The problem Rob has is that he takes history from every other non-Islamic source as true and then builds his house on those foundations. So if he finds a historical reference to a certain piece of information, as long as it has pre-dated an Islamic or even Christian claim, he automatically accepts it with no mechanism to define it's authenticity. Rob has no established method of verifying any information nor does he take into account that God (Allah) can reveal information later which contradicts history, so ultimately he will never arrive at any truth as he'll only look at existing and found data.

Yes, he believes in the mistakes in other scriptures, so when he reads the correction in the Quran, he doesn't believe it.
If you look at Rob when Brother Muhammad was speaking, you can clearly see he was not listening attentively to everything Muhammad was saying, which is why he was responding in such haphazardly manners. Due to him not listening attentively, he didn’t pick up that Muhammad refuted the whole foundation of his argument. A STORY OF CULTURAL ADOPTION
Our article is about the resemblences of the Legends of Jewish Prophet Moses from the book Exodus and inscriptions about The Great Sargon, the legendary Akkadian King.
Sargon of Akkad (Sargon the Great) who reigned between 2334 to 2279 BCE was the founder of the Akkadian Empire. While he was clearly a brilliant military leader, he told a story about his youth which makes him exterd a powerful influence over the Sumerians he sought to conquer. He tried to represent himself as a man chosen by the gods to rule, he had a humbler image of himself as an orphan. According to the cuneiform inscription known as The Legend of Sargon which is accepted as his biography, he was born the illegitimate son of a "changeling", which could refer to a temple priestess of the goddess Inanna and never knew his father. His mother could not reveal her pregnancy or keep the child, and so she placed him in a basket which she then let go on the Euphrates River. She had sealed the basket with tar, and the water carried him safely to where he was later found by a man named Akki who was a gardener for Ur-Zababa, the king of the Sumerian city of Kish. Creating this legend, Sargon seemed distanced from the kings of the past and he aligned with the common people of the region rather than the ruling elite.

Rob has been shown up in several live streams with Muslims. Imran at EF Dawah. He was also on the Muslim Cowboy stream and said he doesn't believe in miracles and that the Resurrection of Jesus was a natural and not a supernatural event.

A Muslim helper told him that the Hadith describes as he drowned the angel Gabriel put sand in his mouth to stop him from saying something that would grant him mercy from God. He also told him that though Moses 's Pharaoh drowned, the Quran says God saved his body, which was not written anywhere earlier. This was the reason Maurice Bucaille became Muslim. He was a personal friend of my father in law and revealed that he was more keen on people reading his book The bible the Quran and Science than knowing he was Muslim. He also revealed that Jack Cousteau was Muslim.

I don’t understand how this Rob guy thinks that not having other historical sources claiming that the Pharaoh of Moses drowned is evidence that it is untrue. There are countless civilizations, details, facts etc… that History did not know or could not confirm for years and then eventually came to know through archaeological discoveries or breakthroughs in technology or decoding previously unknown languages etc… , Indus Valley Civilization , Gobekli Tepe, Easter Island civilization, Heraclion/Thonis, Hasankeyf, Caral… & I could go on and on and on. Does Rob think that all archaeological/historical discoveries are finished and that there is nothing else left to discover?

The Quran is a guidance for humans. This means any reference to historical events is in the context of relevance for how people should live. Which pharaoh is irrelevant because it's the lesson that is important. The Quran is not a historical encyclopedia. If there is inconsistencies of historical accounts between the books Muslims neither acknowledge or deny the accounts because it cannot be corroborated

It doesn't mean when it is not historically proven it is not true, it is simply because historian hasn't found yet.
The Qur'an is Al-Furqan - It is the criteria over all previous scriptures. The fact that people (through apocrypha or not) wrote about specific events or passed down those events orally - in relation to prophets etc - is not surprising at all. The prophets were sent to people openly. People passed down these events generation to generation, some of which were preserved, others not. Some stories ended up here, others there. The fact that some misguided christians in the compilation of the bible came together to decide what they believe is true or not means NOTHING to us. The bible is not the criteria for what is true from what is contained within apocrypha or any other source - the Qur'an is. The Qur'an is and will always be the ultimate criteria for truth of all events pertaining to history - regardless if its apocrypha, bible or anything else. The bible is not and will never be an authority for any muslim. It is a book containing clear falsehood pertaining to God and His prophets.
