Here's a story...my grandpa owned a bar and when I was young I spent many early mornings there....the place was empty except for the true drunks who sat at at the bar....the back room had pool tables pin ball machines and a juke box. It was always dark back there because it was the time of day where they were waiting for evening crowd lol. I'd play this song on that juke box and get shivers back there. Always a strange memory and I love it.
Just like this lead singer playing drums at 14 I began playing drums and later became a lead singer. The drums have to be a natural talent in order to sing playing them.
I was 14 years old, 1977 when I first heard that song and I was living in Pasadena Southern California. Needless to say, it was my instant favorite.
They are much older hear you guys have to check out their live version in 1977.

Quick question. Do they know they are related? Maybe one from a different mom. But they are obviously closely related.
I love your videos, straight to the music. Hotel California is a classic of course, but what is it really about? Drugs, Fame, Self-abuse? No one really knows. Its dark no matter how you look at it. Great song! PS... Have you ever thought about doing high-end sports car reviews? Check out the Ferrari F12!! I think you would like that car, a beautiful Ferrari to drive your beautiful girlfriend around in. BTW, the car goes over 200MPH.
To me it's about the corruption, giving into the pressures and temptations of Hollywood. "We hadn't had that spirit here since 1969 " is referring to the end of the golden age (the innocence) of Hollywood. And the murder of Sharon Tate. Call me weird but I envision the woman in the song as the ghost of Sharon Tate speaking to him.
What language is this guy speaking? I'd like an English Translation.
