I just got a MJX Hyper Go 14210 to my son (and me :) ) also based on your video and we totally like it. What would you recommend to get as a partner to that car? Something in similar price range would be nice. Do you think the MJX Hyper Go 14209 would be a good car to get for us, so we can enjoy the dad and son time by driving similar performing cars? Or would you recommend something way different? Thanks in advance.
@@hofsplace absolutely agree. 3S is cool in large areas such as football stadiums or large parking lots. 2S is the sweetspot, even at 75% throttle for me and my son
I purchased one of dual motor winches and the little lever to manually release doesn't push the spool out far enough to free it from the cog, so I have to use my hand to push it out further to release it.. yours pushes it out far enough and freely releases.. I hope they send me a new one.. :(
@@hofsplace Okay, I was able to find the grub screw on the inner barrel (you kinda have to move the spring out of the way), I filed down the 4 little tabs a bit on the inner barrel facing the spool to allow it to release when the release lever is pushing the spool out. Now it works like it's supposed to!

Yes, having similar cars, than it's skill you'll need to win. So the 14209 would be a great option.

I had the same thing. I took it apart and modded it a little. But I can't remember what I exactly did 😅
Hmm I took it apart, but couldn’t figure out how to release the spool from the motors, do they just pull apart? I didn’t want to break anything
@@hiddentomato you have to unroll the rope completely. Than you'll find a hex that holds the spool onto the motor shaft
