I'm getting closer and closer to getting these before the year is out
Yesss and when I tell you, you're going to love it!
Do it! Lol
So am I! I currently have mini twists in my natural hair and planned on retwisting them every week or two for a few months so I can finally decide if I'll let them loc.
Have you found any buds? I’m 2 months in and I found a bud, I was scared that something got stuck in my hair but I watched budding videos and saw that it was a bud.
Getting mine done also
the beauty and vibe is unmatched💕
Thank you so much!
“She would fight back sometimes”💀 girl, my hair got hands okay?! 😅😂😂
Rigghttt! LOL
I had my micro locs established in November and though I am no where near where you are with yours, I absolutely adore my starter locs (twists). I like not having to think about my hair.
Love this series! You also inspired me to go on my microloc journey. I’m almost 3 weeks in on my starter locs and I’m loving the ease so far 🙌🏽
That means a ton! I’m so excited for your journey! ❤️❤️
I think the awkward stage is more for people who aren't fully confident with the transition their hair is taking. They don't feel as beautiful. I feel you wouldn't have an awkward phase if you are confident or have more love for self. I love your locs they are awesome to see. Definitely inspiration
How does your fiancé feel about your locs? When I had my locs my ex loved them, most men complimented me on them. Your hair is absolutely breathtaking.
He loves them! He doesn't really care what I do with my hair lol which is awesome because I used to change it so much. He told me that he wouldn't care if I shaved it off bald, he supports whatever I do with it!
The whole time you are talking I’m like wow your locs just look so good 😊
Thank you Keke for sharing all the information on your microlocs. You are definitely my loc inspo if or when I decide to loc my hair💜
Thank you so much! That means a lot! and that you so much for watching!
So I think u just solidified my choice; I want to microloc my hair!!! U have such a relaxing voice I luvvv ittttt
I have traditional size locs but I still enjoy your channel 😌! I plan to start my daughter’s locs for her birthday and use the 2pt rotation to maintain. Lots of great information here😀! Thanks for sharing ❤️!
Thank you so much! I know they are going to be so beautiful!
@@KekeJ You’re welcome ☺️! And thank you also❤️!
Ke, can you PRETTY PLEASE make a video explaining your parting process and when you should do your first wash, conditioning and retie, please momma🙏🏾🙏🏾
i think she has, if you havent already, check through her videos where she does her interlocking, she talks about how she parts and stuff
@@tejadahanson1200 trust me I went thru it all. She doesn't show or tell how she accomplished her parting😭😭
Twists have been my love since I went natural years ago!!! They will be my choice to microloc 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 If I don't like them I will be cutting my hair clean off!!!
I know you have to not have loc envy but sis your locs are inspiring! Thank you for sharing your journey 🙌🏾😍
First to link and commentttt
❤️❤️❤️
Yh my hair is 4a/4b and when I was trying locs for the first time they were pulling out a lot. I also definitely recommend the test locs because I loved my traditional locs but the size was off so to avoid the restart I had to do
I'm just here to cry and listen!! We started locs at the same time and I cut mine off because my hair was damaged before starting my locs and I want to be completely natural (no color or damage)!!! I completely shaved my head and it has grown back fast. I will MOST definitely install them again as soon as I'm able to successfully braid and twist. Yes, you are my hair motivation and crush. #crispypartsonly
You are my inspo for starting my locs!!! This is the size I want, but I want to add hair to them…
KeKe 👋🏽 #TeamLeo ♌ 🦁!!!!! Loving my mane. I am 8 months microloc'd and loving it ❤ 💖 I have relaxed ends and love the difference in how they look from others. I did have 5 inches of natural hair. We all have our own journey. Peace Love and Light 💫⭐🌟
Yes my fellow Leo!! I'm so glad that you're enjoying your journey! I bet it's so beautiful! Like real butterfly locs :)
Your locs are absolutely beautiful!!!!
My behind can’t wait to watch. I’m getting my locs I just love yours to death. It so gorgeous and luscious. My hair is thin so it won’t be as voluminous as yours but I know my coil will be close to your look so I’m getting them as soon as I can trust someone to put them in. Lol.
