Samsung Galaxy Tab A Sound Not Working-Easy Fixes

In this video, I go over what you should do if your Samsung Galaxy Tab A has sound that is not working. I outline a few simple fixes that will hopefully work for you. There is likely an easy solution to getting your Galaxy's sound to work again, it is just a matter of finding out what it is. I recommend that you follow the steps and fixes in the same order that I present them to you in the video because I go from the most common fix to the most complex and uncommon one, so hopefully the easiest fix works for you first!

This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

Thank you for the easy fixes suggested in this video. It worked like a charm. All I had to do after panicking for an hour was to restart my tablet. Yes, my audio for head phones worked just fine. But my speakers were dead silent. I always listen to my speakers when in the kitchen and listening to church sermons with other individuals. You saved the day. Thank you again and God Bless.

Thank you very much. I was having issues like static sound and delayed sound as if it was internet problem. Follow your instruction, problem with headphone but not bluetooth, restarted it and works like a charm. Also discovered where control volume is for the phone. 🙂

Hi I make music I just got the exact specs of this Tab and I noticed there is no panning or stereo (left and right) sound when using my earphones and when I try making a 3d type sound I get a fade sound. Just mutes when my sounds are completely on the left part panning.

I insert the qtip on the headphone jack and then i get it instantly then i press the volume button up then it work

My problem is that on my Tab A SM-T510 I cannot disable the shutter sound for the camera. There is no shutter option in the camera settings. I am hoping someone has a fix for this. It's not loud but it is annoying.

A lot of good easy fixes you talk a little too fast. Unfortunately that's not my issue, mine is it won't go off mute. In settings under sound mode the mute is on the sound option faded out unable to turn on.
