Hair braiding…interlocking…twists…locs …corn rows takes a great deal of focus…patience..and talent. I would imagine that loc technicians have the ability to go into a “spiritual zone” that most of us haven’t experienced….yet. Well done, divas! Well done indeed.
Totally agree about not having an ugly stage, I'm 2 years in and when I look back at my pictures, I miss the earlier stages sometimes. Embracing every stage is so important, because you won't be able to go back unless you literally start over!
I like the headwrap look with your locs. It looks so simplistic and pretty. Have you done a headwrap hairstyles video? I only know how to do the low bun headwrap style, but I'm looking to do other styles.
beside that beautiful personality of yours these videos are the reason why i subscribed. your content is an added treat to any day. please continue to shine your bright light to the world, your needed and appreciated. keep up the great work sis. xoxo
The pure love and support that you're sharing is so awesome....my son asked me to loc my hair with him and now I'm officially ready....my daughter started in July...keep smiling...I promise we're smiling back at you😁😁😁
Thank you for these vids, its been such an emotional hair journey for me. Its the first time actually looking after my hair instead of shaving and stuffing it under a wig. I’ve done my own micro locs so its not as neat but I cant stop looking at my super short and cute twists.
just started my loc journey. Glad to have found you. You're a positive inspiration. May God continue to overwhelm you with blessings so you may continue to be a blessing to others
I love love love your energy. I am grateful for people like you. Seriously, I always feel positive energy coming from you. Love the humor. Also love the head wrap. I interlocked my mom’s, my man, and my own hair. Me and my man have long hair and we did traditional size parts so the shrinkage is real. But it still took a long time cause I did the 4 point rotation root to tip.
I love this Keke! I just hit 3 years into my third traditional loc journey. This go round l wanted them to be smaller since my hair is softer and finer texture and l love them. They're fuller now.
I’m so glad I found your channel! I’m from the UK & You inspired me to start mine, I started on the 3rd November 2022. Currently interlocking ☺️ CANNOT WAIT FOR THE PROCESS! 😍
I just got my microlocs installed 2 months ago using two strand twists. It was a 14 hour process that my loctician completed in one day. I just had my first retighten 3 weeks ago and that took 6 hours. I’ve yet to count the number of locs I have but I know I wouldn’t even attempt to retighten them myself! Getting microlocs is one of the best decisions I’ve made with regards to my hair! I’m looking forward to my journey!
6 years into braidlocs. Started with about 3 inches, but stuck with it. Absolutely love this hair. Never doin nothin else with it. Only thing I hate is the retightening. Lord have mercy...takes me every minute of all day.
Video watch and been doing so for the past couple hours. In that time a couple of your videos have played and one thing that I can say is you are so positive in your reactions. Absolutely no hate even when you're not fond of something ❤️ subbed just of that. It's a plus with the hair and the fact that you are a beauty to look at
I’m watching this 5mos after u put this up, girl thank you for doing this. I took my locks out and I’m flip flopping between sister or micro’s locs. I was screaming when I saw the ✂️✂️ then I got my composure back and thought that was a close one thank God she didn’t cut them but I just like to say thank you once again keep doing these videos they’re helping me decide which way to go sister locks or micro till next time.
Not gone hold you, when she became encapsulated in that woman's beat face and describbbeeeeddd it, I need that energy from my wife. I neeedddss that type of awh shock moment. At LEAST once.
Greetings Keke!!❤ 1st THANKYOU so Much for Sharing this Valuable information regarding Reties. I’m a woman of a certain age (65) and have had my Sis Locs (approx 400) since 2014! I’ve been watching retie vids for awhile and I feel I’m ready to do my own🙏🏾. The question I have is how do you retie the back of your hair so perfectly!! We/I need vids on that process. Sorry if I missed that vid and you’ve covered that previously. If you would be so kind as to respond or link the vid for the back retie process and what is needed mirrors, etc. that would be great. Again ThankYou for your graciousness in Sharing regarding all things reties‼️♥️
You can't deal with the beauty, you say. You must not be looking in the mirror then because, young lass, YOU are absolutely STUNNING! ...your outer beauty as well as your inner beauty. You GLOW from within! DEAL with it! The TRUTH that those of us who have seen your image in this video for merely A SECOND have seen the NATURAL BEAUTY that you are. And with that lovely personality of yours, I'd claim you as my niece anytime, Sunshine. Much love to you from San Francisco, The City by the bay. XOX!
I thought about getting microlocs but I’m not sure I love how they look when they’ve matured. I may just go the traditional loc method with smaller size locs.
I really want to join the Microloc Squad🥰! I'm looking for a professional to give me some feedback on how they will look with my hair being thinner and a softer texture than the fuller parts of the rest of my hair. But either way- I will continue to live my best loc journey thru all my gorgeously loc'd family💜💜!
You are beautiful, love your videos, I'm a week into my loc journey. The back is very nappy/curly but is loc-ing great, but the front of my hair is so straight, it's going too take God knows how long for it too loc. But it's o.k.
What she is using is an upholstery plastic needle. They have two different sizes I found them for at Walmart it's what I used to interlock my hair for the last 4 years.
I have natural curly hair. When water would get near my hair. My hair would become a nightmare for my mom. So during the Summers while on the swimming team. My mom would put my hair and protective braids. No one in my Italian family had hair like mine. Of course my grandfather being German not even close. It was hidden in our family that my grandmother was 100% Arabic is relate from Morocco. My grandmother and I in the sun turn a different color than my Italian family. My grandmother survives the internment camps. When she came to America she was forbidden to ever have son kiss her skin. It wasn't until the 80s that she finally allowed the sun to kiss her skin. All those years. Her and I become the color of mahogany. 2 years before her death she finally sent in her genetics to see who she was. Most of the time people get in a single sheet of paper telling them who they are. My grandmother got a packet. And some very official letters. Stamped by those that are official within Morocco. It made me cry. My own grandfather called me the n-word and wouldn't hold me on his lap until I was 5 and demanded that he stopped that. I'm his family he should love me you should be ashamed of himself retreating his granddaughter like he was. I've dealt with racism from my own family, from acquaintances teachers and more. I hope everyone realizes we're all human. We all bleed red we all pee yellow. We all have mothers and fathers cousins and uncles brothers sisters grandpaps and grandmothers great-grandparents. For those of you that feel so divided. Do you not hunger? Do you not thirst? I myself grew up extremely poor. Divided in a family never knowing who I was until 2 years before my grandmother's death was just 3 years ago. I waited my whole life to find out who I was. And on the way what a heck of a journey. Many Battle scars in my heart. But I don't hold any anger towards anyone. Because We are who We are by our experiences. But if you step outside if you're self and stand in each other's shoes. You will find that we're quite the same. Peace and love. I hope your day is bring you Joy and your evenings bring you comfort.
Mz Clementine, I'm glad you made it through, sometimes blood family can be the worst your story sounds interesting although painful for you, I guess I'm weird I like hearing about others upbringing. We're all different yet the same. Stay safe and Blessed 💕🙏🏾
I want to start micro locs but I have some heat damage. I’m trying to get rid of the heat damage before I start my locs. Does anyone know anyone who does micro locs in PA?

