Bob.. Just took me over a hour to add Multifruit on Attingham park. Also removing Hops and adding Clover in its place as i have just downloaded Maize Plus. @@suolx it is possible that the map has other fruits already or structured differently.
You can have a look at your game log 90% of the time it will show you there what is wrong.

Great video, I added all of the additional fruit. I second the addition of Clover Bob, purely for Maize Plus purposes. I suggest the removal of spelt or rye since they look almost identical to each other in-game.

The maps I use have custom animals and such so it's not a simple drag and drop exercise. late to the party I am but thank you very much I had to do some tinkering on my own with folders I3d,map.xml as I could not edit them so I had to drag them onto desktop then edit then put back in I'm not to computer savvy but your video is spot on thanks a lot 👍

Hey Bob, How can i remove Millet from your pack.... if i dont load millet.xml game crashes at 23% but i dont want millet
just check your log for ewrrors and fix the errors brother, if you want to remove millet, you need to remove it from all xml files as well as the map.i3d :)

you are welcome to use any and all my content from my downloads, they are there for public use, to modify enjoy, make your own.. FarmerB0B yes you can also add it to modhub, however i have never ran it through testrunner, you might need to do tweaks to the textures etc.. but let me know how it goes :)

Hi brother, yes you remove the unwanted ones frm every xml in ithe pack and finally remove them from the map i3d and then also remove the foliage files. Then follow the same principle for the install. But bear in mind doing a custom fruit like that is tricky and extremely time consuming. And a lot of trial and error.
Hi bob ! , if i add multifruit to a map , are all the machines in my modfolder like Combine's multifruit ready ? I mean by that i can just harvest any fruit with mine equiment?
I was also wondering the same thing, I think u would have to start a new save game but if it's something like alfalfa then you could just use normal hay equipment. But that's just my assumption.
Hiya Bob, thank you so much for your time and effort. I have used this on a couple maps now and works like a charm. One thing I have run into on two maps though and hoping you can give a little more insight. On two maps now the map.xml does not have a a densityMapHeightTypes file to replace with your . Both maps have as the closest thing. On one map I added your line below the group with fill types and fruit types but the map wouldn't load after that. Take it out and it loads fine. Any ideas where to look or how to handle this? Thanks again!
Hi brother, great job man.
The map.xml is what configs your map for the game, so in there you will always find the default stuff needed to run the map. The filltypes.xml and fruittype.xml and densitymapheighttypes are files that are not required for default maps, if they are not specified in the map.xml the game will load a default set for the map. So if your map.xml does not have aline for any xml, just open one of th3 basegame map.xml files and copy the lines across, then copy my mf pack files into your map, and very important is to then modify the lines to point to the particular file in your map, as when you copy them over then they will point to the ingame ones. Hopes this helps..
Also check your game log for errors
So what if a map already has filltypes xml, fruittypes xml etc.... do we just overwrite those files with yours I assume?
If your map has that already you need to merge mine with the old ones, but be careful as my pack has 10 multifruit in it, if your map has other multifruit it will cause problems. You will then need to remove the others before you can add mine. It is not shown in my video but you then need to edit your map.i3d remove thebother MF, also all their files and folders, then add my pack as th3 video shows. If your map does not have mf, then just replace the files.

You can change them but it is an icred8vlw time consuming process. All xml and i3d in your map folder will nee editing with the names.

If the mirrors are black then its your waterplanes. There is a problem there.

So the only issue I’m running into is the crop is not visible in the crop list when pausing the game but I can select the crop with the planter and seeder. However, when I turn on the planter, the game says the selected crop is not available on the map. Any idea where I went wrong? I believe this to be a simple error
@@bfgedits2024 you might have multiple fill and fruittype.xml configs. Also there are many mods that overwrite your maps fill and fruittype.xml so test tour map without any mods in the mods folder.
Also check your map.xml that it reference the correct fill and fruittype.xml,s and make sure there are no duplicate lines calling those.
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cam I got it resolved earlier. I was putting in a different crop that’s not in this video but was using this as some help, just had to lowercase the word

Yes tou need to follow the video, the growth.xml gets called from map.xml so make sure you have all that setup as per video. 😀
Hi! After getting multifruit to work I realised that i can not ride my horses anymore, the screen gets black, but the sounds still going in back so it does not freeze. I have to quit it all and start over and everything work fine until I try to ride one horse again. Any ideas? :)
Hi there, there is definitely a fatal error, check your game log for the errors and fix them. Or drop your unzipped map on testrunner it will tell you as well.

