The first time I played factorio I couldn't go to sleep that night because all I could think of was how to do things more efficiently and how to automate this and why I should automate that. I got 6 hours of sleep that day because I had to get myself to stop thinking about factorio when I lay in bed. 2 sleeping tablets and Ludwig video's got my mind to stop being excited about factorio. I now force myself to get off factorio at least 3 hours before sleep.
The best part is when you open your inventory with a bunch of stuff that you don't remember having in an attempt to make more things that you don't remember wanting to make
AA: “I want to play this as efficiently as possible” Also AA: *Places the boiler 16 spaces south of the coal.* Me: I too consider spaghetti “efficient”.
As an engineer this game is dangerous because I'll start playing at like noon on a day off and the next time I look up because I just realized I'm hungry it's dark out. Then I'll eat something and continue playing and then I'll look up again and think to myself, "Is that the sun?!?!" This game is a massive time sink that I basically lost a week of my life to without even realizing it.
I feel like the most time critical thing to research first was the submachine gun because the pistol is already next to useless against the first wave of biters
maybe its me being bad at this game, but i never stop using wodden electric poles. ill even build a wodden electric pole factory and later will feed wood to it with robots.
You're not imposing capitalism on anything. Capitalism is the production and selling of goods. What you have is a system with zero money at all, closer to a fully nationalized system. You're imposing _industrialism_ on the planet, not capitalism.
Isnt the back story of factorio having the player land on a new world to strip or resources for the nationalized industry, wouldn't that make it socialist initializing? You know because the whole industry is nationalized.
@@UsurperUrsus Right, and there is no profit here. Nothing is being bought or sold, it's entirely industry being put to work towards a specific goal. It's a one-man command economy, not a capitalistic one.
"You're trying to impose capitalism." As much as AA talks about philosophy, I would think he could understand the difference between capitalism and industrialism. Look at the Soviet Union, mines and factories everywhere, did that make them capitalists?

A factorio series would be nice
I like your content to follow you from Jordan
Trees remove pollution till they die.
"The Great Watery Swirl"
Good stuff
No 'Hello', day ruined.

i find wood poles infuriating. The bigger coverage and connection range of the metal poles is invaluable in compressing builds.
Why ever use wooden poles once you have steel? They're literally obsolete
You should do it however you like to motorb1tch. If you're having fun, fuck em
Aww yiss another AA vid. Been helping me through hard times ngl 👊
Satisfactory should be a good series in the main channel
factorio series???????
Will you still be trying rimworld challenges or do you think you might not play it agian or atleast for a while?
I need more of this from AA :c
using trees as the first fuel or just one coal to get the first iron plate and make a second burning miner is the way to start this is crinche...

Exactly! capitalism!
It's about the perception of money. If you can dream it you can think it. 🤔
