- While I am unable to produced restoration videos weekly, I have made progress all the same. My restoration is built into my life and while I dearly love my minis, they are not quite the top priority in my family routine. Lately I have been cleaning parts and checking in on my engine block which is at the machine shop. In addition to cleaning parts, there was the ‘Texas All British Car Days’ where a few beautiful minis and their owners showed up.. not quite the Mini meets I’ve seen take place in the UK, but it’s always good to see and meet other proud owners. Lone Star Mini…
Your welcome with the parts and glad you like them, love how my old spot lamp has cleaned up, want it back lol, only kidding. Glad Dave sorted you with the correct steering wheel, very nice of him.
Will install that spot lamp with pride!! Thanks again Paul
Randy, It‘s very satisfying when you see the results of rusty parts come out of the blasting cabinet, I‘m happy i could help in a small way towards some parts for your mini pick up. Cheers Dave
I will most like begin to clean up the steering wheel tomorrow…. Excited about that… thank you again
It's really good to see you doing such a good job on it. Keep up the good work 👍😁
Cleaning parts is actually therapeutic… thanks!!
Great update Randy. They parts really came out well after blasting
Thanks Sean…. I did spend time to get every spec of rust…
Good to see you looking well Randy! You’ve been busy! Merry Christmas!
Thanks Andy!! I am working on the
Mini… just not filming every detail.. merry Christmas to you and family as well!!!
Nice work with the blasting mate. Glad the bracket worked out well for you 👍
Yep… thanks again Alex….
I am happy to have found you here! I have just bought my first mk1 850, and I am really excited to get plugged in with the Texas mini community. Already have my first hurdle, my little guy has no brakes and a full reservoir, and according to the previous owner, its full of DOT 5.
Hey now Anthony…. In what way are your brakes not working?? Put the pedal down and no brakes or you can’t push the pedal down? My email and number here in Waco is Randy @lonestarmini.com and 254.717.7497
@@LoneStarMini sent up an Email randy ;) pedal goes down with little to no effort and returns to up position. Car just doesn’t stop at all. No hydraulic feeling. Wanting to get it done in time for my 30 day safety inspection
Those parts look great. I've moved the shells....and started putting up pallet racking which will organize the parts hoard. I had thought to start with the little parts over the winter. (I can't break away from my day job just yet). I'll post more videos!
tHanks for all your tips and ideas! Happy Minigiving
Thanks.. I enjoy cleaning parts.. it's kind've therapeutic... Organizing is certainly helpful as well... Yep.. Happy Thanksgiving..
@@LoneStarMini I just uploaded...almost done with the heavy stuff......"Almost".
Almost only counts in Horse Shoes, Hand Grenades, & Manure Fights.....and now moving Mini pieces too!
