Farming the vigilants of Stendarr is a great way to gather cure disease potions, as almost all of them carry one. You can also gather a bunch when following the Companions quest line. You get a bunch of them in that dungeon where you find out they’re werewolves. The vampire stuff I knew about, but have never bothered with because being a vampire simply does not appeal to me. Killing the cheating boyfriend of the apothecary apprentice early is actually detrimental because you get a nice ring if you take out the side chick too, plus she becomes available to marry after completing that quest.
After hours and many different play throughs, I have never (and I am including my first play through) fought Potema the "correct way" I've always used bow and arrow. Ive never even looked up what happens if you don't. Wild.
It’s fun to snipe the Ritual Master in Wolfskull and instantly complete the objective, but I’ve never seen the Draugr turn on the other necromancers. And since you have to drop down to reach the fortress, the only way out of the cave is to go all the way through the fortress and across that little bridge at the end. So even if you kill the Ritual Master early, you still have to make it through the whole dungeon and all the Draugr + leftover necromancers. Other than the fun of making a long-distance shot, there’s no reason to do it.
I actually did point 8 on my first playthrough. When i found boethiah's shrine and was told to kill a friend, i was so upset at the notion that i decided that for the good of everyone, all of boethiah's followers should die. I was very surprised that the game creators actually added a dialog for that choice.
Choice 4.5: Not even going to Bleak Falls Barrow and avoiding word walls. You don't have to be the dragonborn and can roleplay however you wish. This has the benefit of dragons not spawning in and you don't have to worry about important NPCs getting killed.
Alternatively: don't go to the watch tower outside of Whiterun. Has the same effect but you can still gather all the word walls, they just don't do anything.
Number 8 can be easily done on Skyrim Anniversary Edition by sacrificing a follower from the Ghost of the Tribunal quest. They can become followers at first but you can eradicate their cult later on anyway. That way you won't have to sacrifice one of Skyrim's followers.
Necromage also makes your healing spells more powerful...very helpful especially with the respite perk which restored fatigue with healing spells as well.

7:48 yes you can kill him early, the downside is not only can you not take care of any optional objectives of the contract but the payment for said contract is underwhelming because of it
0:01 I disagree. Skyrim has poor choice options. It's either A) do the quest B) no, but eventually fine I'll do it. Here's an example. Once you escape Helgen, yeah you *could* head anywhere you want and do any missions you please, but there is no effects on the game or world for doing this. Alduin will wait indefinitely for you to get the dragon stone, give it to what's his name in Whiterun, show up at the broken tower, meet the Greybeards, go to that one crypt, meet Delphine, then go to that village near Winterhold. What if there was an option to tell the person you escape with that you're going your own way, not delivering any message to Whiterun about the dragons. What if, because of that, the Imperials sent out search parties for you, opening up additional quests? Now you're a fugitive. What if because you don't warn Whiterun, Riverwood gets burnt to the ground and you have to meet Delphine elsewhere? And when you eventually do go to Whiterun, it is under attack by the dragon who destroyed the broken tower? What if you delay even longer and Whiterun is badly damaged? What if Delphine tells you to kill Paarthurnax, and you have an option to tell her as dragonborn your authority overrules hers, the Blades serve you, and as the de facto leader of the Blades, you expel her from the Blades and get to name a new grandmaster?
Luckily, there is a mod that allows you to deny her and basically tell Boethiah to eff off. Quest is then marked as failed - but I'm ok with that. All daedric quests should have two options at the end, shame not all of them have and you need mods for that.
@@garymaidman625 That is a rather foolish statement in your first sentence. Mods can very much fix flaws with the game, be they narrative or gameplay. Moreover, some people may just want something more than what the base game can offer. Need I mention the unofficial patch mods which fix a number of nasty bugs? Need I mention the necessity of anti-crash mods for New Vegas?
@@Projectarchan it very much isn't. Again, I have never played any game using mods. People create mods out of want, not out of need. The flaws you talk about are subjective flaws. If there is a bug in a game, so be it, it's amusing and/or annoying but I'll get over it. It's a small issue in a big game that I like. My first sentence in my previous comment isn't rather foolish at all, just in your opinion, which means less to me than the bugs in a game.

Actually at higher difficulty, the ritual head won't die from a stray arrow and the ritual won't get stopped. But for anyone that sucks at archery! There is a wandering dragur (that for some reason isn't controlled by the ritual head but far enough away to not agro to anything) on the lower platform of the ritual, if you lure it to the mages on top of the tower he finishes one of the defenceless mages (for some reason the two next to the ritual head don't move even if attacked) and then has a 1v1, that the dragur should always win. Then the regular mayhem happens that everyone knows of these videos! (I too found that on accident, because I never got the angle right and started experimenting after I noticed that the dragur was up there while I overshot the target 10 times)