Mimicking getting hit while wearing a bullethole top 🤦🏾♀️ 😂
Hey I was watching some of your older videos. I saw that you have done interlocking and retwist. Which do you prefer now?
I definitely prefer interlocking because of how long it lasts for me
I am almost at a month. I am so happy. I just let my beautiful hair be. ❤
The I sound like a broke asthma pump comment took me out 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I'm ready for part 3 😁
This really makes me want my hair redone. 8 months in. Mine aren't small enough.
Great video. Thank you so much. 👍👍👍👍
My hair was interlocked almost 3 weeks ago 278. It was 2 days but like 13 hours.
That edge taker is the truth sis.

This was fun!
What locing method you use on your hair?
Wow this video makes me want to micro lock
Can u start micro locs on tapered fro ? Any videos or people whose done it?
I've been thinking about locing my hair for the past 15 years
Yes! I'm enjoying every stage of my loc journey, I'm loving my medium 300+ locs🥰
Some of those locs in video are too small girl😬
I’m so glad to hear that! ❤️
Some are really small, but they’re so gorgeous
I want to loc my hair, but I am afraid I will miss being able, to style it when it is down. I also just made myself a u-part wig the other day.
You can still style it!!
@@LocsSoFine I twisted it but if it looks too scalpy because it is thin 3C hair I will take it down.

She’s using a plastic yarn needle. It’s easier if you modify it by making it shorter. For the comb just remove the teeth from a regular plastic comb.
Love it, thnx
15:54 the sass 😂😂
How much are microlocs price wise?
I just want to say that you are a stunning girl! Keep up sharing the love!

i dont think its a type of com. you just break the teeth out of it. I do it as well. break two or three and it leaves the opening for parting and etc.
No, it’s definitely a particular kind of comb. My sister is a cosmetologist and I’ve seen it👍🏿
It's ok Keke, we just tryna see. Mute that ish.... respectfully 😝✌🏾😘
