It's a shame that due to Climate's Unceasing change, sometimes slowly, other times changes almost overnight (in the South-East U.S. we now have a new climate condition that's called a "Flash Drought", look it up), these large Instinctual Apex Predators are almost always destined for extinction, under troublesome climatic conditions they find food sources becoming less available, not intelligent enough to seek other sources they go down. I for one am very glad these are no longer around, there's more than enough dangerous Critters, at least around here, to keep us on our Toes
