Subscribed to this amazing underrated Brit! YOU deserve more subs
I just wanted to say how much I’ve been enjoying your Spain vlogs. Your passion for travel and the way you capture the culture is so inspiring - it feels like I’m right there with you!
I’ve been especially curious about the food you’ve been trying. Could you share what you think is the main difference between Spanish cuisine and Central Asian cuisine?
I’d love to hear your perspective on how they compare!
I am really happy you’re enjoying the series! The food is very different.. Spanish cuisine has a lot of things like tapas, paella, fish.. not spicy.. loads of jamon.. central Asian is still not so spicy but more about rice and meat cooked beautifully with simple ingredients such as salt to make the flavours shine.. both are lovely in their own way
@ I really appreciate how softly and genuinely you answer everyone’s questions. It makes a huge difference, and your warmth really comes through. Keep being amazing!

Thanks Carrie & congrats on reaching 100000 subscribers! ☺
Apologies that I've missed quite a few of your vlogs of late, but I'm finally monetised & have been out spending my spare time travelling & editing.
It made a refreshing change that you avoided the likes of Benidorm & showcased somewhere locals would go, as many Brits wouldn't make as bold a choice as you; this is what made it more intriguing with it being a path less travelled!
I loved the drone flight over those "broccoli" trees lol!
I see you weren't too far from Gibraltar, so did you get a chance to pop into Iberia's own bit of Ol' Blighty?!
Have a wonderful November my dear & I look forward to your next video 🤗
It’s lovely to hear from you..‘I hope you’re well. I am now in Pakistan 🇵🇰.. sadly didn’t get to Gibraltar.. that would have been very interesting
@@carriepatsalis You're back in a place you love! If by any chance you happen to visit Bangladesh in the new year, please don't hesitate to let me know as our paths may well cross, which would of course make for some interesting vlogging indeed!

Thank you so much!!
Where are you from❤❤❤
Gorgeous! It suddenly dawns on me the role afternoon siesta plays....it is to live a full life. Almost like a great construction detail.....just insert a wedge of an afternoon nap in between day and night ....and viola ..one has two good parts in one. A beautiful vlog....'white sand dunes'?? such a good looking city.
I agree that this siesta is the way forwards.. would love to incorporate one in my day!
@@carriepatsalis Great. My life needs overhauling though. However...cheers.
The myth of the siesta: working hours do not allow us to take siestas, but this is only discovered when you truly integrate into society and work in Spanish companies.
"Siesta" means Nap and its a myth the foreigners have when they arrive to Spain. Many of them start working for a company in the country wondering "where is their siesta", noticing later that it just doesn't exist.
In Spain only few people can afford taking a nap in the afternoon. Only if you have your own business and you decide freely to do it. Normally this is related to the heat in the south of Spain, because its too much in the afternoon and the local small business are closed. Only malls and big shopping centers with air conditioned are open.
If you work for a company, you have 50 min to one hour to have lunch, thats all the "nap" you have.
Before talking about siesta maybe the people should try to live in the country.
@@antoniolopezlopez4236 Well explained, if you work in offices or stores you can have split work hours, the worst if your house is far away, you can have two hours that you use to go pick up your children from school,Go home, cook, eat, clean up and go back out to take them to school and back to the office. There is no time for a nap. This is the lifestyle, not spending all day eating from bar to bar. That's only for childish tourists who believe that's what Spanish life is all about.
They’re actually trying to get away from american and british tourists 😢
They are.. and I don’t blame them.. the booze fuelled crowds are not wanted anywhere
You come to Dubai
