Yeah its help full alot to train our eyes the best DOP course i ever found on UA-cam but you upload your video too late please can you upload them more frequently
This was extremely helpful, maybe even better then solely do your own lightening setups because we get to see a contrast in approach and refinement. Question about the course, how much of your course consist of your existing UA-cam videos? I’m hesitant to purchase the course if the content is the exact videos from your channel. Even if it is, does the course consist of more content? Thanks for your reply.
I love the video and the fact that you make it as practical as possible, thanks for the time that you put in shooting these and also the compilation is great
@@ANDBERY what’s the main difference between both cameras?? I mean why did you move to red , i own two bmpcc 4k,6k I can’t find any reason to move from bmpcc to red , i have seen many reviews n videos they say image quality wise they are equal but I don’t trust them now , there must be a reason tht you moved to red , so tell me is thr anything big in red
@@durrabkhalil3249 I don't like rolling shutter and unnatural skin tone on the BMPCC. Red has quite natural skin tone and global shutter, I like to have this opportunity on the art projects.
Work of student number 1 was excellent. I'm sorry to say your remake version is very UA-cam style. To much haze, to much blur in a scene that didn't need it also lighting on the subject face to having to much shadow giving it a darker horror feel rather then inviting and natural. When I first saw the thumbnail I thought the student was yours. This is the classic case where less is more in my opinion.
Cool, thanks for your opinion. This is interesting. Yes, this is just my interpretation of cinematic. I'm proud of the works of my students. I'm showing you just a way, how to make your image more filmic, or commercial etc.
Maestro Andbery! Its good to have you again, and now with more budget friendly gears, like the bmpcc and godox :D Of course your RED, and Arri HMI videos are great too, but I belive for most of us, its a more achievable to learn the capacities of these props, so Im glad you using these again :) Btw in the future, will you only review those "homeworks" who are the paying students of your course, or do you mean that any of your followers who send you their "homework" have a chance to be reviewed and recreated?
Magnificent. What i learned here is that. 1. We place our objects and props in a room/space. 2. We block all light and darken the room completely. 3. Then we start to add light gradually to create that chiaroscuro effect. 4. We add a little bit of haze. 5. We check all in the monitor if get are getting a good composition/framing/light&shade. 6. We start to shoot. Did i learned the lesson well?
Good work by the students 👏 It's amazing how you see what can be improved and remake it with the corrections. When I saw the students work I did feel something was off and I tried to figure it out before you made the remake, but wow, it's incredible how a scene can change!
Hi my friend. Unfortunately, I have only English voice and text in the course. But, some students use the text of the course for independent translation. I can send all text on request.
Thats nice. Its also interesting that in around 8:30 you mentioned that light from windows is a key light. I thought key light should be in front of talent. How could you explain that?
It depends on definition of key light. When I'm saying about key, I mean major light source in the scene, which light on the character (and maybe a scene a little). The key word is main light, not side light.

I'm glad my video was used as an example! Thanks for your feedback. I will study hard!
Hey my friend! You are good, please keep making it more, I love your work! ❤
This is one of the best, most helpful UA-cam channels out there. Really appreciate the videos because I know how much effort goes into them!
Incase you have not heard it enough. Thank you for your discussion.
This is a great format for teaching. We learn better by comparative analysis. Fantastic work, bravo.
Wow, this is really helpful feedback for my, as a teacher.

Are you still using bmpcc ? N what liquid you use in smoke machine
For low budget tutorial videos, I use bmpcc 6K pro. Actually, for art projects, I use Red Komodo.
This haze has light consistence, not heavy.

I love your lighting advice. You've made incredible improvements in these two scenes-except I think you've added a little too much haze.
lovee your work! simply the best channel on youtube about lightning. You have a new student!

Are you saying "volume?" Great video but I keep hearing something like Woloom and I'm not sure if its meant to be volume or something else

I think on the second example was still to much haze

Brilliant approach. Love to see more works with these not so much expensive lights. A volume lighting technique with 300D would be very helpful.
Love you man. Every single video you publish. I'd love someday shoot something in Europe with you as DP. Hope you're doing well.

It depends on definition of key light. When I'm saying about key, I mean major light source in the scene, which light on the character (and maybe a scene a little). The key word is main light, not side light.
The official term for that is Reverse Keylight
