    Beo ar líne/live online @ 00.00 - 1/1/2016.
An bealach a d'ardaigh an Piarsach croíthe na nGael i 1916 VS an bealach a dhéanfadh sé é dá mba 2016 a bheadh ann.
The way Pádraig Pearse raised Gaelic hearts in 1916 VS the way Seo Linn envisages he might have done had it been 2016.
Físeán ceoil le teacht! // Music video to come!
Leagan nua-aimseartha don amhrán traidisiúinta "Óró 'sé do bheatha 'bhaile", le liricí Phadraig Mac Piarais. Arna thaifead i Sonas Recording i gCill Áirne le James Darkin.
A modern version of the traditional song "Óró 'sé do bheatha 'bhaile", with lyrics by Padraig Pearse. Recorded in Sonas recordings in Kilarney by James Darkin.
    Liricí:
    Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile,
    Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile,
    Óró, sé do bheatha 'bhaile
    Anois ar theacht an tsamhraidh.
Sé do bheatha, a bhean ba léanmhar,
B'é ár gcreach thú bheith i ngéibheann,
Do dhúiche bhreá i seilbh méirleach,
Is tú díolta leis na Gallaibh.
Tá Gráinne Mhaol ag teacht thar sáile,
    Óglaigh armtha léi mar gharda,
Gaeil iad féin is ní Frainc ná Spáinnigh,
Is cuirfidh siad ruaig ar Ghallaibh.
A bhuí le Rí na bhFeart go bhfeicim,
Mura mbím beo ina dhiaidh ach seachtain,
Gráinne Mhaol 's a míle gaiscíoch.

I live in near Culloden by the battle field and not many know this song was written for the Irish Volunteers who fought alongside the Scots ( Gael iad-fhein na Franc no Spainne...) on that fateful April day against the British . We regularly pay homage to the stone that commemorates them . The Prince in his arrogance destroyed both Gaeltachd but we're still here agus tiocfhaidh/thig ar la.

I listen to See Linn’s ÓRÓ at least once a week. Life can be pretty heartbreaking and emotionally exhausting but when you're singing a song about a Gráinne Ní Mháille in Gaeilge (attempting to at any rate) at the top of your lungs with ÓRÓ jacked so loud you know you're going to blow your subwoofers (again) you feel you can make it through anything. ANYTHING.

About 10 years ago found out I was mostly of Irish decent so I began exploring my roots through music came across this song and just fell in love with it had no idea what they were saying but was totally drawn to it as well as it made myself my daughter feel so powerful for some reason it was a month of listening to it first thing in the morning and numerous times throughout the day we were so drawn to this song we had no idea the story of how this song came to be then I tripped across a comment that put the english translation and we both knew in that instant why we were so drawn to it as well as how empowering it made us feel somehow specially as women And what we are all capable of this still to this day is one of my favorite songs and I wager it will remain so to my end and I must say that singer is just amazing you can literally feel the passion coming through his voice I've listened to other versions of it more traditional sound but I must say this one is my fav the passion that comes out of his voice as well as the performance of the rest of the band is truly amazing I make everyone listen to it weather or not they like it and give them the background of the the history on this amazing piece of art music and how inspirational it truly is I COULDN'T BE PROUDER TO BE OF IRISH DECENT

How i spent my first day of the Corona Virus LOCK DOWN on St Paddy Day 2020: listening to every version of the IRISH Anthem Oro Se Do Bheatha Abhaile to rally
against aggressive invaders. Here's a question could the Virus be telling the world the ET Aliens have officially arrived and our native immune systems can't handle it? LOL Yes it screams into my soul.

I don’t know the meaning to this song but it sounds great and it’s a rocking song. The song, Spanish lady is a rocking song too but I don’t know the meaning of that song either. The Celtic women are great.

the title of the song is "welcome Home," but it is Grace O'Malley who is being welcomed home with her soldiers to get rid of the foreigners. If you don't know who grace O'malley is she is certainly worth a google. The foreigners they speak of are the British. It is very much a war song, which was used as a rally call of sorts during the Irish war for independence. If you haven't yet, give the many versions of "Mo Ghile Mear" a listen. Its a sadder song which is about the failure of Bonnie Prince Charlie during the Jacobite rebellion of 1745.
