I think this is my favorite album of 2024. I really needed the uplifting vibes and emotional depth included in this album. I think my favorite part is the last two tracks, "Chasing Low Vibrations" followed by "A Diamond to Be Born". It's an incredible way to end the album. I'm a huge fan of Tame Impala, Portugal. The Man, and Glass Animals, so this is right up my alley. Would love a collab between Foster the People and Tame Impala...that would be badass.
7:01 do you know The clash and their song Guns of Brixton? Mark said one of the inspiration for the album was The clash (that I loveeee) and them hearing The holy Shangri-la I can't stop to hear that the bass line it's similar, I think they got the inspiration from this song! One of my favourites of The clash and The holy Shangri-la it's my favourite of this album for now ❤️ I love this inspiration and I wanted to know if anyone hears it too or am I crazy? Haha

It’s a great record. Thank you for all of your thoughts. Love your energy and musical taste.
Decent review!! I like the album, they’ll struggle to ever come close to Torches for me but it’s good! Feed me & Glitchzig are my faves 🔥
Thank you! Torches is a classic. I think they’ll always suffer from “Blue Album” disease but I’ll always take the fresh tunes.
Sean contributed to at least three or four songs to the album playing guitar and synthesizer.
He played on most of it. My bad if I failed to mention that. Thank you for pointing it out.
Incredible album and great review
Thank you. It sure is a fun record.

London Calling is my favorite album of all time. I love that you mentioned it because I hear it too!
@@thebeatsessions8294So I'm not crazy... haha
Just had a listen after your review . Defo a enjoyable album
Great to hear from you! Glad you enjoyed. It’s pretty solid.
I’m pleasantly surprised by this album considering they’ve been gone for so long. Torches is truly a classic album in my eyes
Torches is a pretty legendary record. I think this record demonstrates they’re still making music that is worth the time.
