The Kevin part does makes so much more sense. Especially when you consider how much Servantas would have had to do in order to pull of his ruse. He would have had to spread the rumour, convince people that a species and planet they had never heard of was real, make sure nobody ever tries to visit said planet, track down and alter the memories of a convincing enough criminal (in this case Ragnarok) and probably alter the memories of some very high up people. Now you could maybe convince me he did so to a few of them, but good luck trying to convince me he got close enough to do that to Azmuth and especially Paradox. So yeah, the dudes a lying bastard.
And don't even get me started on Aggregor. The wiki says that he is an experiment of Servantas that was created with Kevin's DNA. Explaining why they have the same power. When Servantas didn't need him anymore, he erased his mind and set him loose on the universe. This is the biggest bull crap ever, and just further proves my point. Servantas would have had to go into excruciating detail designing an artificial like for Aggregor, since he is supposed to actually be from Osmos 5. And are we just supposed to believe he's never been back to his world since then? He literally says he was going to take the Andromeda aliens back their, but Ben and co forced him to do it there! Meaning he's been there and probably had a similar rig back there! Or are we supposed to believe Servantas made that all up too?
My interpretation of the scene in _Rooters of All Evil_ where Servantis bumps heads with Kevin and the "false memories get lifted" was actually that Servantis used his telepathy THEN AND THERE to manipulate Kevin's memories there to try to drive Kevin insane or isolate him from his friends. Servantis is a Cerebrocrustacean and superhero cartoon villain, meaning that he would have the intelligence to pull off a plan that was both that intricate and that contrived.
It doesn't make sense for Servantis to have lied, he didn't lie at any point in the episodes he appeared. When Kevin found out that Osmosians are not aliens, it was when Servantis accidentally bumped his head on him, that is, Servantis would have to be a super genius to come up with all that in less than a second when he bumped his head with Kevin. Besides, lying about it would only make him look even worse to the plumbers, so he'd have to be really stupid to lie about it. So, if Servantis had lied, he would have to be both a Hyper genius who thought of the entire Osmosians lie in milliseconds and an idiot for sullying his image for no reason. Furthermore, Aggregor was confirmed to be a clone and Ragnarok a Rooter. If Devin really was Max's partner, then Max is either an idiot or a sadist, for meeting Kevin when he was 11 years old and not realizing that the boy who looks and has the same powers as his partner was not his son (which he promised take care) and then sent the boy to the Null Void without any remorse or plan to get him out later. Servantis had a high ranking in plumbers, so it wouldn't be difficult for him to create files and false information about a planet, not least because, there must be no one who keeps checking if each planet really exists (after the incident with Servantis maybe it has), and considering that plumbers usually have reliable information, so there is no reason for other people and organizations to doubt the existence of a specific planet. Azmuth and Inspector 13 have no reason to be checking that all planets and species really exist at all, not to mention they probably use information already cataloged by the plumbers, especially 13, which focuses on weapons, not species. Another point that definitely proves that there are no Osmosians is that if they did, why would Kevin be so unique and important to them? Aggregor might not be as useful as Kevin because he was a clone that wasn't as good as the original, but if there was a planet full of Osmosians, there would be no reason for Rooters to go to such lengths just to get Kevin.
@@miguelbianchi968 1) What episode says that Aggregor is a clone and Ragnarok is a Rooter? Twitter? Twitter is not an episode. 2) If Aggregor is a clone, why does he have horns, something that Kevin didn't have as an old man in _Paradox?_ 3) Where did Aggregor build the original machine if not Osmos V, where he stated multiple times that he built the original machine? 4) If Kevin had all these repressed memories like you claim, why didn't Gwen's mind scan for repressed memories in _Vendetta_ find them? Need I remind you, that was the same season where _Time Heals_ happened and base form Gwen time traveled. Is Servantis somehow more powerful than Gwen now? When the f$%k did that happen? 5) They were an Earth-based unit, so Kevin could be unique and important to them because Kevin might be the only human-Osmosian hybrid ever. Remember that the galactic Plumbers and Earth Plumbers hadn't been fully integrated when the Rooters first found Kevin. After that point, he was Agent Levin, and Servantis likely viewed Kevin as his soldier and/or property. 6) Azmuth is the definitive source on whether or not Osmosians exist because if they do, he has a DNA sample on Primus.
@@jagnestormskull3178 1 - Twitter is not an episode, but from the crew it was intended to show Aggregor dying because he was a clone, so at least it is an explanation to think about. Also, in which episode is Servantis said to be lying? None, so by that logic, it's also not valid. And if you don't consider anything the crew says, then Kevin himself said he never met his own father in AF, only heard stories about him, and even so he has a photo with his own father 2 - At the end of the Flashbacks, Servantis said that the amalgamation kids and Kevin were a failure, so he must have tried to make a modified clone, older, powerful and that doesn't go crazy and out of control when absorbing energy (since clearly the personality from Aggregor didn't change at all as he absorbed more and more energy) 3 - False memories 4 - Servantis is a genius, I don't think it's so easy to see the changes he made. Until because, Max was married (or at least had children) with an Anodite, so Servantis probably thought something like this could happen 5 - I don't think it would be difficult for them to be able to make a new hybrid in the laboratory if there really was a planet full of Osmosians. Also, Servantis told his own team that Kevin was 1 in 1 trillion, so that statement wouldn't make sense if he had an entire planet with the same powers. 6 - So you think Azmuth knows all the more than 1 million samples of DNA from the Omnitrix and he wasn't even the one who took them? Not to mention he sure isn't checking Primus or that all the planets and DNA samples are there. 7 - It was also never explained why Max didn't recognize Kevin when he was a child, or how Kevin managed to run away from home when Max had promised to take care of him.

