I personally think they shouldn’t have even included Spider-Man at all if they’ll make it exclusive AND won’t give him his own story. Just focus on other heroes like Scarlet Witch, Doctor Strange and other Avengers or .. another thought .. content in GENERAL. The gameplay is great. The story is great. The customization is great. The lack of content is the problem. Once you beat it, what’s the point of playing it ?

I read somewhere that spider-man would have actually been worthy if he was willing to kill. apparently killing the bad guys so to speak is a requirement for being "worthy"

Maybe I didn’t expect as much out of it as everyone else but I loved it mainly because I already had the other games so I can play them if i want but I played the game from 12-6 so I’m looking forward to playing more

I think Spider-Man was a little too much for them to handle, although they did ok overall. He just needs some tweaks, he is just not smooth enough. CD needs to give us a look at new content ASAP.
My only problem is the wall crawling and when when he web swings he stops mid air for like half a second and continues to swing

i like the fact that they brought spiderman into this game universe. its a cool change of pace but i feel it is definitely lacking something. I agree on the voice for spidey! Definitely not the worst spidey voice I’ve heard but it just isn’t quite right.
I swear I wasn't the only one that felt something was off..but their was a part of his voice I liked like certain dialogue that I've played so far, but something was definitely off about it.

Amazing! Unlike the Insomniac Version, this Spiderman shoots his web to Uncle Ben. Unbelievable.
If you want your progress from PS4 to ps5, you need to go back to the PS4 save data and go to save mitigation. After that, you need to delete all your progress from the ps5 version and it will ask if you want to transfer your data
That means he’ll have to replay both DLC’s on the PS five after he does all that
This just makes me want a spider man game for the switch.
The bad part about this game is the characters don’t really shine until you’ve fully leveled them up. Smh
@Jose G. I'm still at the somewhat early power levels..no more than 60 on multiple but thats about it..some of them I'm about 30. That's on the PS4 though, I am not too far into the gear on series x. We could play online, I don't play this much anymore.
And the grind is insanely long
@Jose G. Well once you reach skill level 50, all of your moves will be unlocked, but you won’t really feel powerful until you’re max power level with some ideal perks on your gear.

I personally really enjoy playing as Spider-Man but I can understand why some people don’t like his gameplay. The experience is different for everyone.
Hope it comes close to expectations for those able to play, it's a shame they excluded those who bought the game on other platforms.Yeah yeah "buy a playstation" sorry I just don't and unfortunaly miss out on some great games or DLC's and while I might not able to play the DLC I really hope it's great for those who can!

To all of you comparing the dlc to insomniac's Spider-Man that's just not a fair comparison at all... Let the marvel avengers DLC and insomniac's Spider-Man be their own separate things besides doubt any of you have actually played the DLC which is surprisingly fun
even if you dont compare it the gameplay for spiderman is just isnt it, it looks janky and it feels like spidey is heavy with the swinging and jumping, the feeling of being nimble isn't there at all

Hollow your save for the campaign wasn’t there because you have to initiate the “Save Data Transfer” from the PS4 version of the game then you can download it in the PS5 version
I decided to give this game another chance and it's actually fun to play and playing as Spider-Man in this game is awesome
He plays a lot better than I expected. The combat and design is great. Swinging and wall crawling is cool but could be tuned a bit!

@@mk-gd2pg Yes, but only when there’s nothing around for the webs to attach to. If you’re near a tree or building, it will attach to that. They had to make it this way so players can traverse through the wide open levels without much to swing from. I thought it was expected he’d either have no swinging or that he would but the webs would do this; I didn’t expect the webs to actually attach to things close by, nor did I expect wall crawling or wall running. Overall they did a good job but could just use a little tuning.

I'm glad I can watch the Spidey content here; I have the game for Xbox, and we don't get access to our favorite webslinger (which is extremely aggravating)
I imagine he didn't get a full story line in here for that reason in particular, and because there's the Spiderman games themselves
It looks like he plays well and has some interesting combat abilities that could be beneficial with the other Avengers so far.

@@ShadowHunter332 they don't own the game IP, they paid a lot of money to make spiderman exclusive game. Marvel owns his game rights and marvel is owned by Disney now. So spiderman can show up in other games, that would release on multiple platforms without Sony's approval.

Dwindling player base and they can’t not make him exclusive. Sony owns the rights to the Spider-Man IP. If Spider-Man is in a game it’s gonna be only on PS. Or licensed by Sony for that developers use.

My boy spiderman is swinging without building around him, even a ps2 game made a better swing mechanic, I know swinging is not a big portion in this game but cmon..
They also made him too bulky and heavy, he is supposed to be agile and acrobatic, his dodges are literally him ducking, it's a joke 💀

@@TheAlexgou exactly and the camera angel makes it worse,in Batman Arkham series the camera angel made you to feel how heavy and big bat suit is by keeping the camera as close as possible to the character without blocking the view. now we know how amazing rocksteady and insomniac are.
