough or if you'll have to upgrade that too.
@@michaelmcconnell7302 After retailers add their mark up, the 5090 is going to be very expensive and hard to purchase with all the scalpers. I’d rather go ahead and grab a 4090 and enjoy the holidays watching everyone else try to beat the scalper bots

If you're happy with your performance then what you have is good and no need to upgrade. Just note the logical upgrade path would be a 5700X3D with a higher GPU. Possibly new PSU too but only if timing the wattage in PC Part Picker by 1.5 says you need to.
@@kelley09162 thanks. I mean it’s running the games I want ok to be fair. So I don’t really have much of an issue at the moment. I was looking at upgrading the CPU to the 5700x3d actually and installing a water cooler for now. But I may just wait and see what comes out this year instead
@@Lee-wx8bf since you're happy with current performances you can always wait till the end of the year and see if any great Black Friday/Holiday deals come out.
That’s a good combo! When you are ready to upgrade you can drop in a 5700X3D and as high a GPU as fits your budget. But no reason to upgrade if you’re happy right now
Thanks Jason. I am using exactly the same GPU and CPU right now. 6650xt and ryzen 5600 combo from 2 years ago. (Thanks for your previous recommendation video 😄). It worked super well but I think its time for me to upgrade. I just wondering, why dont you suggest the rx 6800xt since I saw its number 2 on the top 12 1440p games? And if I upgrade the CPU to 5700x3d, which GPU should I choose to get the most of it? For the record, used 6800xt, 6900xt and new 7600xt almost price the same in my country which is around $380-$400. Or, feel free to advise another type of GPU
Hello! Nice combo you got there. If you drop in the 5700X3D you can upgrade your GPU all the way to a 4090 if you wanted to so at that point I'd go for the best that fits your budget. 6800XT is a good choice if you are seeing it at a price you like and don't need the AV1 encoding. (:
You do a great job presenting and you make it as easy as possible. I built a pc in December and already want to make another. This time in an ATX case. 😊

Finally able to build my new system but ran into a strange snag. I am short a 4 pin power connector for CPU. Weird how close you can be to having everything right and still roll a 1.
It doesn't give any performance upgrade, but if you are switching your motherboards, you are still following each step including bios updates and downloading the network drivers from the official mobo website.
sure broh, its always better to be running top tier Z boards and X boards, full size ATX, get the one with all the bells and whistles: Double Digit readout, reset button, power button, wait for a deep sale to pick em up, get urself something nice 😎
It does not boost performance no if its a modern well paired board, but if there's features you are looking for in a new board that can be helpful if you've already upgraded your other components. See our PC Parts Explained 2024 video for more
I bought everything to build my new pc except for the motherboard and fans 2 years ago. Now I have a Ryzen 5600 that’s probably already outdated. I’m seriously torn on what to do now.
you went thru a period of stagnation and complacency? well your in luck because everybody considers the 5600 as a goto budget chip to build right now, so either build with that chip or put it on ebay or craiglist and get rid of it, and then decide if you want to go AM4 or Intel new or Intel old, you got a ton of options
I have 2 monitors 1080p 144hz flat VA, 1440p 165hz flat VA. I am a flat VA boomer so my monitor selection is quite small, but this feels like a good setup right now that i am not thinking about upgrading urgently. I feel like VA is the best for my eyes. I do not like how IPS panels look. They make my eyes and head hurt. I might look at oled some time in the future when it becomes a lot cheaper. Other parts are an old fractal design case. No RGB, my fans are all Noctuas. I play all kinds of games from OSRS to Cyberpunk, so i will need some power to run some new game i might want to play. Like when i upgraded my 1070 to 4070 for Hogwarts Legacy. I think 165hz for CS2 is enough for me. I think even if i upgrade my GPU to an Nvidia 80-series GPU like the 5080, it will still not be an overkill for new games. 1440p 165 fps for new games still requires a lot of gpu power. Nvidia because of power consumption and familiarity. A bit unfortunate tho that i feel like i will need to upgrade my 4070 quite soon already when i last needed to upgrade from the 1070, but it is how it is now. I hope my next upgrade will last longer. I expect my cooler, ssds and case to be enough to be reused in my next pc, because i have deepcleaned my pc and reapplied the thermal paste multiple times so the case and fans are in good enough shape. I am thinking that my options are upgrading my GPU, or then motherboard, processor and ram. I am thinking about skipping am5 if that seems possible. I need to keep my 850 watts power supply in mind aswell. I will keep my eye on things. I think upgrading my GPU would be a good idea first, then take the big upgrade to the generation after am5. Will see how it turns out. Thanks for showing everyone the graphics drivers uninstall :)! Loving the vids !

