Its so bizarre to hear the direction this band has taken. I think for me its hard to view this as “Kasabian” without Tom but there’s definitely some great tracks on here and overall I like it more than Alchemists Euphoria. Biggest gripe with the current incarnation is watching concert videos of Serge attempt to sing their classics live….and he just doesn’t have the tone or power in his voice to carry most of those songs. But hey, he’s still writing some super catchy and interestingly written tunes and if he wants to brand it as “Kasabian” so be it. Probably will pick this up on vinyl soon.

i genuinly think their new stuff is great. Also the energy he brings to live performances is insane like it feels more energetic than when tom was there. It’s defiantly different but it’s not worse or better

I think that the 2014 set at Glasto was peak Kasabian; even, crying out loud with Tom wasen't the best, it wasn't too great. I didn't like A Euthoria, but I do feel that if Kasabian is going in this direction, some bangers can be used well in the live sets.

Damn, I thought I responded to this!! Totally agree about the direction of the band and missing Tom on some of those older tunes.

It came out in late May but try reviewing the recent Lemon Twigs album A dream is all we know.

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ll try to get back to a few other things as well.
