- It was time to give Ms. Lionel some good TLC! It's been while since I've thoroughly moisturized her and she has been on the dry side. I do water her every single day but sometimes stretch out using oil. I only use oil and water! Other days I use my locking moisturizer by Lion Locs.

I love your locs! I'm currently researching all I can find about microlocs before I decide if I'll commit, but every new video of yours makes me lean further & further toward locking.. I'm about to do some mini twists to see if that satisfies the itch for now..

You made me do it.lool. I'm loving it. I'm 3 and half months loc'd and I was scared to moisturise my locs cos I was worried it will unravel my hair even more but I'm going to do it. My only regret is not being precise with my grid. But I love my locs

I'm late, but for summer consider using gel deodorant, like Dry Idea and it won't leave white spots in the creases. You can rub it into the skin and not lose the effect of dry, odorless skin
Instead of plain water, try As I Am Jamaican Black Castor Oil Water ....super lite and hella moisturizing.

I did not do my research before i got my locs i just asked my mom to do them lol... so i have regular locs but had i known about sister locs i mightve done this instead... they look so good, like your curls are eternally defined.. maybe i couldve had the functionality of locs but the look of my fro... i am not mad tho, love my natural head

At what point does your lion cream come in?because I use water,leave in cream(mix it to be light,so light so it can go in my locs) and seal it in with my oil of choice...my hair stays moisturised longer that way.
How often do you retwist your locs?
I retie every 4-5 weeks

Since you spray your hair daily, how do you not have puffy roots? My roots puff up 2 days after I retie my micro locs and I'm almost 1year locked :-(
They’re usually not really puffy until about 1-2 weeks after my retie. I don’t really mind it tho

Hi, my scalp gets really itchy when I put products on it especially when mixed with sweat. However if I don't put anything it gets dry and itchy? What oils do you suggest? ,I have microlocs too💓

I’m sure it can! I haven’t tried it just yet but I’ve heard good things about using rose water as a moisturizer
Doesn't the oil affect your locing process? Been so scared to use anything that looks like an oil due to that 😅

I always have trouble believing it only takes oil and water to moisturize. I feel like it's almost too easy. Like there's another step or something that I'm missing lol. I've been locked for just over a year.
Same! Lol I do use the locking moisturizer in between my oil sessions
