  • A scan of the demonstration site's agricultural area from the Southwest corner. The lines of stones you see are the down-hill boundaries for the swales we will dig.

What is the area of this entire site?

Such a wasted opportunity. Many a cheap raspberrypi3b since february 2016 (some years after this video) could have been dotted about that hillside each with 3 playstation3 cameras installed so as to have a constant panoramic view stereoscopically captured and converted into a 3D-Model over the mesh network wifi/bluettoth/InfraRed communications. Each day the data could be compiled from multiple (cron-job) photos taken each second, and then uploaded whenever a person was in range, carrying their own pi3b (sort of like a retropie), and, in kind, updates get applied. Don't even need internet on the site. Battery and solar-powered, it'd would not have cost much _(and probably could have been blagged for free)._

You know what, you should write a white paper about that proposal, including all setup stages (hardware and software) including cost estimates and send it to them so they can estimate whether it could fit in their budget.
A budgetable/actionable plan is more useful than a comment on UA-cam.

@@nekononiaow What you said would be music to my ears, in theory. However, the stuffy academia of white-papers is an approach which never escapes its bubble because the outside world simply does not work like that. I'd do all that and nobody would listen. I like your comment but it simply would not work. If people respond on social-media or down the pub, then you know an idea is more likely to take-off. The majority of deals done in Soho London for example are done in pubs (historically) which is why so many are alcoholics (and they do good business). It is partly down to human nature and people are more likely to hire people they are already familiar with _(as per the interactions on social media)._ That's family acumen.
Using only the "antennae" built-in (with no adaptor), more than a 200 metre range per raspberry-pi3b (or 3bplus) can be achieved (without network packets being discarded) off battery-power (like a retropie, although in this case a car-battery-sized old style nickel battery would do better). A 2mile long "road" network-link can be made from 8 of pi3b boards (802.11n and 802.11ac, or even some 802.11g).
The quadcore has 4 FPU and so could easily run blake2b for IPFS as a DHT. It could even just use the spare cpu power to do that while each core is already using half its processing power for video encoding and compression and blender3D (or equivalent) tracking of video so as to create a 3D mesh (used not only for a 3D model but to track other pi3bplus boards).
Budget would either be a few hundred dollars or cheaper if some arts get blagged for free. Maybe totally free. A mod to the pi3b allows HDD booting on the usb so an HDD can run swap space and that can be a swap partition or fat32 swapfile.
