Cork Midsummer Festival is proud to open the Festival with this thrilling and inspiring evening of music and dance.
In Rian, Irish for "imprint" or "trace", acclaimed choreographer Michael Keegan-Dolan and leading musician Liam Ó Maonlaí embark on 
a journey to celebrates the tension and harmony 
between traditional music and contemporary dance, with a united company of extraordinary musicians and dancers.

I went to the SWT to see this twice. Although unfortunately, one of the female dancers was ill and a part of the formations seemed to be changed, I really enjoyed this fabulous dance.
