@chubbyurma when i think of a gym-machines and free weights come to mind tbh

For me honestly that $144 gym was heaven rather than the $10 grand one

Worth it
They should add a babysitter/cresh too (I'm not a parent but would love it for the future).
i want a gf a car and house too....
Im wondering if its worth it for like the everyday man. It comes to about $834/mo and with a nutritionist, dr, psych, and trainer it seems like it almost break even maybe a little more... I wonder how often you could visit the doctors though...
@@AVIPANDIT594 😂😂🤣🤣🤣
The La Palestra Owner is a fantastic example of what an outstanding fitness professional is. He understands the importance of all aspects of health and their connection with movement. I love it. The price is crazy sounding but hey you have a team of highly qualified medical professionals at your beck and call! It doesn't get any more personal than that.
Completely ageee
Agree!!! It's holistic fitness!! Can't get any better than that!
Nah I need a personal trainer 24/7 if I pay that much. Teach me how to eat, work right, sleep, how to speak. All of it lol
I suppose that its geared to rich people and athlethes that want to improve themselves
Aaaaaand a crack addict just shots you in the head
Honestly that eco friendly gym was so neat
Victoria Jackson *yeah especially for $40 I definitely think your getting our moneys worth.*

that's the whole point of gyms
I want to quit the gym!
i like the idea of green energy in the gym but i cant get rid of the feeling that you pay the gym to workout there to lower their electric bill :D
It's not that much energy you're helping with anyways. Running on a treadmill can light up a TV and that's about it
@@jakethunderbird8735 A TV takes a lot of energy though.
lol they should have some sort of a system where they reward members who generate more power, even if it's just small gifts.
And what if you are? it´s not like they´re taking something away from you, in fact, they are actually giving you something back.
@@jakethunderbird8735 but when its multiple people running.. it can help alot in a month
okay but 40$ FOR THAT GYM IS AN AMAZING DEAL like a pay 43$ a month for a gym that isn't like that AT ALL
Sophia Greens go to the ymca
And pizza and I'm done
Planet Fitness is like $20 hahaha
Thought the same. Their $40 gym looked more like a $75/month gym where I'm at. If nice gym like that were that cheap here it would make going easier.
I pay 10, and its essentially the same thing. Its usually 20 but I get a discount for being an athlete in the high school.
so, 40$ gym, pretty neat, nice installations, you have everything you need and more actually, pretty good deal. The next one is basically a social club to hang out more than exercising honestly. The 10,000$ gym, man, with all the medical guidance it feels like you're choosing a lifestyle instead of a gym, they will monitor everything and show you, how much time would you spend there? Seriously. I mean it's really good for people that really want to improve, but for 40$ a month, and you can feel even better because you're actually being more eco friendly, I would choose that gym anytime.
Being healthy is a lifestyle. Not one couple month thing.
The "eco-friendly" aspect of the gym is actually a genius idea. You pay less for electricity, and your gym will be more famous and have more customers because people are idiots, they like to think that their actions affect anything.
@@dogs4life217 Yup people have no idea how electric power works. They have no idea how inefficient our bodies are in converting chemical energy to electric energy.
Bolkohir they don’t even have a squat rack
If you have the money and are retired then La Palestra wouldn't be a bad decision to keep you healthy.
Damn the last gym it's like a doctors visit and a therapist visit with counceing and a diet plan with a background check and a 12 weeks goal into it for 10,000

I would love to combine all 3 into one amazing gym. I love that the first gym was eco conscious, I love the atmosphere, Art Deco aesthetic, and features of LAAC, but I liked the marriage of fitness and medicine at La Palestra. At the end of the day, fitness and health are what you put into it.
THat last gym, man. It’s ridiculously expensive, but it’s one of the few times I can say that the most expensive option is legitimately worth it. If I could afford the price, I’d totally go there
If you can't though, you can't. So it doesn't help a lot of people, only those already advantaged, thus is useless.
And thus you should do with the one you can, instead of doing nothing, either.
mike4ty4 nobody is going to work for cheap
$833 a month for gym is nothing for people in Manhattan, tons of them pay way more in personal trainer options at local chain gyms

