I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it
I was able to fix through the recovery menu. This is the first device I have accessed where I saw an option to repair apps. 1) Power off. 2) Hold Power button and Volume Up button at same time until Samsung logo is displayed then release. 3) Use volume down to go to bottom of list where "Repair Apps" is highlighted and press Power button to begin repair. 4) Display will change to spinning gears and say "Optimizing Apps" with a progress bar and percentage. 5) Once complete, tablet should continue startup or restart. 6) Now test media sound. If it works, my guess is that it is a system glitch that gets caught up in some app temp files. Good luck!

I've restarted the tablet and it doesn't help. On my phone it works fine to use the audio jack to output to my laptop, but the tablet won't do that. I don't get it.
My problem is I cannot MUTE my tablet. There are times I want to mute or have no sound out of it at all. This is not possible. Even when sliding the slider all the way you can still hear sound. And there is no speaker icon to tap on or off. Any suggestions?

Here's my problem, i found my tablet sound not working so i restarted it the sound was working then later it's stopped working again then i did the same thing worked fine again then same thing. So i left it to rest over night and then same thing happened. The only time i could hear from my tablet without restarting it is when i connected it with my Bluetooth headphones. Do you know what the problem could be?

Headphones toogle was stuck in my device so I had to clean it up with a wooden toothpick and compressed air it has some dust and then I had to download an app named "Speaker Tester & Cleaner fix" this app helped to "clean" by itself where is located the jack of 3.5mm and finally turn off and turn on your tablet and it will work again.
Problem is I cant hear you and I cant hear anything
