She was there at the beginning of Punk and the start of the post punk and goth scene, the group were pioneers, at the time though you never saw it like that as after time you can look back and value it for what it was and it was fantastic.

Robert walked out on the Banshees and ditched them in the middle of a tour! Good he needed to be treated like crap.....
My father (r.i.p.) was a bus driver for most of his life. He gave me a cassette tape he'd found on the bus..i was about 11 at the time..early '80s.. this song was on it.. i was blown away. A few years later, i was a siouxsie wannabee.

I'm a Beatles fan, but I agree, this is one of the few cases where the cover is better....
It completely blows the original out of the water. No competition. The Beatles laid the foundation, but the Banshees improved upon it x1000.

If it weren’t for The Cure, Robert Smith never would’ve parted from SATB, and the band would’ve still been touring today, and made many more brilliant records from their previous LPs. Let that sink in.