Honestly the price of the last gym seems sensible considering how many people you go through with a masters degree(minimum) and licenses. A lot of gym’s/ trainers I’ve seen say a bunch of BS, but the last one is actually correct in how they train you AND they realize it’s a mental/self-worth game not actually losing any weight or problem areas
It's cheap for California.
Ruon even more cheap then
True that. I mean in Australia a lot of gym trainers charge 60-80 dollars for 30-45 mins session. You do that twice a week and you're looking at 120+ dollars which is way more than 10,000 a year. For what you get in the 10000/yr gym membership is like a gym that cares whether you do well or not and with all the people you see before you start training you probably wouldn't need a PT afterwards. So in essence you're actually saving money and getting more for your membership rather than some dude standing around you counting reps on some random program he just made up. If that gym was in Australia I'd join up.
Uhh... 120 x 52 = 6,240. Definitely not "way more than 10,000 a year"
Chris Wells don’t forget the gym membership which was in my head but I forgot to write it.

The cheapest is 10x nicer then every gym I've ever been too
$10,000 a Year... This gym better be working ME out.

*Word that literally mean gym in Italian*
‘That doesn’t sound like a gym’
I think La Palestra is the best value. It is expensive but if you paid all those medical professionals individually, you would be paying the same amount, if not more. Combined with them all working together and putting together a fitness plan for you based on data tailored to you specifically, I think it's a great idea.
Me too!
I agree completely, i just wish i could afford it 😅
David Ilea actually, minus maybe the nutritionist, your information would be very limited, or would require a lot of research, that you might have to skip work or school to learn all of it
Duuudeee you can just always take any medical check-up anytime at a way way cheaper price.
-If you have the money to spare.
Terrible idea for us ordinary folks.
If could afford it, the last one would be the most worth it. They train with science, and analyze your techniques. A normal gym the trainers rarely know what they're doing, and don't do what is best for their client. The price for that gym is crazy, but if I could afford it I'd love it.
UrbanLegend2k11 believe me there are better options
UrbanLegend2k11 plenty of pt’s know what they’re doing and what to do for you and are a lot cheaper than that last gym
They have Doctors + Food experts + personal Trainers (at least 50x) + fun Activities(Bowling etc.). If you can find all that for way cheaper than congratz to you.
I think the last one is a good deal, I mean don't get me wrong but let's change perspective, all those specialists that are there cost a lot of money and some of them go trough the 2week initial process with you+ after that there are the personal trainers/equiptment/location etc and you only pay for that once a year remember!
but you have youtube for free?

I thought the $10k gym was going to be a complete scam, but honestly, it really might actually be worth it for people really serious about their training.
Darth Vader No, moron. If youre serious abiut your training, all you need is a barebell, a bench, a squat rack, and a lot of weights. Nobody ever became a champion by going to a $10k gym. No ball player, no bodybuilder, no powerlifter, no strongman, no runner, no athlete EVER made it anywhere by going to a $10k gym.
It is worth it for fat ppl
Oh boy, if you actually know how much pro athletes spend on personal training, medical evaluations, and nutrition even outside of what is offered by the team, this $10k looks like dollar store value.
Red Leader Cut the chatter red leader. Accelerate to attack speed. I'm going to cut across the axis and draw their fire.
Red Leader yes that's ture but look at how usain bolt runs. He doesn't move his centre of mass respective to body. When he starts to runs, he makes just the best angle to give him optimum speed for low power. My point is that professional ppl need this
Steven: "I'll eat anything."
Medical Director: "That's hard to do."
Steven: "Yeah."
Counter intuitive
The title is quite misleading considering the 10,000$ one was the only onje priced by year, therefore there isnt anywhere near as much of a price difference.
40*12=480 yeah you're right the difference is only 9520$
Lmao I don’t think you did the math before commenting this...
Im just trying to say that comparing a monthly price to a yearly price isnt a fair comparison, and there is no context of price in the title.
And 480$ vs 10,000$ already sounds way more boring.
If both were monthly that would be even less interesting: 40$ vs 840$
looking at it that way the difference is only 800$ and either way thats only a 6x increase, where some other worth it videos get up to a 5000x increase, so basically I dont have anything better to do and this is a way of misleading people to get more clicks (AKA clickbait).
DoctorPurpleSwag no duh it’s click bait. You are stating the obvious.
It's such a huge price difference still that I don't think it actually takes anything away from it.
That $40 gym is awesome. I would love to run like a hamster just to produce some energy 😂