Warning: Density map height type channels [0-6] are overlapping with the density map height channels [6-12]. This will lead to unexpected results.
You need to rebuild the gdm file as i showed in the video. Convert, rename, open i3d, check errors, save, rename back and delete old.png is the process
In the V3 pack there's no Lavender. I mean, the files are there but there are no related lines for the map.i3d and map.xml. I tried adding them manually, in giant editor it says all the files are loaded correctly, as is Lavender. But in-game it just wont show as an option. What am i doing wrong?
Lavender is an unfinished build, so it will not work yet. 😀👍
Hi! I did this in No mans land. But I had to adjust the filltypes xml from your files adding the mushrooms, flowers and gold from NML fillttypes because this process just disable them for some reason. Just a heads up for anyone doing this on NML map. Thank you
Oh yes as i said in the video, if you have an existing filltypes.xml and fruittype.xml then you will need to merge them. 👍😄 but thanks for the heads up

@@konalbarbarian2974 hi there, the pack will only work if your map is standard and no other extra fruit is added. So follow the video to the letter, pause and do exacltly as i do and also using the same directories as i do in the video. Then u will be fine.
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cam NML does not have additional crops, I follow your guide, but unfortunately I can't sow in the field, but new crops show up, for example, in the shop.
@@konalbarbarian2974 ok, if it shows in the shop it means your filltypes.xml is working, did you check your game log for errors? I think you might have a problem there, maybe growth.xml as well
has anyone had an issue with the alfalfa ( lucerne)? It kills my FPS and I can't mow it or anything.
Yes my old pack had Fps issues with alfalfa and lavender, just redownload the pack and replace the foliage folder in your map with the new download one.

happens when you add the mf above the other fruits in the foliagemultilayer.. i explicitly talk about this in the video :) they need to be added below the existing fruits :)
Hi, I just tried to install the pack, but the loading stops at 60%. What could it be?
hi there.. in the documents folder fs22, where the mods folder of the game is, open that up (farmingsimulator22 folder) there is a file called log.txt open that and check the errors, this will give you an idea what is wrong.. in general i have seen guys failed to do the gdm conversions correctly.. both gdms need to be converted for the process to work properly, then also the xml configs.. there are too many to mention.. but check the log :) for the errors

After harvest poppy there is some spots on filed. Can;t plow it expect when u put on field creating. How to deal with it?
Check in the editor, the field is not painted properly with the terrain detail brush.

Hey Bob its a great tutorial but I have big problems with adding it to the mühlenkreis mittelland map. Everything works perfect up to the grass. The gras gets replaced with poppys which is making the whole map red. Can you maybe help me with this problem?

great video all working apart from carrots not showing on any seeders or planters as available crops they can seed apart from one modded planter any idea why?
yes you need to add carrots, onions and other root crops to your "planter" in the "fruitTypeCategories" section at the bottom of the fruittype.xml this section is what controls the fruit on the various equipment, the other multifruit like Rye, Millet that are seeds need to be added to the "Seeder" in the same section

Yep, i did it step by step as in video. Fertilisation working right, but seeders show "unavailable seed quantity for this crop". Or something like that. I have game in czech language.
@@theodordietl9943 did you check ingame seeders? Also check the fruittype.xml and filltypes.xml that it shows the fruit you are struggling with under the sowing machine line
@@theodordietl9943 also remove all mods and try the game vanilla. Some mods modify the fruittype.xml and filltypes.xml like maize plus etc. Could cause issues.
Sowing works, but only as standard seed quantity. Basic ingame crops (wheat, barrley, oat ...) are seeded by ground type. Low quantity at loam, high at loamy sand etc. New crops can be seed only as standard quantity. I was try few multifruits maps, in all its same.
If one only wanted a few of the crops, would he still need to pick through all the files, or can he just send it all over and then edit out what he doesn't want? I'm looking to put Alfalfa, Rye, and Triticale on a specfic map. I do play with Maize plus, but there is no extra fruit types on the map. Not planning on dumping any of these on the ground, just going to get chopped and put into a silo.
Yes, you can put everything over as per th3 video, when you add the fruit to the map.i3d you just add th3 ones you want.
Then you need to remove the others from growth, filltypes, fruittypes, densitymaphighttypes and map.xml(PF section)
But i nean, why not have them all, my mf pack now only has 8 in anyways. Players might prefer more. 🤔
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cami saw that you had some removed in V3 so I went back to V2 to get what I needed. Playing on Westby, some of that stuff in the pack don’t grow there, and I’m trying to keep it somewhat realistic. I’d be better off if I could figure out where/why the map has so many foliage errors… almost frustrating to be honest.
@@TheRealJesseStoltzfus if the map has only standard fruit, there shoukd be no errors regarding foliage. Test map only and definitely without maize plus, that is a terrible mod especially if you have mf on ur map. It modifies your fiil and densitymapheight and fruittype.xml so sometimes it makes a mess of it and you have errors.
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cam well, I'm pretty sure something messed up in GE 9.0.3 and that's why I had those foliage errors. I reverted back to 9.0.2 and did your fix in the GE xml, and tried again, and now it all works and is error free. I'm still not sure exactly what happened, because at one point 9.0.3 was working just fine for me. So now we go through and try this again.

In my map, I have already got a Maps_fillTypes.xml in the same place (maps/mapAlpine) as my Mapi3d file, just wondering what I do with the maps_fillTypes.xml that you have in your download, as they contain Barley, wheat etc., the same as my one. thank you
Hi brother, no worries, Like i said in the video if you alrwady have one you need to check why, it means you must already have a MF setup, if you dont have any ustom fruit then simpmy replace the files, but do make backups always..

