- Welcome back everyone! Here is the long awaited episode! The Red Viper vs The Mountain! As I promised- no red pillow action! LOL, I did have one resting on my lap the entire time that matches my shirt... but when I adjusted it, Mom and Kim thought something bad was about to happen ;)
So sad for Oberyn, but entertaining once more watching with my family!

I recently found your reaction videos and since, like so many others, I'm going through GoT withdrawals I started watching. I absolutely love them! I crack up every time your mom says "oh, sick!" :) You guys are really great together and I love the family dynamic.

Oberyn really needed to read the warning label. "DANGER! Stab Mountain and get away!" It sucks to lose such a cool character to the old Bond Villain mistake (ironically, by a potential hero). The Viper's bite needed less slow pain and talking, and more immobilizing (and not just making him fall). Once that was done, he could have taken his time getting Gregor to implicate Tywin.
"Oh no,he´s gonna cut through!" Hehe...WHY would anyone who ever saw a film or read a book think the mountain would defeat or even scratch Oberyn? There´s a reason the story plays out like this....very simple,even lazy writing.

You know what i really hate about this last fight? Oberyn could have easily won if he wasn't standing so damn close by the mountain (who is well known in the entirety of westeros for being the most dangerous man) and if he wouldn't have fooled around.
He would have won, even standing that close, if he hadn't modified the manticore venom so much to make it work that slowly, and had just made sure the concoction would effectively immobilize an opponent of that size.
He's after the confession, which has political ramifications in the books, unfortunately in season 5 the show cut a lot of the plot lines, that one included.
6:22 "I'm not watching that" you have kept your face covered 90% of the time and the one next to you freaks out at the smallest things like a character moving their lips.