I know right? After watching this I’m speechless about Kevin and my brain really needs to process this. Makes me wanna watch ultimate alien and onmiverse over again. I’m so amazed
I wish it was never retconned cause Kevin's dad backstory was such an amazing storyline then they had to go and f it up and I think the retcon had something to do with Ben recreating the universe
I'm 22. Was 11 when the original series started. You're telling me Ben is a year, not even a year, just a few months younger than me. It's official, we need a new show, that's a little more grown up, with adult Ben dealing with adult issues. That'd be fucking boss. Think I need to start reading Five Years Later. ;)
Here's some ideas for future videos How powerful are the individual alien races How powerful are the other characters and devices like Vilgax Gwen Kevin and such How powerful is Danny Phantom
Your theory on Kevin's backstory is really interesting and it makes sense, awesome video Kuro The Artist. I hope to see more videos like this in the future :)
How can Devon be max's partner in his early days? Max looks old and has white hair. Maybe max continued plumbing after defeating vilgax and his new partner in space was Devon while Phil retired.
Doubling back through this... I noticed one small issue that was shown in Omniverse that doesn't quite line up with this. During the flashback that shows Kevin attacking Ben with the other Alagram Kids, we can actually see Max get mind-zapped by (most likely) Servantas... so it is pretty probably that the whole Kevin's Dad being Max's partner thing is a false memory like Omiverse said, but Devin could have still been a well respected plumber with Servantas making up the whole Osmos-5 not existing thing like you said. Why It took me till seeing this initially to realize that Servantas could have been lying during some of his rants, I will never know. As you pointed out, he is definitely not the best source of information.
@@thecolorblue9609 Late, sorry, never got the notification. We never see Servantas there, but we do see some lightning-like-thing zap Max in the head during the flashback, as the kids are leaving. Hence why I slipped in that "most likely" thing, as it makes the assumption he was watching from just off screen.
I just thought about something, Danny's powers are from a mutation, the omnitrix automatically try to fix mutated people (like the DNAliens) so shouldn't it accidentally "fix" Danny and/or Vlad? I know his current omnitrix is different, but it did show in omniverse the ability to fix mutations (episode 12 or 11).
In the story, it doesn't. But a short explanation- Ecto Plasma/Energy is likely from some plane similar to Ghostfreak's homeworld, which is extremely close to Danny's. With Danny being exposed to Ecto energy, it may have permanently bonded by the events of 5Years or extremely difficult to remove. The Omnitrix may not view it feasible to remove the Ecto Plasma from Danny, or it's just how Danny's DNA works, since he's bonded so well with Ecto. Short- Probably a Hybrid, genetically-wise, not a Mutant.
@@matthewwilliams8267 I'd go with this explanation too. Danny has gone Ghost a ton and has kind of 'evolved' as a Ghost whenever he develops new powers and we do see that eventually he can change appearance if he went fully enough into his Ghost side it's likely too strong of a part of him to remove by now.

Kuro the Artist as i'm a huge original Ben 10 fan after all these years... Can you tell us a backstory of what happened to Ben's hero life after the universal road trip mentioned at the very end of Omniverse? Ages from 18 to 20. I know since 18 Azmuth upgraded into its Master control function.
IDK it was just a road-trip?? Well at the age of 18, Azmuth granted Ben the Master Control (proven in 5YL) and at age 20 (one year before 5YL) something happened which caused Ben to mutilate Vilgax (referenced in Ben 10,000 episode), then 5YL happens.
Thank you so much on the Kevin stuff. I always hated the idea that Osmos V was recommend with Agreggor and all that being a thing. Actually, it's more Devin Levin that I care about than Osmos. That Rooter arc had me so confused when I watched that part of Omniverse. I guess it’s because some of the writers didn’t like what alien force (and ultimate alien) did.

