I'll keep this short.. Firstly thank you SNB for sending the link you sent me. Some of this may have been my own fault!
I had ordered an OBDll tester, however before that tester came I disconnected the MAP and ran engine to see if there was any difference with the engine.. Does not work like that....Duhhh
Recall problem would begin as soon as the temperature light goes out, holding back lack of power, acceleration poor.. Cold engine
    (Absolute Power)!
So yes i soon discovered that I did not disconnect the battery!!!!!
So anyway the MAP was removed and cleaned left to dry fully and then put back in car started and now the thing barely runs and is now worse than it was in the beginning.
OBDII arrived the next day.. Tested.. P0107 Error code I reckon I shorted what may have been a malfunctioning MAP.
Not disconnecting the battery (IMPORTANT AND I FORGOT IT) Is what finished that MAP off.
So no wonder the engine now running like a bag of you know what.
So will order a new one and follow PROTOCOL DISCONNECT BATTERY Duhh!
    NOW THE CRAZY CRAZY PART.
The original problem I started out with from the very beginning I assumed was a bad Oxygene sensor it was classic case.
I had examined the OX sensors on the car and it looked like at some point the Bank 1 sensor had already been replaced at some a few years ago when car belonged to someone else
Believing no way was it Bank 1 I decided to replace Bank 2 which looked the age of the car.
Snapping off 2x exhaust flange bolts which I retapped.. OK at some point this would happen anyway so thats been done.
I tell you, you cannot make this shit up..
So when I was doing a scan on the OBDII I see P0031 code showing yes the bank 1 Oxygene sensor showing as bad.. W.T.F!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The one I replaced bank 2 is responding and not present on screen meaning its working.
So People don't be a complete doughnut like me trying to guess YOU WILL BE WRONG!!!!
GET AN OBD tester......... get one getone getone I cannot stress that enough I got a good one on Amazon and only about 20 notes.
Had I gone down that route in the begining instead of being a complete **** and guessing Could have saved myself a whole lotta problems.
Bank 1 was the culprit probably all along.
The MAP I'm sure I messed that up..
If all this fails and the problem is still there then the Car is scrapped I'm not wasting the money on it so fingers crossed.
I like your vids, Not because I do not know how to do many of these things, but i just like to see how someone else does it.
Please excuse me not disconnecting the battery (I know) :( Lol Duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Can you please update me on the P0171 code. Do you also have a lack of power issue when you push the gaspedal? I got the same issue but the car drives fine sometimes. I installed new catalytic converter and o2 sensor 1 before and after the cat.

Great video, like the simple step by steps. What symptoms would you get with a dirty map?

I ordered a new one for my K12. Getting excessive fuel consumption of 7km/l. Car also idles at 1500rpm. How would I remove the check engine light without a diagnostic machine?
