I love it! This documentary really shows all of the hard work that was put into this animation! I love watching The Devil and Daniel Mouse, so it was especially a treat to look back on exactly how it was made! I really enjoyed this!

I really think some modern cgi animated movies should have been done in drawing. Some just look wayy better that way. Example: Treasure planet was mostly drawing, but they did use some cgi modeling, the difference is it was well placed. could you imagine how ugly the characters might have been in cgi. And i think a lot of movies are making that mistake today
Okay, call me a phan, but there are a few snips.... like the girl character on opening night, with the gown and the song, that kinda remind me of Phoenix in Phantom of the Paradise, as well as the multi-adjective description of the movie. Musical horror comedy... Fair is fair, though, Paul Williams was cuter than the devil in this flic. Then again, Swan was only WORKING for the devil. This guy IS the devil. The DEVIL as a MUSIC PRODUCER. Tasty, Daniel. Tasty!

This is how animation used to be in the 20th century. Of course, in the present day, animation apps took over cel animation via 35mm film entirely.