Kuro, I have an idea for 5 Years Later, realistic alien transformation sequences. It could be like a mix between the original Ben 10 transformations and the ones in AF/UA. They could have the most realistic bodily changes possible. I hope you like my idea and put it in.
I personally think bellwood is in Nevada or somewhere around there because in a lot of ben 10 alien force/ultimate alien episodes we see them driving in the desert and last time I checked there is no desert in new york and bellwood seemed like a small town in the 2 series but in omniverse it was apparently updated to a giant metropolis

He was just a mutant in the original series and it would have made more sense if the writers stick to that. Just like Gwen with magic and mana. Even though in the original series Gwen has been using magic in Alien Force the new writers turn it into something else call Mana even though Gwen got those powers from spell books and it wasn't a natural ability she had.
@@Nameless82284 It was clear in the OS that Gwen had naturally powerful magical abilities, as seen when she used Hex's staff which only a master magician can use. Also, mana is basically the same as magic. And how does it "make more sense" for kevin to be a mutant? if anything it would make LESS sense, because there is no way a regular human would develop the abilitie to absorb and manipulate energy, because that just doesn't occur anywhere on earth. Meanwhile there's no way of telling how an alien race would evolve in a completely different enviroment. For all we know, absorption could be the norm on Osmos V.
@@otterwithadarkside3656 It made more sense because the writers kept on changing everything, I mean at first he was a mutant, then an alien, then a mutant again because apparently that never happened or something like that. It's possible there could be many differences like her not taking off the watch, growing into a responsible hero much earlier, and maybe not meeting Azmuth until much later. I also don't think she'd meet Kevin unless it was completely different to how Ben did. Hell maybe Azmuth gives Gwen the master control before turning 18 due to her being more responsible than Ben was.
Max couldn't have partnered with Devin in his early years because Max has red hair in the "Truth" flashback. That means he was older during the memory of Devin and him together.
It is possible that when been recreated the universe with alien acts that he basically rewrote many events of the past kind of like when Barry Allen goes back to the past to save his mother and creates Flashpoint he has unforeseeable consequences That's always just what I assumed happened.
I miss always being excited when a series finale would premier. I would always have an almost perfect attendance in school so my parents use to let me stay off to watch it because it played at 2 pm where I am. Fun days.

@@miguelbianchi968 1) What episode says that Aggregor is a clone and Ragnarok is a Rooter? Twitter? Twitter is not an episode.
2) If Aggregor is a clone, why does he have horns, something that Kevin didn't have as an old man in _Paradox?_
3) Where did Aggregor build the original machine if not Osmos V, where he stated multiple times that he built the original machine?
And if you don't consider anything the crew says, then Kevin himself said he never met his own father in AF, only heard stories about him, and even so he has a photo with his own father
2 - At the end of the Flashbacks, Servantis said that the amalgamation kids and Kevin were a failure, so he must have tried to make a modified clone, older, powerful and that doesn't go crazy and out of control when absorbing energy (since clearly the personality from Aggregor didn't change at all as he absorbed more and more energy)
3 - False memories
4 - Servantis is a genius, I don't think it's so easy to see the changes he made. Until because, Max was married (or at least had children) with an Anodite, so Servantis probably thought something like this could happen
5 - I don't think it would be difficult for them to be able to make a new hybrid in the laboratory if there really was a planet full of Osmosians.

Makes me sad that Kevin thinks his father doesn't exist now.
How can Devon be max's partner in his early days? Max looks old and has white hair. Maybe max continued plumbing after defeating vilgax and his new partner in space was Devon while Phil retired.
Also Kevin is only one year older than Ben and gwen. The age difference between max and Devon must be like between a father and son.
13KuriMaster
Wait, wasn’t servantis not there, and he only could’ve been mind zapped through servantis’ head
I also think he was lying due to him saying "hmm sharp as ever" which means he was toying with Max plus Max is old and old age can mess with your head
Not a reliable source of information?
Well that ruins my whole ass english essay lol
@@thecolorblue9609 Late, sorry, never got the notification. We never see Servantas there, but we do see some lightning-like-thing zap Max in the head during the flashback, as the kids are leaving.

@@JohnSmith-xd4eu XD What essay would you be writing that made you think to ask Servantas for help.
It doesn't have any clue what ecto energy is. No one does.
Automatically?
In addition to what the others said, it's also not an automatic process. It was the first time, but every time after, he's had to turn it on manually.
Wow!
Thank You!

Angel Milian no one knows
IDK it was just a road-trip?? Well at the age of 18, Azmuth granted Ben the Master Control (proven in 5YL) and at age 20 (one year before 5YL) something happened which caused Ben to mutilate Vilgax (referenced in Ben 10,000 episode), then 5YL happens.

