I have used pocket 3 a lot now. I can say if the image is well exposed and under iso 800 it produce very good image. Once you underexpose and overexpose a little bit, the image degrade a lot and hard to fix in post.

To me the DJI is ok for the average content creator or UA-cam. The zve1 with gimbal seems like a great setup for weddings, corporate events, concert promotions etc. You could really tell the difference in dynamic range and image quality with the side by side, but OP3 is still pulling its weight quite well especially in low light situations.

Osmo pocket 3 is awesome, my main issue with it for my personal use is I often record long day shots and even with the battery handle, I think I will drain out the battery before finishing my project, I would need to plug a power bank, use a band to attached it to a tripod but then I couldnt use use easily...

Great video! I’m going to try that Viltrox. I was testing out the Sony 11mm on ZV-E1. I’ve been shooting with OP3 and It’s good, but I have iPhone 15 pro max I carry everyday and own ZV-E1.

Im about to shoot a wedding and Im thinking of ditching my main gimbal. Imma try and just run a Sony A7iv with Tamron 35-150 and the Osmo Pocket 3 for my wide shots and gimbal moves. Most time, Im only using a wide angle lens on the gimbal anyways and dont need the depth of field. Thanks for making me less doubt about the set up lol

I wish DJI included a similar feature with their new gimbals. BUILT IN ACTIVE TRACK IN THE GIMBAL ITSELF. Just throw in the User interface from the pocket 3 where you can tap to track people/items. This would open up so much creative shots and movements especially for solo operators. I don't want to screw around with a separate raveneye/lidar system.