🙂 i believe Lenovo Legion motherboards don't give you the XMP option, the fastest speed is the rated speed for the boards specs and usually to get that speed you have to use only certain brands of sticks usually the plain green sticks or something that close to factory sticks such as crucial, but ask around cause they have different models and maybe some models are less strict

So if you're just Gaming with it 16GB of RAM is fine. You can upgrade the CPU though. Just note Jason says the 5700X isn't worth the extra money over the 5600.
I’ve been using a Ryzen 5 3600 and a GTX 1650 Super for the past 4 years now. It preforms just fine for me, but I think I’m gonna upgrade just the GPU for some extra frames, and I’m considering the Intel Arc A580 or A750. I know that the A580 wouldn’t really have any noticeable bottleneck with the 3600, but do you think the extra $30 for the A750 is worth it and would it have better performance than the A580 even though it’s paired with a Ryzen 3600?
I would go for the three fan sparkle cards of either, keep in mind you might need a bigger power supply cause they take TWO 8pin plugs where as your current video card sips power
Since the other comments have commented on the card itself, I'll comment on the actual compatability of Arc cards and how they feel to use since I have an A770. I've had very few driver issues with the card (all of them are in blender, none in gaming) so you'll be very happy with the card, especially if you play a lot of mainstream titles (Starfield being an exception). Arc also works great for just the daily normal tasks like browsing and watching videos, never had issues there either. I would definitely recommend an Arc gpu as they are very stable now in my experience.
The A750 with 3600 is a fine combo, the driver on the ARC cards might require some work so if that doesn't appeal to you consider the 6600 as an alternative. See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
I would considering your CPU is 10 years old and I assume that GPU is old too. That being said if you're happy with your performance you don't have to.
sure broh, order a i7-4770 for 30 bucks, and for video card I would need to see your PC, u can upload a video so we can take a look see but yeah a 710 is dismal, minimum basement floor is a Radeon HD / R7 / R9 ddr5 something something
I currently have a prebuilt and will be building a pc very soon but how do I go about the data transfer? I have a licensed windows and GPU drivers, since I bought 2 Nvme's for the new build can I just transfer everything to them (idk how to properly do this lol) and do the GPU driver clean before installing them? I also don't know if I need to reinstall windows on the nvme and uninstall it from the HDD, I plan on still using the drives I currently have (Sata and HDD) mainly for file storage as I do video editing as well but I'd like to transfer games and apps to the nvme's
its best to buy an external 3.5 hard drive, for example a WD BOOK, they are pretty cheap now, you dont have to get a huge one, just figure out how much space you have

5800X is just a tiny bit faster than a Ryzen 5600, which starts to hit a CPU Bottleneck between the 7700 XT & 7800 XT. If you plan to drop in a 5700X3D or 5800X3D at some point in the future, grab the 7900 GRE.
Hello I currently have: i5-12400f B660M Motherboard RTX 3060 12Gb 16Gb 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM 650W PSU 1Tb M2 SSD I'm not sure whether I should just upgrade to i5-13600kf or go for Ryzen 7600X and upgrade my motherboard and RAM as well. (500€ for a bundle vs 270€ for the 13600kf in my country) I have a 240Hz monitor and this build used to run csgo 350+ fps easily but in cs2 cant even reach 240fps for most of the time. Going for the i5 would leave money for a GPU upgrade aswell (4060Ti for example)
Sadly we can't recommend 13th and 14th gen right now due to the degradation issues. So I would recommend jumping over to AM5 if you are looking to upgrade. See our latest CPU Market Update video for more
Honestly system resets cause more issues than they solve (including factory resets). You're better off re-installing windows, or just manually working on the system like most techs do.

Another thing with the fresh windows install. If you change the language to English(world) instead of your country, then it won’t install a ton of extra bloat programs that many people don’t use. And the links to install everything is still there so if you’re missing something it’s easy to find/re-install
😏 LOL you are 100% Right, i remembered installing Windows in Spanish for my cousin and the installation is not the same as the standard USA English install, they get a basic streamline install with very few hassles, its not right 😊
does it increase performance vs a normal install? Doubting to switch to linux as amd is srsly held back by microsoft.
@@Dailyrider94 it frees up storage space and depending on your region it may prevent some programs that run in the background to improve your performance but I’m not 100% on that

Thank you!
The other thing i do whenever i power off the pc to replace a part is once I turn it off i will hit the power button onec more to make sure to drain all the power from it.

I was always taught to use a pea size amount of thermal paste in the center of the cpu and spread it evenly with a credit card
Planning on finally upgrading from my i7 8700K and 1080ti to a 7800X3D and 4070 Ti Super. I’m excited!!