The stuff coming out of tfe combines are managed by the particle systems. Everything is already setup in my mf pack. Your map.xml points to the needed systems. Just check you follow the video where i modify the map.xml
Density map not open with notepad plus plus
You cannot ooen a density map, it is a compressed encrypted file. To open a density map you need to convert it with the giants editor GRLE converter, then it can be opened using a texture program like Gimp or Photoshop or Paint.net
Hello Farmer Bob. Well I have issues if I do what you say. I tried to fix it myself, but it is just to difficult for me. Is it possible somehow to mail you, and mail about my problems I see in the log file? I want to add the fruitpack, but it is too difficult for me. I spend 4 hours or so. But perhaps with some help from you, and if I send me my log file, perhaps it can be fixed. Let me know is that is an option and if I can mail you, or contact you somewhere. I have added this to a map and followed the video step by step, however when I mow alfalfa or clover, I get no swath on the ground. Can anyone help?
Make sure you have not got duplicate lines in your map.xml
The one controlling the tio on ground function is the densitymaphighttypes.xml so check your map.xml if that fike is called and that the directory to it is correct. It should not be in $data
Also check your error log for errors

@@Ash_McD check your tipcolision, make sure channel 0 has no white on the fields, if there are remove with the subtract function.

in the video i explain about the order of the fruit in the multilayer section, you must add your new fruit as i showed below the existing fruit and not above, the order is very important, then you must recreate the fruit.gdm as i show :)

I've added PaintableField to the map succesfully, but I can't get it to work for the MF Pack...
Log shows a bunch of errors where it can't find the files, eventhough I changed the path to my taste
"$data/multifruitmod/.../..." (different for all the files obviously, hence the dots)
Hi there, your directory structure does not make sense, where did you place your map? And what did you call th3 map folder?
Remember you cannot edit anything in the game folders, nor add or remove.
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cam Ahh okay I didn't know I couldn't edit anything in the game folders, so would it be possible to load my current savegame in if I get the Elmcreek map as a modmap?
I've changed everything back so I could play in that save, so unfortunately I don't have any paths of it, but I thought I was on the right track, guess not haha

@@L0nelyH0wl yes you can load almost everything in except for trees and ground textures. If you watch my video on the silverynforest i show how to get the savegame stuff into your map.

But first make a new map from ingame maps or just download my 2x startmap from my website.
Does it work with modhub maps ? I tried with No Mans Land, I did all the step one by one, but I don't see the map in game
yes it does work on any map, but please note if your map already has multifruit on it or any other custom fruits you will need to do some additional editing by adding the pack to the existing fruit on the map. Then the other thing is modhub maps is updated automatically so you might need to edit the maps moddesc.xml file and change the map name and mapid to something else in your case "nomanslandEdit" or whatever you feel like so that it will not remove your changes.

Hi, how do I add crops to the points of sale?
in your filltypes.xml you specify which places ie. farmsilo, productions etc.. and if you have a custom sellpoint then you need to open the sellpoint xml and add the fruit into it.

Hmm if im correct you need to bale lavender either the cotton baler or normal baler, cant remember. Ill need to verify😉😄👍🤣

Ok, you have a problem with the effects. Check your lines in the map.xml points to the effects and motionpatheffects.xmls then verify all the xmls and i3ds in thise folders

@@enjojenjoj9278 then your effects and motionpatheffects.xml are not connected as i said. Verify them. They are setup in the map.xml

Hi Justin, no it is not a mod. it is an installation package that needs manual installation as per video :)

no, you need to install the pack as per video onto the map you want to use, it is a map pack.. so you install it onto the map, which if error free you can load onto the MP server@@justinbigalke8849

No the video is old, i have since updated the mf pack and left 2 slots open for guys to add their own fruits as everyone wanted different fruits as the standard game maps only supply 10 extra fruits.

Yeah i had to pick 10 to fill the limit. But clover is basically grass, just plant grass instead. Or is there another use for clover ?

Is this possible with every map?
yes.. but only if the map does not have mf on it already.. and if you have added this to a map you cannot use mods that replace your fill and fruittypexml as then your mf wont work anymore.
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cam a but i have a rebuilded a beet harvester to a potato harvester just add in the modfile to "potato harvester" insteed of beet harvester... But that doesnt work then anymore or?

It is better to just download a modded harvester, there are a few about, just google sugarbeer harvesters.. @@keanomatthijsse7356
@@FarmerBoBonUA-cam yes but i dont like that harvesters so i builded the grimme maxtron from a sugarbeetharvester to a potato harvester....but i dont think its a problem, just try it this evening and then we will see🤷🏼♂️

Hi Tristan, i cant understand what you mean by that? This video is for guys who make their own maps and edit maps, so you need to have a general understanding of editing maps. If you are not familiar with mapmaking i would sugguest my Giants Editor Mapmaking Course. There we take things tight from th3 very beginning step by step and make our own playable map.

yes the pack is a work in progress, not made for modhub, but for adding to your own maps for fun... so you will have tons of obsolete files, even more in v3 of the pack.