I hope that in your comic if big chill is inside that he would look something similar to alien force and not omniverse
pokmeash lau
I agree, his omniverse design sucks
Not as bad as swampfire
How about a design mimicking a frostbitten corpse? I think that would be more appropriate considering his powers and habitat.
hopefully
Bigchill looks like he has a boulder for a chest
The video was marked for kids until Kuro wrote "FUCK" in the description. LEGEND!!!
lol
Oh so that's why it's spammed in the description.
I know that everything that Derrick J Wyatt says isn't necessarily canon, but he said that the original idea for the rooters arc was that aggregor was an experiment created by the rooters, trying to replicate Kevin's powers, then they gave him false memories and released him not to long before ultimate alien began, I like your theory, but I have excepted this as my head canon
What about Azmuth and Paradox referring to the Osmosians as an alien race?
Azmuth I can understand, Servantis can get him.
But PARADOX is the one that disproves it all. How would Servantis get HIM?

I was halfway into kevins backstory, when i put my phone down and left, i went to watch ben 10 for the first time in about 6 years, thanks kuro for getting me back into ben 10
For your 5 years later comic you should put a generator Rex cameo

I love your explanation of Kevin’s backstory, it’s so much better then what Omniverse tried to do

Rewatching Omniverse I now realize in Season 5 Episode 4 at 2:42 in, Rook says, "That is less than half the average annual rainfall in New York City." when going on a trip to London. NOW WHY WOULD HE COMPARE NEW YORKS RAINFALL TO LONDONS??? Theory confirmed???
Your videos are awesome! You are probably the #1 Ben 10 fan. You actually may know more about it than anyone who worked on shows.

ALSO WHERE DID YOU GET THAT JACKET
Thanks man, and fjackets.com
a pretty minor error here, if Ben's birthday is in December and the original series took place in 2006, he would have been born on Dec 27th 1995.
5 years later IS THE BEST COMIC
What if its Devin's father or mother who was the "alien" just like Gwen's grandma.
Huh, I always figured Bellwood was in California.
Hey curo one more thing
Where is aggeregor right now?
You should show this video to Derrick J. Wyatt, because your idea on Kevin's backstory makes a whole lot of sense!

Too many alien x's my mind is the blown
Ben was 5 1/2 during Sonic Adventure 2, but was 10 during...
Oh God, I feel bad for him.
If I'm not mistaken, Khyber the Huntsman also seemed to know about the Osmosians when he was taunting Ben in his ship in the episode "Of predators and preys part 2":
"First, your cousin and her Osmosian mate abandon you,[...]"
Might want to remember that for a later breakdown...
Yup, he did mention Osmosians
That means even within Omniverse they didn't plan the retcon (maybe it was never even a retcon at all and they just failed to make Servantis' bullshit more evident??)

@@KindaCringe404I learned from the Planet Ben 10 fandom that the reason Kevin was running away from his home was that his father had been abusive towards them by making his son feel emotionally unstable before Kevin’s mother met her new husband.
I never liked the idea of turning Kevin into an osmosian/alien I prefered him being just a mutant, but the retcon made things confusing as hell lol.
Which kind of means that Kevin wasn't following in his father's footsteps nor that his father was murdered and he killed someone who never killed his father. I wonder how Kevin feels that nothing mattered.
@@Nameless82284 The only time he was a mutant is when he turn into a chimera

I will give him few months and if he won't make such a thing then I will.
Awesome video man ,keep it up.
I think you are right about the Kevin thing
Whoa. Never realised I was born on the same day as Ben 10. Now I'm just getting extremely nostalgic
Can you make a video on the idea on how different things would be if Gewn got the omnitrix and Ben had mana powers
Kqazie
Gwen is more anodite than Ben because she has some anodite DNA from her mother's side too.
Actually, that would be a timeline worth exploring. Gwen is the cocky rebellious one, so she wandered off and found the Omnitrix. Ben was the one with the "spark" so he unlocked his Anodite powers. Fast forward to the OV time frame and it's Ben and Gwen who are partners.
Amit Barabi were was that said
Akhil no I was thinking with their original personalities
It's possible there could be many differences like her not taking off the watch, growing into a responsible hero much earlier, and maybe not meeting Azmuth until much later. I also don't think she'd meet Kevin unless it was completely different to how Ben did. Hell maybe Azmuth gives Gwen the master control before turning 18 due to her being more responsible than Ben was.
Your Kevin story is so much better.
No. When the first time paradox appears kevin ages up and you can see that he isn’t hiding anything in his hair
Umm, you... You're right.
Max couldn't have partnered with Devin in his early years because Max has red hair in the "Truth" flashback. That means he was older during the memory of Devin and him together.
Kuro is amazing
