Such a delightful thing to see. This is a movement I truly hope spreads. THIS is how we help climate. THIS is how we help the threatened animals. Give them a place to live. We create our own happiness or misery. We make the choice. Fortunately there are people like this that can see beyond the quick money and laziness. Kudos to all of you.
what an amazing project, made possible by the energy and vision of a few strong and capable people, who connected with the incredibly important "villagers and elders" who made much of this project possible. For those villagers and their families, the farmers who have benefited from the Lake's rejuvenation, I salute you! I would like to think there are other "conscious people" around the world who may watch this and become inspired to do the same as you very humble Indian people. Congratulations on your efforts and the results you have achieved.
What a beautiful example of how community works together and achieve such a wonderful project. The right way for the future generation. Thank you from Belgium..you have done a great job and proud of the result..well done again 🌞✨👍🏼
You are doing a great job by reviving into the mind of people the importance of caring and respecting the natural ressources, beginning with water. Global warming is not a unique cause of problems. In India, like everywhere, it is mostly the pollution coming from the materialistic way of living that's unfortunetely destroy nature's gifts ! Real God consciousness means also caring for everything that is life. Only to this point our prayers can be answer and we will achieve the supreme goal of life.
One of the reasons why this project was so successful was because of the involvement of the villagers. This is exactly how a CSR project should be done. Once the local people understand the importance and benefits of a project they get involved and the success factors increases manifolds. Well done!!
Such a beautiful initiative! I'm sure the future citizens would love to come here and experience nature at its best! 😍 Thank you Mr.Anand and everyone who were behind this wonderful project!
I have seen the Paani, now this organization contributing to the welfare of the people of India. This is a true example of democracy, rich/poor working side by side, hand & hand to benefit humanity at it's most basic need, WATER. Outstanding achievement. India has found its connection to mother earth.
My Namaskarms to each and person associated with this project. We read in the Vedas that we need to preserve our Mother Nature. We pray every day but each and every member of this project has put the Devine Vedas to use to help ourselves and our next generation to protect Mother Nature. My deepest gratitude to all you and as leader Sir you are blessed with a true vision. My humble request is please approach schools and colleges to be a part of each of your next projects so that you pass on the inspiration which you have ignited is passed onn to the next generation. 🙏
Hats off to the chairman of Sansera group ,how I wish more such established businessman came forward &do their bit for the environment. I Bow down to you in gratitude sir. Free Tibet uthisht Bharatham 🙏
Very Great Initiative, and best effort to save our environment and Earth. you have a good knowledge of this field, it's our suggestion to spread it and share it so that others could use it and make this earth better. your effort is very Appreciative. Thank you.
Ohh.. My...God... Hats off... Hats off... Hats off.. guys what a tremendous work after paani foundation i have seen. C'mon guys need all of ur team snap... Guys smile n "Say cheeezzz!!!!! .. " Oops... Sorry... Unhealthy!!!!!! Guys breath, smile n " Say trees... " Now that's what i called a healthy way by all means... Thank u Anand sir n team Respect.. Respect.... Respect .....
Commendable efforts by the whole team right from top management. Congratulations on your great achievement and you should be extremely proud of it. Hope this will inspire many more companies to come forward to take things in their hands to make a difference to our surrounding environment and future generations.
Government is collecting a percentage of tax for lake development, know this and get your area share from authorities, contribute people around and make Bangalore beautiful. Very inspiring 👍
This makes my heart sing ! To see so many people turn up and plant all those trees, is truly amazing. To see local people understand the importance of rehabilitating the lake and how it will ultimately makes their lives healthier and happier. Thank you to all the people involved for making our world a better place.
Fantastic job and Cheers to Anand Malligavad !!! Your attitude and honesty is very impressive. Your leadership is for sure great that your management, local, government and even the NGO have worked with you to get this completed. God & Nature is walking with your success. Thank you !!!
I'm no scientist and I don't understand the engineering aspects of this sort of project but somehow it all makes sense. I absolutely love watching projects like this. India has had a massive water shortage & pollution problem. In a country where rain is an abundance when it comes; to see projects like this flourishing and making use of what Mother Earth is providing for free - its wonderful. Allowing villagers to thrive and prosper from the benefits of water conservation it's incredible and giving them the simple knowledge and power of taking care of something shared like this will make them feel secure in their future.