They will thicken up over time! I have a spot in my hair that's less dense than the rest and I can't even tell after being locd for a year.
I have fine low-density locs and they're getting thicker for sure. Glad you're getting you're hair loc'd.
@@LocsSoFine I saw a lot of ladies saying that like over time they got thicker. Which is awesome
@@monicabranch7011 Yes they do, I'm 6 months in and mine are WAYYY thicker. I actually dedicated my youtube channel to people like me with fine hair and locs. Mine have gotten a lot thicker but slow to actually loc.
Thank you so much! Your locs will thicken up as they mature, no matter the thickness of your hair!
I’m still trying to find a local shop to start my locs. I can’t wait!
Can you please do a pro and con video on retwist vs retie?
Would you ever start someone elses microlocs? Like i love to do my own hair and prefer to do it bc of previous experiences but i just feel like i would mess up my parting and i like my parts crispy too 😂 i think i could trust my head in your hands tho lol cause i want mine exactlyyyyy like yours and i can see how much love you put into your hair. Soo if you ever decide to do someone elses hair Im here 💀
I love your loc. I wished I had the patience to get them myself. I have always wanted locs.
This is definitely something to think about!
You're starting to tempt me to loc my own hair 👀
Oooooo! This may be your sign!
Ok sis I'm getting these this Sunday Jan 9th 2022 I need to know all the products you use so I can amazon them bad boys.
Hey KeKe! Love you! Do you ever do makeup tutorials? If not, can you give us one pleaseeeeee?
Hey! I do have a couple on my channel, but I can start doing them more frequently!
You're so darn beautiful, a living doll😍
Thank you so much!
Girl I hear you, I tried to retwist my hair and then twist the locs so that the retwist would last. I sprayed my roots every day to help the hair loc up. It STILL didn’t work. Going right back to interlocking 😂
That was me! Lol I said nope, retighten it is!
you're cool. we here to stay
Did you interlock immediately while you did your starter twists, or, did you wait to interlock?
I interlocked two weeks after installing them, just to make sure the parting was how I wanted them to be
@@KekeJ okay. Thanks. I’ve started mine, inspired by you!
@@Highflyer10 that means a ton! I'm so excited for your journey!
Can you make a video about different styles you can do with your locs? I can’t find a lot of videos of people styling their microlocs.
I sure can do that!
Tipping point!
Hello I want to get sisterlocks however I wanted to start with extensions and I wanted to know can I start my sisterlocks with braids ? And when it's time to retighten could I then use the four point interlock?
And am doing my hair myself.
Thanks I look forward to your reply.
Do you like to retighten before you wash or is it best to wash then retighten?
It was suggested to me years ago to lock my hair, but I didn’t. I’m considering it now, I don’t comb my hair, I keep it in braids, no added hair. The density of my hair looks like I’m going bald in twist outs. I’m nervous about locking it.
Look at youtubers with fine or low density hair there’s so many out there. Good luck
If you were to get locs, your hair would definitely thicken up over time. I agree with Dione to check out a couple of videos here on UA-cam for people with similar density to yours. I would also consult with a loctician before starting as well.
How many locs do you have?
*like😅
how many Locs do you have?
If you did cut your locs off would u keep them because people say u can have them reattached in the future if they are in a good condition instead of starting all over
I would probably keep them for the memory of Lionel, but I don't think I would reattach them. If I restarted, I would try traditional locs since I didn't commit to those in the past.
How many locs do u have please
Could you fit a wig comfortably over these or would it just be too bulky?
Some of the wigs I've had in the past create bulkiness because the wig cap is too small. But with a wig cap with the correct size fits great
They are the perfect size for you 🙂
Where are you from?
I'll be 6 months loc'd at the end of the month. I don't have as much shrinkage anymore, and my hair is flourishing! 🥺 I'm not gonna lie at first I didn't know if I would keep them but I began to trust the process, and now I'm happy that I didn't take them out! I don't think I will take them out anytime soon now, It took me a minute to have the confidence to rock them, but now I'm in love with them ❤️✨
I'm so glad you didn't take them out and that you're loving them! It's always scary at first, but I'm glad you didn't take them out!
