Thank you for the best review on UA-cam. Very detailed and concise with the final conclusion whom is the product addressed to. I watched many videos only to find yours as the most useful. Keep on the good work.
Why do reviewers insist on using ugly and unpractical charts? You could have put the red idle bar INSIDE the yellow bar and it would have cleaned it up nicely. Second, why isn't the noise bar on the same page as the temps bar? the two should never really be separated.
It trades performance for silence, but I have to wonder if you can't achieve that by tweaking the fan curve on a cheaper cooler. Look great. Currently it's more expensive than the Dark Rock 4 @ mindfactory, dunno if it's supposed to be like that or what.
Hi. I've read that it could be to small for a i5 11600K and Be Quiet suggest to avoid the Dark Rock 4. So, the only choice would be the Pro version at a much higher price. What do you think about that? It's enough for my 11600k? Thanks
Hmmm considering this vs Hyper 212 black edition. Although this is super quiet, its only a couple decibels quieter than the 212, and costs £30 more. Not worth it? Edit: typo
Hey! Nice review. I have one question. have a Pure Rock 2. It works great. Is it worth returning it and getting the Dark Rock Slim? I have 5 weeks to return it just about from this day forward.
How can you get a second fan for push pull? This silent wings 3 doesn't look like the one you can buy from retail, so would the fanclamps fit on the retail version? Edit: Just saw that the mounting fins are further back on the back side of the cooler, the retail 25mm thick version should fit fine therefore 😄
Didn't like Dark rock pro 4 didn't fit well in asus xi apex mobo plus the fan clips are horrible and black paint scratches so easily i exchanged with the Noctua NH-U12A very happy
Yes, the silent wings 3 come with two different mounting options. One of them is a standart mount. You just need to use the longer screws which are included with the enermax aio.
Same. 280mm for about 9 years. AIO is cool looking but it's not as durable as air cooling cuz of the pump & liquid. And the radiator is a filthy dust nest which is a pain to clean. I'll go back to air cooling on my new setup. Simpler, better.
1. pump noise fucking sucks 2. AIO at 280mm isnt better cooling than air, its been proven 3. AIO is just too pricey for worse performance. its just a cleaner aesthetic.
Those CPU Fan brackets are the worst kind ever they hardly stay in the holes and it takes way to much force to place them safley in the cpu cooler itself. HORRIBLE
With a title like that you're just begging Noctua to send you some of their coolers xD Must be nice getting so much free stuff you don't know what to do with it. You'd never have an issue upgrading your system again.
Or you believing the marketing crap of companies ? Or, simply following the lemmings ? I have in my system a cooler that outperforms the 100 US Dollar Noctua NH-U12A, is as silent as the Dark Rock 4 Pro with an ease of installation 2nd to none and is only 60 USD.
Well, the D15's main advantage is the quietness. And you will notice the 6:52 temps are for stock 4.0GHz, as soon as the clock goes up the 212 falls _way_ behind.
Mopantsu Except this cooler will probably be 10c cooler under load. Also, at your price range, why on earth would you choose the 212 over the Cryorig H7?

yeah i agree, i watched this then bought one! Thanks for saving me hours wading through forums.

Really enjoyed this video man, gonna be using this for my first build!
Thanks for the review. To me, idle temps are not important at all. I noticed that it performs similarly to some 240mm AIOs. That's great
youre an idiot if you think that
Jason Huffman It does lmfao,go check reviews before putting a comment also clue word “some” it may popular brands or a small company.
@@therandomjohn463 He literally wrote this comment under a review. You sound offended.
Don’t read the comments please. Just sad sad people here. Mom never told them the golden rule. Solid video man!

Been using this, perfect combination of minimum weight/height and performance/noise, and the price is really good.
Never had a problem with noisy coolers anyway unless you're using a bog standard Intel cpu cooler.

*So this or Noctua NH-U12S **chromax.black** ?*
What do u think?
will this be fine with an i5 12600k?

Those Silent Wing 3’s are fine, fine fans. This looks like a really useful cooler.
I bougt it yesterday for my old i5 3450 (lga 1155)
I think that it would be perfect for my cpu

54c max running prime for 30 mins at 50% fan speed. Ryzen 5 2600.
Would the dark pro slim be better than the wraith prism for the Ryzen 7 3700/3800?
Of course slick
will it keep the i7 9700k cool?
yes

did u end up returning it?
Is better for overclocking my r5 3600 or should I go for the rock4
thank you - whad do u think this cooler good for OC ryzen 2700x ?
Have you bought it? And if you bought it, is it good enough? I'm planning to use this for replacing the stock cooler of Ryzen 5 3600.

its legit the same as the cooler master 212 rgb black except 20$ more
Which is better this or cooler master hyper 212 black edition?
demon6937 This.
@@GregoryCunningham I see do you have a link for that? just want to see as I don't own both coolers.

That's the new cooler right?
Well done!!
Can I replace the three fans that came with the Enermax Liqtech II AiO with three of theese BeQuiet! slim fans?
Yes, the silent wings 3 come with two different mounting options. One of them is a standart mount. You just need to use the longer screws which are included with the enermax aio.
Do u think that would be enough cooling for a Intel Core i7-10700K
Unless your trying to oc alot, its more than enough.
Is it good for over clocking?
Uhh why do you not only have 3 intros and even in the Videos, there is ad in it? UA-cam gives you the option to give ad so use it!
Bought a Dark Rock Pro 4 off Amazon for £61 :)
Bought a Gelid Solutions Phantom Black for only 40 Euro, dual tower cooler with a 200 Watt TDP.
Does it fit on lga 1200 socket
yes - all lga 115x coolers also fit lga 1200
I've used a 280mm AIO water cooling for the past 4 years, I don't think I'd ever go back to air cooling.
Quite the oposite here, I'm going back to air next month
Same Here going from AIO to Air, Pump noise i didnt Like it

So the 212 Black it is then
Sito No, Cryorig H7. Better in every way and just as cheap.
Those CPU Fan brackets are the worst kind ever they hardly stay in the holes and it takes way to much force to place them safley in the cpu cooler itself.
HORRIBLE
Good stuff
Sticking with Noctua.
demos113 They are just too ugly for me.
you should do some sound proofing in your room
Is Silas the "New Man" for KitGuru ?
Mbark! 😀
Problem ? The insane price, given the immediate competition

Scythe coolers with the 300-1200 RPM Kaze fan(s) are pretty dang quiet as well.
rigged review, cm 212 beating noctua d15??? hahahahaha what a joke! 0 chance of that happening!