I love that so many people in India are being incredibly progressive in 'fixing' their environment back to sustainability. This is a fantastic result for everyone that lives around the lake, to have the lake back and the garbage gone. The biodiversity in the area appears to be progressing at a fast pace. I am curious, how is the water quality? I know that is a problem in many areas of India that is difficult to resolve.
Great Job Guys...it’s Good to see that Our people took up a great initiative. “The sense of Satisfaction and pleasure once get after doing such things will be always cherished by people like you in your life.” You guys not only brought lake back to life but also educated other people too.
Excellent work!! 👏🏽👏🏽 one thing I notice though. There's no gradual natural slope for ground dwelling water birds and native wildlife to access the water. At least from one side. Moorhens, Coots, Jacana, Storks, Ibises etc need marshy shallow approach into the water. Not a sudden drop of ten fifteen feet! I suppose only a few species can use the islands. Steep bunds allows only humans to drive and walk all around.
Thanks a lot Hats off to all the wonderful guys(i comapre u all as real God's) who contributed ND worded hard for this wonder full cause ... Congratulations to the entire team ..even I am trying to this kind of project in my village ..u guys r inspiration for us .thank a lot once again .pls share ur no as well so if we required any ideas we can get from u😊
Thank you thank you very much all for this beautiful work. It is too good I think is it really possible.. I think you people are equal to soldiers as soldiers are guarding our present you people are guarding the future. Being from a family of army background I also want to do some always but as a common human being what can I do hope I can do anything like this
All companies need to do this. Plant permaculture self sustaining food forests and end poverty, drought, flooding and famine forever. It isn't enough to just plant trees. People need food. Poverty is the cause of suffering for 80% of people. Food trees can solve this is in a generation.
Great job and what a prestige for your company. - But please add subtitles (or a link to a pdf with the text, the description box, will not allow such along text. And / or you could remove the music from the video. (if the producing company still has the recordings). I assume the video is in English for people that are not from India: Indian English obviously carries the rhythm and intonation of the mother tongue and while it is charming - it makes it also much harder to understand for the person that learned and adjusted to "generic" and bookwise English. So I recommend not enhancing the video with music - it is not needed, and at times takes away from the messages. It makes it harder to understand especially since it is a little too loud in passages (that are hard to understand for a person not in tune with Indian English, anyway.). And / or you could add subtitles for the whole language (the parts in native language were subtitled). That would also help the hard of hearing / deaf folks. and the people who are not very prolific in English. Reading is usually easier than understanding spoken language, especially when there is a strong accent.
Through good water management, people can make a living off their land and won't need to go to work in cities in sweatshops to make a living. Working in harmony with nature is good for us all.
Coz till people dont change their mindset everything that the Govt does will be useless. Its people's wrong activities that essentially damages the environment

I live in Bangalore ..I can see varthur lake and one lake behind ITPL(name unknown) are under rejuvenation..Does anybody know which company is doing this ?
Can anyone remind me which government official was responsible for the pathetic of the toxic lake ? We need to start holding officials responsible for not doing their job.
If we could start from a couple of districts per year on government funds, making the work done sustainable with regular maintenance by the local population etc, we could get a much more liveable country within a decade . How amazing for Sansera, villagers and SayTrees to work together to rejuvenate this lake. Restores my faith in humanity. Thank you!
They need to find long term smart sustainable ways to maintain the trees/ ecosystem. Volunteers are short term activity.

Love this. We could do this in parts of the USA!
We need it in the UK to stop the flooding. We need more trees to keep the water on the land, not rushing into the rivers and drains.

when a bunch of people could do miracle
why can't govt do
Coz till people dont change their mindset everything that the Govt does will be useless. Its people's wrong activities that essentially damages the environment
why rely on inept corrupt institutions. if change has to happened. we the people have to do it ourselves.
Colin Sydney we can initiate but what about financial expenses ?? How can a common public afford