That's what we love to hear, congrats on your build! If you build it, it will run. Hope you keep enjoying the channel :D
Both nvidia and radeon drivers have clean install options
1 replace gpu
2 perform clean installation of graphics driver
download and install DDU, boot into safe mode, run DDU and reboot, now install your driver and reboot, done
I hope prices for storage will come down again soon. Last year we had amazing prices
everything is going up, theres new import tariffs coming soon
That case is kinda small, I advise selling off that case and stepping up to something alot Bigger such as the big NZXT Flow or a clone of it
Will definitely use this for future upgrades. In the middle of getting all the pc parts to build for pc so I'll be sure to check out other videos as well.
Sounds great, that's amazing! Good luck with the rest of all your purchases. Thanks for tuning in!

Congrats on the Build! The cable gauge on that PSU is fine to daisy chain, but my default answer is usually "use two cables". Looks awesome!
Thank you Jason for the video! I built my current PC when were transitioning from AM4 to AM5 and DDR4 to DDR5. They were expensive back then and no X3D CPU from AMD yet. How do I remove my AIO to replace the CPU? Should I use my PC for a few minutes to warm it up?

I bought everything to build my new pc except for the motherboard and fans 2 years ago. Now I have a Ryzen 5600 that’s probably already outdated. I’m seriously torn on what to do now.
The 5600 isn't outdated, but you can upgrade to a 5700X3D if you want assuming your GPU won't bottleneck it.
you went thru a period of stagnation and complacency? well your in luck because everybody considers the 5600 as a goto budget chip to build right now, so either build with that chip or put it on ebay or craiglist and get rid of it, and then decide if you want to go AM4 or Intel new or Intel old, you got a ton of options

Hopefully you can help me i know nothig when it comes to computers, for the upgrade vs nee build part of the video, I have a AMD Ryzen 5 1600 3200 Mhz 6 cores and 22 processor with a ASROCK B450 Pro 4. My GPU is also a NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1070. Do you think its worth to upgrade my build or would tou recommend starting a new build? Thank you for any input.
I can't find the XMP profile in my legion T5 bios, my ram is running at 4400 but can run at 5000? What do I do world of smart people......
@@MrSamadolfo Thank you mate, your a true legend, I'll look into that, thanks you for your time! Flipping lenovo lol

I currently have an Intel I7 6850K running with an EVGA GTX 1080TI FTW Graphic Card and 32GB of Corsair RAM. Looking to upgrade to the Intel 14700K with either 32GB or 64GB of new Corsair RAM with either an RTX 4080 Super GPU or waiting out for the newer RTX 5000 Series cards when released.
Just note 15th Gen is coming out in the Fall but the 14700K is a great CPU if that's what you want.
@@kelley09162 Thank you for the information as I wasn't aware they the Intel 15 Gen was releasing much later in the year. As I am not likely to be able to upgrade until next year I will wait out until I see more info on the 15700 model and 15th Gen compatible Asus motherboards and what the UK pricings for them will be. 😁

I have a 5600x, will upgrading to a 5700x3d be beneficial/considered an upgrade or just a side-grade? playing at 27" 1440p with a 7800xt GPU. Games I play are esports, Monster Hunter, FF7R
I think it would be an upgrade for you
sure, then sell the 5600X or use the 5600X to build a second pc and keep it or flip it
Yes that would be an upgrade and will set you up for huge GPU upgrades in the future when you are ready for that
i went from 2080s to 4080s and forgot about the driver part but lucky they have the same drivers
I have a question. I read stuff where you shouldn't update AMD GOUs as often as Nvidia. Is the true? I have the RX6750XT
That's probably referring to the AMD headroom being better with older CPUs than Nvidia.
@@PCBuilderChannel oh OK
Should i upgrade my rx 6700xt
Depends on the rest of your build! Check out our Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024 video for how to think about that

Yes my current pc sucks! It is a prebuild from Acer, contacted them to ask what is the upgradablity for it and well, its not fun. I can max upgrade to a i7 10700, a 2060 or 2060 super and the ram is stuck at 2666mhz. This is my first ever pc, if I knew a bit when I was first looking, late 2021, I would have gotten something different, something better.

