Pika please do more of these in-depth guides. For me as a beginner its very confusing on what to actually do in what situation. Of course its all very dependent on the specific situations but maybe as a general guide when to fear, what to stormbolt, who to go on, when to do so etc. Would be great!
Facts, there’s so many times I see the player do the same stuff as me and he is like this is so bad, never do this
There is literally no way to give this kind of advice and have it be good. You’re asking him to be a chess engine for you in a game that is thousands of times more complex than chess lmfao.
Like what do you want him to say? “Use defensive cool downs on their go” “use your offensive cool downs on your go” “don’t stand in the open” this is kind of advice you need. Not “when the pally is at xx% hp and the rogue is at x,y coordinate you need to stormbolt”.

And chess is way more complicated not only do you have to calculate your own moves, you have to calculate the moves of your opponent.
In WoW its just basic awareness of positioning, cds of opponent, cds of team, your classes role and win conditions.

You’re not just talking about a rogue main streamer , Pika is a multi r1 / AWC competitor/ ETC. It is the mindset that makes the difference here . Someone who has been glad and playing at a high level since MoP . At some point you will learn every class and what they do / to watch for .

Its like our brothers or sisters, they are so much ahead of our generations, with phones, PCs etc. But back in the days he actually was one of the top tier PvP and PvE players. He knew everything. 80% gamers, that are still playing TODAY, they learned everything from swifty. How to move, act, play, bind, how to climb, boss mech. etc.
Its stupid to say that he had luck, he had no luck. He had everything he needed at the time. He was so ahead. He knew exactly what to do and how to do it in order to become successful. I dont watch his content personally but i do support the OG.

I wish I could climb rating. I’m a disabled vet that can only play with my right hand and a multi-key mouse. Highest I ever got was 2k. I got 2.4k in RBG’s on my Warr target calling at least lol

The 1 shot rotation is legit, Warbreaker before spear is the move. I was doing stormbolt- spear - warbreaker- avatar- bladestorm, but the warbreaker before spear is way more damage than I thought.
especially with the off-global bladestorm. it protects from disarm/kidney etc.
Ngl big tip that helped reduce visual clutter and help em focus better is turn off all damage and healing numbers it may be satisfying to see but it's not needed.
Also how to be a better dps in PvP, play healer for a month and when you go back to dps you'll never not press a defensive ever as youll understand the struggle
Love it bro, my 1 shot is doin 530k consistently on the pvp target dummy and -12 damage total on both the enemies stunned in my spear with their healer feared preciate the content
Great video pika. IMO this is exactly what ppl whant to learn. Obviously, you can't explain or guide every situation, but once we get the idea ( yeah, sometimes a lot of things that is obvious for u rank 1, are not so obvious for us) a new whole game opens for us.

I wish every freaking warrior watch this. They don't let me sap, don't let me stun, continue diminish. And all of this on 2200. Its not high for solo queue, but I dont want to push, I just want to stay relaxed when I earn my weekly chest.
Watching someone struggle so much against a ring of peace makes me so happy to be a death knight, deaths advance and grip is so nice.
What really is crazy that even with so many mistakes in just 30sec the warrior still pressures a lot. If he would play any caster like that he would be legit useless
Yo, I don't personally watch many streamers... Think most of them are cringe and not worth my valuable time. But Pika and Xar are different just down to earth cool dudes. Masters of the game obviously.. But what i love is the do this type of content. The gameplay breakdown is imo what really makes people better. The fine detail. I really appreciate this type of content pika hope you continue it!

Why the mage was able to blink out of the spear at 34:00 is because he was charge rooted which makes the pull in from spear not work since shimmer doesn't break roots

@@corbinwitz9073 Yeah it's pretty bad if the Mages are able to blink out of the spear when they are charge rooted. Both because they can continue kiting you but also because you can't stand in the spear yourself, which gives 25% crit damage from the talent Elysian Might. Of course if you don't root them just before your spear then they can't get out of it with Shimmer, but then they can still move around freely just before you throw your spear and you might miss.

Vanity aside, just for context this is like over a 1000cr below where I play and I don’t play any of these classes and it’s STILL an absolute blast to watch these videos. Not even for the funny moments, but your insight is still useful even at the highest levels. I couldn’t get enough of these videos. I wish more people did these for all specs out there. For instance I don’t see you making a boomy one but, that would be sweet :P

Why does Wreckingthrow not do anything against the Priest shield 02:35 ? Can somebody explain?
Before watching this I couldn't understand how people were unironically sub 1k rating. This showed me how and also reminded me that mentally challenged and physically handicapped people play this game. No flame ofc I also play like this sometimes.

His stance probably dropped because he was changing talents or specs before the queue. Warrior will do that if you are messing around with templates. So check young warriors :D
To be fair. Best an average player will get is 1k rating off this method. Period. Its all on RNG and if your team mates can CC. Most folks get 4/6 guaranteed lost rounds. Also at the start. Its not possible to have double haste talent while running this build. You'd have to sac one of the Spear talents only way possible.
I'm 30 minutes into the video and I've paused it to try on my warrior. I'm genuinely low rated (1100) because I'm pretty crap at the game but I've just played two solos going 5/6 and 6/6 back to back. The burst is real! However there was a bit in the video where you say if you're not versing anyone with a bubble take it from shattering throw and put a second point in Wild Strikes, but you have to spend that point in the rows above unfortunately.
Ok but how do they prevent Arms from doing this in organised 3v3? How come this isn't as prevalent as Assassination Rogue in AWC? There's got to be a way to make this too hard to do from the opponent's side too, right?

How do you use intervene in shuffle? I had to use character names on the macro since I don't even know how long ago because blizz messed up the party frames so they're like random every game and I can't rely on that. But then I knew who I was playing with, do I just have to write the names every shuffle game? or is there a better macro for that? that's the only reason I rarely use it because I need to target my guy manually and there's just not many times in which I can do that on time.
Just make an @player macro man
Sort group by party and use party1/party2 macros, or use the addon dynamic Macros

No. If you change specs as example you end up in no stance. Also if you are in D stance as an example and you press D stance again you end up in no stance.
No offence, but if people can get to 1600 rating in SS while playing like this, as melee. It makes me want to lvl my warrior for the easy climb. Currently 1800 on my Spriest. And man, that isn't as fun.
I've had so many more one shots in my games because of this. Learn more classes so you can do more of these videos.

this video just proves how hard is to heal a solo shuffle... you play with DPSes that are clueless, and if they die, they flame you.
I been doing shuffle and world pvp for months now since the pve is boring these days. I deff am better but man when in in a group of good pvpers, I panic play. Out in the world I can kill a 1v5 of ppl that are just playing in warmode
