He didnt lie, Oberyn is in multiple seasons. This one and season 5 episode 1 beginning where they show the season 4 recap. So technically Oberyn is in season 5 too 🙂

I love how they caught on that Oberyn had Inigo Monttoya vibes fighting the Mountain. Only problem is Oberyn didn't kill the mountain like Inigo killed Count Rugen.
In the books there is a ton of more Dorne stuff, but it was pretty much all cut. Would be quite an interesting spinoff to finally show tbh, instead of the stuff they are working on now.
Re: Orson Story...I've read theory that Orson is GRRM and we the viewer/reader are the beetles and just when we think we are free...GRRM crushes us with his boot.
I don't know if it was intentional but the way the Mountain cracked Oberyn's head feels weirdly related to the beetle story Tyrion is talking about in his scene with Jamie. Initially it seems so random and out of nowhere. But I believe it's actually a foreshadowing.

The great thing about Game of Thrones is you think there would be a Hound/Mountain moment, but sometimes expectations are subverted. I would have expected an Arya-Joffrey moment after Ned’s beheading, but she never got an opportunity to have the revenge she wanted.