Literally neglected the important parts of the gym aka how many benches, squat racks and deadlift platforms there is?
Not really, we can assume that all the gyms have all the those basic equipments. The idea is to show the extra, why does one gym truly cost $40 to $140 to $10,000 (yearly).
The $40 gym is you're typical high traffic gym and gives you the basics at good quality ( which I prefer)
The $140 dollar gym, gives you an experience other than coming to the gym to workout and leave. You can spend the entire day there, like a social club.
- in the grand scheme of things $140 isn't unbelievably expensive, it's a personal choice. You'd pay the same--ish for an LA Fitness or Equinox
The $10,000 per year club - is built for serious Athletes and people looking for a regimented lifestyle. No need to go here unless you're a D1 athlete looking to go pro, a professional Athlete in the off-season or tech CEO millionare with hardcore lifestyle. Chris Doctors & Nutritionists don’t work cheap...
Auto blipper
pretty sure sissies wouldn't be able to make the money needed for that last gym but yeah sure (:
Auto blipper the last one actually seems to be geared more to professional ot near-professional athletes. Not only could they afford it, but especially the part where they review their gait is a big thing athletes do so they can self assess their technique
Sissies and success are not directly related. You can be a sissy but still earn lots of money, they are not contradictory. Besides they could come from rich families etc.
Auto blipper I don't think so, they monitor your mental and physical health, while designing individual programs for you to improve/maintain it and if you have the money then why not?
That last place is totally worth it. I'm not even a big gym fan and I want to go there.

Yea you're right pay them to then charge their lights
10,000 dollars a year and they're still benching in the smith machine
GENERAL WIPE it was for an assesment, which in my opinion is pretty fair (:
Julio Cesar Violo literally false the nfl combine does the 225 test on bench presses not smith machines, smh, don't even reply of you can't bench 315
GENERAL WIPE dude thats the NFL! Not a gym where ANYONE can go, the smith machine is something where my grandma could get tested properly. And What is flase about it? Were they doing the NFL combine? Is just an assesment, I think that the way they chose to do it is comprenhensive enough for the average person. And I dont bench that much, but neither can most coaches in the NFL or anywhere else. anyway, I do think that someone that can bench that is prob a powerlifter or highlevel athlete (0.1%), definetly not the norm, you should be more open minded, I dont see anything wrong with that particular assesment, it is a legit baseline and a coach can get a lot of information for the programing to go. Specially since they tested mobility and stability separately.
Julio Cesar Violo look man bench press is a much harder movement then smith machine, this is due to the required balancing of the free weights, which is why its the most optimal way to go also anyone can bench 315 if you follow a well designed program and eat right it'll come in no time
GENERAL WIPE I know that bench press is harder... you have to stabilize the weight, that is why I’m saying that testing mobility and stability separately and smith machine bench press for the average person is fair. Harder is not always better for an assessment because sometimes you want to eliminate variables. Smith machine is as raw as a horizontal push can get, the programing actually sees the strength. And they see the limitations in multiple planes of stability in their other tests. And on the personal side, I care about my ratio of the main lifts, where my lowest priority is the bench press, I care about vertical push more because it transfers better in my sport. That being said I do know a little sport science, I do watch my ratio of bodyweight and supertotal, I am intermediate AF, but I am not in plateu so I’ll get where I want to following MRV principles in my mesocycles 🤷🏻♂️

