Which Torah is he talking about. Is he talking about the one they use are the one that found to be in Ethiopia, are the one in the Qumran caves because those seem to pretty much stay true its core. He admitted that there's more evidence that the Quran is the word of God and that there's more evidence that it is preserved. He then admitted that the Bible is corrupted, so why would he quote a text that he himself knows that it could contain corruption and use it against the Quran? If he believed that the Bible is preserved, then his arguments would make more sense.

We have a 19 year old Buddhist boy who perform ablutions prays in congregation with us in Islamic center , and then at the same time does not believe Allah exists and believe in reincarnation. His salat is rejected, it's impermissible for the Muslims to allow him to join them in the salat. The Muslims in charge of the masjid who know this are sinful for going along with it, this is what a scholar said in response to such cases.
I ask Allah to forgive our shortcomings and to guide this individual and all those lost souls before it's too late.
Lots of people take the shahadah these days because it's advantageous. They make money from the Muslims mainly. They get financial support from the community, from opening channels on UA-cam "My reversion story" they get attention no one else gave them before etc. Most are sincere but a few aren't like this man.
Another thing we need to consider when giving dawah is to just share the message, answer the questions but when you sense this person isn't ready don't tell them to take their shahadah now because if they're not quite there yet this will backfire.
I ask Allah to grant Sheikh Uthman and all the daiees the best of this world and the very best of the aakhira for their efforts in sharing the message. If the person wants to make that commitment because they are ready they will tell you they want to take their shahadah otherwise leave it alone. If guidance is written for them it will happen.
I hate seeing people online saying I'm an ex Muslim when they supposedly took their shahadah on camera got on UA-cam got some fame now they come back to speak against the Deen of Allah, oh I was under pressure who is this good.
I always say to such people after sharing the message, answering questions think about it. This is not a club you can join then change your mind and leave it. We aren't a club, we don't need your membership, we don't benefit from you coming to Islam neither do we suffer when you leave Islam. The only one that benefits is you and the only one that suffers after walking away from the truth if not in this life than certainty in the aakhira.

I remember watching his reversion with Shaykh Uthman last year. Instead of him to focus on learning about Islam which is very vast, he is spending his time delving into scriptures which he himself acknowledges are corrupted but he seems to believe in them more, which is unusual for someone who has truly accepted Islam just recently. Which is strange, because if you accept that Tawrat & Injeel are corrupted and you havent found direct evidence that Quran was corrupted, there is no reason to use corrupt scripture to confirm uncorrupted one.
I guess he's questioning how plausible it is that the scripture would be corrupted to such an extent, because its not a necessary claim that all corruption was intentional. Some information could have been lost to time & thats why the islamic position is logical, because we dont believe those scriptures were ever meant to be preserved in the first place.

Allah (SWT) does not need His creation. We were created to worship and glorify Him. Creation, though, have needs and are dependent on Allah to fulfill our needs. Allah does not need His creation in any way because nothing we can do can better or benefit His already perfect state. He is self-sufficient.
Basically, its a reminder also to us born Muslims, that there is no gurantee Allah will bless us to follow his deen, and this is a priviledge that can be taken away anytime, based on how serious we are when practicing Islam.

I did see him also asking questions to Sheik Uthman and even take shahada (which i believe he was insincere) before I seen this stream and he was asking all kinds of questions and said he's interested in the mystic sides of Judaism and Islam. I had to bombastic side eye this guy many times through both interactions. I just came from Christianity to Islam and am trying to gain as much knowledge as I can so I watch alot of content. I am a revert to Islam from Christianity as well and always trying to gain knowledge everyday with content like you! One thing I’ve realized is that being sincere and humble on this journey are the keys to success when learning about Islam. Keep Tawheed at the forefront and don’t go into extremes that the majority don’t practice like this Tanner person does to go astray. May Allah (SWT) guide us all 💯🙏🏾

This also shows the importance of not rushing one's shahada just for the sake of the utterance of the words without it being settled in the heart. There is no compulsion in the religion, including pressure. May Allah protect our brothers who are calling to His religion and purify their intentions. Amin.

I watched his episode with Sheikh Othman at that time: "I remember something Sheikh Othman told him: he was impressed with his knowledge and sincerity; skeikh othman had a goosebumps during the conversation" because this guy was full of trust fulfillment to take His Shahada.

Wow I remember watching this guy with sheik Othman I believe. I’m a revert too. Alhamdulillah but this is so sad to think someone accepted Islam and then left it only means 1) Isn’t well read or learned 2) Allah guides whom he wills and it is not the eyes that are blind but the hearts.