Wild.
I ended the ritual by throwing a fury spell into the top of the tower, and they took out the ritual leader for me.
Can also give the claw back then immediately steal it
Also you can brew your own cure disease potions with mudcrab chitin and charred skeever hide. There are also several other ingredient options for it.
Using Unrelenting Force on the giant glowing orb in Blackreach will summon a unique, named, underground dragon
1:33 laughing with stealth archer build
I actually did point 8 on my first playthrough. When i found boethiah's shrine and was told to kill a friend, i was so upset at the notion that i decided that for the good of everyone, all of boethiah's followers should die. I was very surprised that the game creators actually added a dialog for that choice.
Didnt know about the hawk feathers curing disease. Works out nicely, since they are lighter than potions.
For Sapphire, right after joining the guild, you can threaten to tell Brynjolf about what she's doing and she'll drop the debt.
@@vikkumari good to know!
@@vikkumari What if you go by accident?
@TrusteftTech I've only done that once and loaded my most recent auto save 😅
@@vikkumari thanks. The anxiety would ruin the game for me.
Im so happy there are still people playing that game and im not the only one
As of writing this comment: 2231 play Skyrim and 20875 play Skyrim Special Edition. And that's just on Steam - there's also GOG, PS4, PS5, XB1, XB Series X|S, Switch, all the fridges and toasters and calculators.... 😁😂
Still a good game as is Oblivion
There is never a need for mods. Of all the playthroughs I've had, I've never used mods and never will.
@@garymaidman625 Loser.
Why?
@@garymaidman625 That is a rather foolish statement in your first sentence. Mods can very much fix flaws with the game, be they narrative or gameplay. Moreover, some people may just want something more than what the base game can offer. Need I mention the unofficial patch mods which fix a number of nasty bugs? Need I mention the necessity of anti-crash mods for New Vegas?
@@Projectarchan it very much isn't. Again, I have never played any game using mods. People create mods out of want, not out of need. The flaws you talk about are subjective flaws. They are not game-breaking flaws. If they were, the studio would address them in patches. I played New Vegas countless times, without any mods, and the game never crashed, not once. If there is a bug in a game, so be it, it's amusing and/or annoying but I'll get over it. It's a small issue in a big game that I like. My first sentence in my previous comment isn't rather foolish at all, just in your opinion, which means less to me than the bugs in a game.
In the first one, I realised I could just fire fireballs at them, completing the quest and also eventually killing everyone else there too. Watching them get all confused and scatter again and again was hilarious
Skyrim has made a place in my heart and it will always be there.
Did you forget either a conjuror or a fire destruction mage can clear that summoning the Vampire woman quest easily in the Wolf Skull cave
I did number 1 on accident. I saw the guy as I was walking around scouting, and my first build found this spell called bound bow that was just AWESOME so my Stealth NecroMarcher kinda whoopsied some parts
Actually at higher difficulty, the ritual head won't die from a stray arrow and the ritual won't get stopped.
But for anyone that sucks at archery!
There is a wandering dragur
(that for some reason isn't controlled by the ritual head but far enough away to not agro to anything)
on the lower platform of the ritual,
if you lure it to the mages on top of the tower he finishes one of the defenceless mages
(for some reason the two next to the ritual head don't move even if attacked)
and then has a 1v1, that the dragur should always win.
Then the regular mayhem happens that everyone knows of these videos!
(I too found that on accident, because I never got the angle right and started experimenting after I noticed that the dragur was up there while I overshot the target 10 times)
>freedom of choice is Skyrim's bread and butter

“Those who want to get their hands dirty but are too cowardly to do it themselves” literally makes no sense and is a contradiction in terms… these people all want a job done but don’t want to get their hands dirty 🙄😂
I only clicked for the comments. I feel like most vids like this especially about Skyrim are really meant for someone who only played it once or twice. If you’re a Skyrim person, you’ve probably managed it in your 73 playthroughs at 40,000 hours. I see this and I think “You forgot riverwood, no one said anything about riverwood”
The wolf’s cave quest to stop the ritual was completed this way by me, just out of curiosity. “I wonder if I can hit that guy from here…” Well placed shot later… done.
With the Dragonborn DLC, when you get on good terms with Glover Mallory in Solstheim, you can actually get a rare item, the exquisite sapphire from Saphire. You have to do quests for Glover and he will allow you to enter his basement and you can pick up a note along with other good loot. Then you can give the note to Sapphire and get the exquisite sapphire which is worth 5K in gold. Its somewhat easy to miss so i thought id mention it
For those that want to fight like a werewolf, even when you're not a werewolf:
Gloves of Pugilist unarmed damage enhancement needs to be had.
Invest in Heavy Armor perk, all the way to gauntlet defense providing unarmed attack power. Enhance your gauntlets with Pugilist effect while under influence of the enhancing potion, and you can have Daedric or Dragonbone gloves that are like daggers in the hands of an assassin, having you clawing through any enemy just like a werewolf.
And, the build is tanky AF, what with heavy armor invested in.❤
Made an Orc build like this. Punching dragons to death was amazing. Had a thief walk up on me as I was absorbing it's soul. Those RNG encounters can be something else.
@@robertmorgan4546 Orc and Redguards do best with this build, and Khajit, too. Unfortunately, daedra hate Khajit, so certain rewards are not available to Khajit, when doing stuff for daedra.
@@marcusmiller5443 I was not aware of the Daedric hatered of Khajit, interesting.