10k per year 30k once
People also pay 300.000 for a house, you're comparing apples and microwaves.
Lame comparison that only a degenerate would do.
I paid 1500 for my used car.
Cool segment ! I love gyms & it’s the atmosphere that makes a gym special. Cool gym segment!💪
Steven: I host a food show on the Internet...I’d eat 3 steaks in a day.
Nutritionist: Wow.
😂
"And I eat 3 steaks in a day". More like you take like 3 bites of 3 different steaks.
Sentanyl3 at 3 drastically different price points.
At 3 drastically different times of day

Subscribe to my channel I need Belize subscribers 😐😐
He doesn't pay for it, his sponsors do anyway, so costs him nothing, thats why he only eats a tiny part
And one is covered in gold and truffle slices.
The La Palestra guy flexin with the Mars Yard Nike's OUCH
I'd definitely go to the last gym if I could choose, really intricate and focused on data of what your body needs, we all can't train the same way .
If I workout at that Gym of $10,000 , that workout better take me up the stairs to heaven
After a training program there you should be able to run up to heaven yourself.
Juggernaut D 💀💀💀
😂😂😂😂
It's not a gym but a fitness center. Since they literally build a program and have the facilities to work out in for less then 900 a month. Like they said they also reevaluate you and rebuild your program. If you just looking for a gym not the place to go, but if you are looking for place where you want to live a healthy life style it's the place to go it seems.
I would expect to see muscles the next day with that price haha
Watching this is enough of a workout for me
Veridian pussaaay
Wow im sorry
I want to work out but my body shape is already good without it. Give me motivation for healthy life pls
Yeah, I got a six pack from cringing
I've got six pack from laughing
Rep counting was the only extra feature I liked
Would you rather
Buy a car
Or
Go to the gym
.????
Go to the gym
Car
10,000?? Does the gym do all the work for me?
Andrew Byrne actually yes
Andrew Byrne I might be wrong but for $10,000 I think you can just get lipo.
Ah yes, lipo. Brilliant. I can get a heart condition, loose skin, and still not have any muscle. What a dream come true.
Ya someone will workout for u too!
Ray L lmfaoo
I typically watch these and the highest cost, to me, just isn't worth it. This time I'm completely wrong; that's such a comprehensive, data-backed analysis and implementation method for approaching your health that I'm very impressed.
Travelers Wena sharma arden
Yeah I wanna go there now
While that's all well and good I don't think it's worth the $800 a month or whatever it is. Maybe $800 for the initial consultation and your 12 week plan and all the analysis etc. But then maybe $100-200 for a few months until you need to do another assessment.
I know, right? I don't know what "running" was before this.
its like a month’s salary for my husband.... at this point in my life... not worth it
Cardio equipement that produces electricity--I thought of that 10 years ago. Fantastic--so cool to hear all that!!! WONDERFUL.The last place is overkill--like your GP, therapist and a workout buddy who's an expert could tell you everything they tell you.
$180 under 17 is how much it costs at the YMCA, it’s a great deal, especially because they have a track and pool, most places only have treadmills and I personally always feel best on real ground
I'm not gonna lie, I judged the 10k gym/year thing so fast. But that is an amazing, extensive, and WORTH amount imo. That is the best consultation and help you will probably ever get.
not worth it
Well, kinda is considering if you were to go to a Dr's for an extensive check-up like the one in the video, it would be well over 10k for American Healthcare, lol.
that $40 gym looked great for its price
I like the middle one, I used to go to a gym like that for about $90/month, it was the best.
Steven with the lefty lay up 🔥🔥🔥
