Yeah they had these on sale Black Friday or Cyber Monday they dropped down to like $360 with the coupon code. Can't do the integrated bracelet myself pretty cool idea with the indices but not the first watches done that. Just still outside of my range for money even at the 360.
One of these days I'm going to celebrate my birthday, which is on the 22nd, in the southern hemisphere so instead of the 2nd shortest day of the year it will be the 2nd longest. Anyways I like to tell people with it being the day (typically) after the solstice that I'm brining more sun with me, we're turning things around! The only colorway I preferred is already sold out, and I'm not sure I'd pay that kind of money for a Spinnaker regardless. I can get some pretty stellar "swiss-made" watches for that kind of money...OTOH, Mark/c is his usual expert presence.

Watches are one tiny piece of engineering.Building a bridge is another thing .Bridges dont get the respect but we just use them and think nothing.I built my own at home to cross a stream behind our house and it gave me more pleasure knowing what deadweight it could handle.All timber .Maths and physics are good friends.
I'm proud to say I was born and raised in and around Sydney Australia, and even at 71yrs old I still am in awe every time I go across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, whether by train or car. But you are right Glenn, I think most people don't care about the engineering. Congrats on your feat in your backyard.

The indices are not stuck to the crystal. They are discretely connected to the chaptering which is hidden when looked from the top
Yeah, a bit of bracket, but I'm fairly certain they are pressed into the crystal to keep them from wiggling.
Makes sense. That way, you could replace the crystal if needed.

They are on little pedestals, they are basically kissing the crystal.