4 of those "secret choices" are my default choices. The other 4, I knew about, but seldom choose to make as they have little to no utility.
another alternative for cure disease potions is garlic bread you will need a little set up to make them though you will need an oven a garlic some butter and a loaf of bread makes 2 pieces each time they not only cure disease but heal 5 hp although I have seen some of a modded anniversary edition playthrough that showed them with completely different effects not sure if it was from one of the mods or the anniversary edition itself though but they only weight 0.1 same as the feathers I used them once when I was doing the Dawnguard questline as a hunter just because I was playing as a race without resistance and I kept getting infected
Sapphire is an emotional rollercoaster. I went from despising her to her breaking my heart after I heard her story. Don't judge her too early, the girl has had a rough time.
Spare Ralis Sedaris' life in Solstheim and he will follow you later. Get the Ebony Blade from Whiterun. Take Ralis to Boethia's shrine. Kill with Ebony Blade. Or Mace of Molag Bal.
OMG! The trouble I had completing that Wolf Queen quest. If I had only known!
the draugr don't turn on the necromancers in the wolf queen quest.
Regarding number 3: If you have access to the console (like you would if you're playing on PC like a civilized person), you can use a command to unbind your hands without going through the keep.
4:47 mentioning secret dialog without actual showing it should be considered a crime against skyrim and its people
#3 sounds like a classic DD start from LL.

Ive just found out that Tova Shatter-Shield kill herself if you kill her daughter Nilsine Shatter-Shield in the Dark Brotherhood main quest... i never done Blood on the ice quest after the Mourning never comes quest, so now im felling super bad😭😭😭
Say what you will about greedy pharmaceutical companies, imagine being able to buy a potion that _instantly_ cures _all_ diseases with one dose!
In reality only the wealthy would have access.
@@maturin1919 the Dark Brotherhood is an important balancing factor
@@M_Alexander Exactly. People angry enough with greedy scum are gonna call for their death. Honestly, dunno why no one performed the Black Sacrament to have Maven killed. She's definitely the type to make enemies. Pair that with her walking around without bodyguards. She's asking to get unceremoniously stabbed. The Brotherhood's willing to assassinate literal emperors, so Maven's definitely not safe if we think logically.
didn't know where to put this as I've jus read a article claiming a player has jus discovered that you can steal briar hearts from forsworn, and it will kill them instantly, apparently this has dumbfounded players, lol the game has been out for over ten years ppl claiming they have discovered new things no u haven't,I've played skyrim for 3years 3 different consoles, and discovered these claims during my playthroughs, and even others had shared these on forums back thenI mean seriously ppl wake up and happy gaming 😊

This video is sick, and i would watch a whole series on this. My one question is, would it have been better to go to the greybeards?

Lycanthropy or Vampirism makes you inmune to all diseases.
Then why did I still get Rattles as a werewolf?

You can speed through Helgen pretty quick by jumping out of the tower the moment Alduin breaks the wall, then you can just run the rest you don't have to stop for when he lands either time. Then, just shoulder check through dialogue and run ahead every chance you get (combat time varies ofc) and you'll be out a couple min faster
If you do number 7 you'll lock yourself out of Muiri's Ring, a unique otherwise not obtainable item.

Side note about Sapphire. You don't even need to finish the Thief Guild Line, just be a Member. The dialog is different of course since you threaten to report her to the boss instead for trying to do jobs behind the guilds back.
Necromage doesn’t actually boost weapon enchantments. Only attire enchantments.
it also makes helpful spells, like Stoneskin, more effective.
Bruh, I didn't even know that there's more to it for the Potema Quest line until recently 💀

the one with Sapphire while the 2nd option doesnt give you any money, when you go to Shadr he'll give you an invis potion and you can freely use the horses from the Riften Stables
Stealth archer build beats everything at every level, unless your a noob
Cure disease - Vampire Dust and Mudcrab Chitin.
Both plentiful.
Also, there are 2 hawk feathers on the barrel outside the Alchemists Shack in the Rift.
These are not choices. Tricks or interesting facts maybe.
Necromage does tell you that. It says "more effective against undead" and vampires are undead. Just because you dont put 2 and 2 together doesn't mean the info wasn't there.
if you send in an atronach into the dawnbreaker final boss room first, it can sometimes force a double spawn of the dawnbreaker sword. always check the surrounding dais carefully first, as picking up the ensconced dawnbreaker ends the scene. I assume the final boss reacts to the atronoch, and picks out the dawnbreaker, but can't use it and drops it. doesn't always work, but when it does is great for a dual wield.
So if you go to the blacksmith in the dragon born dice you can find a letter saying he is sapphire father and you can give it to her for dialog