was thinking cpu 5700x3D paired with a 6800 XT? I do live near a microcenter just fyi
That's a good combo assuming you can find a 6800XT at a good price.
@@kelley09162 yeah. hopefully I can find a good price, I still need some money for the new monitor as well lol
@@gustavoruiz3462 just note you could also jump up to AM5 with MicroCenter's 7700X CPU Bundle if you wanted to, though the 5700X3D is a great choice if you don't.
Currently have Ryzen 5 3600x, Crosshair VII Hero x470, 16GB DDR4 3600 and a RTX 2080S not sure if going with more Ram and maybe a Ryzen 7 5700x would benefit with the 2080s? Any advice?
I would go A750 if you can afford it. The 6600 is another good choice.
See our latest GPU Market Update video for more
as always awesome video! your vids really helped me a lot with picking the right PC for me.
That's great to here, glad that worked out! Thanks so much for watching.
My pc has i5 4470 and gt 710 , do I need a upgrade?
I would considering your CPU is 10 years old and I assume that GPU is old too.
That being said if you're happy with your performance you don't have to.
sure broh, order a i7-4770 for 30 bucks, and for video card I would need to see your PC, u can upload a video so we can take a look see but yeah a 710 is dismal, minimum basement floor is a Radeon HD / R7 / R9 ddr5 something something
That's entirely up to you and if you're happy with your current pc!
Hey! Best value build to play in 4k minimum 120 or 144 FPS?
Check out our Best GPU/CPU Combo 2024 video, that might help you decide what you need

Hi there Jason. Great video for step by step upgrading. I would like to upgrade my Rx 6600 8gb to a RTX 3060 12Gb. Is that Optimal or are there any GPU's right now better. Note that my Budget is nearly 400Dollars to upgrade the Gpu.

Hi I need your suggestion. I want to create a Home server that can be used for streaming in home theater via network.
Please suggest me hardwares that are needed. And is it possible to build it using new AMD epyc 4004 series?
I need a second opinion, i plan on learning blender and making 3d models as a hobby and stream for the same reason. Do you think i should go nvidia because of the advantages or try radeon?
If you're using it for that and not Gaming yes Nvidia makes sense
I should've mentioned i also plan to game on it
@@stabbed4665 so what I would recommend depends on your budget and what your primary use case is.
@kelley09162 gaming first, streaming second, and blender third
Budget doesn't really matter, but i would try not to leave 4070 super price, so ~$600
@@stabbed4665 so 600 for the GPU? Also do you already have a PC build or are you building new?
So with that order in mind I would go with the 7900GRE. Nvidia is better for Blender but since that's the least important to you it makes more sense to get the best Gaming CPU for your budget.
The Sapphire Pulse 7900GRE is currently $550 and I've heard good things about Sapphire.
Holy UA-camr.

Hey Jason, 1. Great News: I just Joined your Channel! (Long Overdue, I Know!) 2. My Stupid Question of the Week is: I want to Upgrade my 'Boot Drive' on Gaming PC 1 from a SSD Sata Drive to an m.2 Nvme Drive. Can I re-install Windows & use the 'Same Product Key' I purchased from VIP SCD Key? & How do I 'Recover the Product Key'? Duoh! I forgot to Write It Down!
Hi Michael, thanks for being a member! You should be able to use the same key as it is an OEM key and is hardware locked, but it is possible that changing the boot drive might require a new key (not sure, but I don't think so). You can login to VIP SCDkey and they have all your key purchases there, or use the email they sent you. Hope that helps!
@@PCBuilderChannel Thanks Jason, I still have 'Buyers Remorse' about my RX7600XT GPU! I should've done more Research, would've discovered, that it's not as Good as I'd hoped It would be with an extra 8Gbs of VRAM!!??
Currently have no plans with upgrading my PC except maybe the PSU since when I built the thing, I probably got a trash tier Thermaltake PSU...
PSU is one area I don't mess around! But its fairly easy to switch out as you see in the video (:
Currently have 32gb ram
Ryzen 5 5600
3060
What should I upgrade?
I’m thinking of going to 4070 but I play WoW and everyone says it’s CPU heavy not GPU I have no idea what I should upgrade to for CPU
The 5600 will start to bottleneck the 4070 so I'd recommend dropping in a 5700X3D first.
@@PCBuilderChannel thank you man youre a legend
I'm running a 5800x with a 6700xt, should i upgrade to a 7800xt or a 7900gre? also both my m.2 slots are being used (2 x 2tb), should i get a card for more m.2 storage? I am a bit of a data hoarder. I have a 1000w psu so power is not an issue. I don't want to upgrade the cpu, motherboard and ram yet.
5800X is just a tiny bit faster than a Ryzen 5600, which starts to hit a CPU Bottleneck between the 7700 XT & 7800 XT. If you plan to drop in a 5700X3D or 5800X3D at some point in the future, grab the 7900 GRE.
My 6600k still chugging along!

Good morning!! Thanks for tuning in
Hello I currently have:
i5-12400f
B660M Motherboard
RTX 3060 12Gb
16Gb 3200Mhz DDR4 RAM
650W PSU
1Tb M2 SSD
I'm not sure whether I should just upgrade to i5-13600kf or go for Ryzen 7600X and upgrade my motherboard and RAM as well. (500€ for a bundle vs 270€ for the 13600kf in my country)
I have a 240Hz monitor and this build used to run csgo 350+ fps easily but in cs2 cant even reach 240fps for most of the time.
