- For my Presets visit: johnnathancordy.gumroad.com/ Here's the preset settings I used to get that singing sustain/feedback thing that Gary Moore originally did in Parisienne Walkways. At the time I first heard it, I thought it must have been the most magical Les Paul ever built, but as I've got older, I learned there are ways to achieve that kind of thing.....

Here's what's interesting to me. I click on your videos immediately. I don't even look at the title. As soon as you start playing, I can tell which vids have a Fractal in it, and which don't. I love your playing style and the percussive nature of the Fractal modelling is really evident in the way you play. In a great way. Somehow, you are able to really bring out that articulating nature of how Fractal does its thing. Very cool. Love your channel!

John I love this feedback and high gain lead tone. Incredible! Something I have been experimenting with lately is going back to trying the built in amp/cab models and not using a 3rd party IR. So far I am liking my results with the Matchless 1 with the 2x12 Match cab. I like being able to tweek the cab controls. Also the Litigator and Divide/13 are great as well for a broad range of tones from clean to lead gain.

Along the same lines for a feedback effect, have you tried out the Digitech Freqout pedal? I have one and it’s amazing. It would be nice to see if you could come up with a similar effect within Helix.

This guitar and the patch sounds outstanding. Out of curiosity, is the pickguard on this guitar a standard pickguard that's easily replaceable with others from fender or emg?

Hey Felix, I actually have no idea, it's the Vintage model, but I specifically requested this colour - not sure if they ever plan to make it available on the Vintage model, but it might not hurt to ask?

I have an old Boss DF2 Super Feedbacker and Distortion that is able to generate a Feedback tone "without" any interaction of speakers or monitors to create the feedback. Is your Feedback Preset able to do that, as I need it to work when just using headphones? Thanks

I'm sure I've asked you a dozen times but what studio monitors do you use? Also, it looks like you run your Stomp into an interface instead of USB. Do you notice a difference?
Hey Keith, still using JBL LSR305 - I don't notice any difference except I don't have to keep plugging/unplugging USBs etc and resetting DAW when I change devices - it's way more practical for me to just have a normal interface

All johns presets sound different on my Adams and on my Atomic FRFR !
Can’t get them to sound like johns - so not sure how flat response monitors are that John has ?
