"Find the Thalmor Assassin" is one of the hardest missions in the game. No, not because of the assassin but because Malborn tends to make this mission impossible to be started. He often dies in the prison fighting guards. And if he survives prison, he will throw fists with the Frost Troll in the exit of the prison. And if you don't immediately fast travel after rescuing him again he will most likely die to the first danger on the road. Talk about a guy who tries very hard to be killed.
Well - the forgotten season and a few others isn't Skyrim LE or SE but modded skyrim called AE. Maybe a good idea to announce it as AE to avoid confusion.
I do "coming of age" every playthough because you get an axe with a hybrid enchantment at the end "Fiery Soul Trap", which acts like soul trap AND fire damage, that you can disenchant, and put onto other weapons, and it counts as ONE enchantment.(There's also a word wall, which we can see in the video, so if you're grinding the shouts with Arngeir's help, you'll inevitably come across that quest, would hardly say that it's one EVERYONE missed). This video's kinda a mistitled one.
I bought the game once, on the day of its initial release in 2011. I will never buy the game again a 2nd time when I already own it. Skyrim XYZ edition is an abomination and shallow cash grab.
I recently had the opportunity to purchase Skyrim again (away from home, didn't have my XBox, so I bought it on steam). I refused to get the AE edition. If I wanted a Mod, I''ll just go get one.
AE content is awesome. Could've used a small disclaimer, though. But as someone who's been playing Skyrim for much of my life, I absolutely adore what Bethesda's done by hand-picking a bunch of the best community creations and making them officially canon.
Skyrim music is nostalgic, even I played the game for first time recently. One of the greatest thing in the game, it'd have won several Oscars if it was movie for say.
I just started Forgotten Seasons accidentally. I was playing my lvl 85 game and just playing around when I found a dwemer horse in a swamp. It’s crazy how a huge quest is just laying around to be found.
Be careful playing Forgotten Seasons. Hopefully you'll have better luck than I did last year, but that quest bugged out on me and I had to find a save from before I entered the ruins to get out of it.
I think at least half of these aren't really fair. They're creations added with the Anniversary Edition. So while they're somewhat "official", not everyone was willing to buy them before they became free, and they haven't been free or added with the Anniversary Edition Upgrade for nearly as long as other quests. It's almost like having a list of followers people probably never adventures with, then including Sophia, Recorder, and Herika, all modded followers that you need to download yourself to include.
Bro, 4 of these aren’t even hidden quests. They’re creations. With full descriptions on where to start the quests. Only 3 of these are vanilla, and the Thalmor assassin one wasn’t even hidden for majority of players who chose to save Marlborn. Darklight tower was kinda just outta the way, so most people, at least most people I know, never even heard of it. And Coming of Age is a quest most, if not, all players did. The fact the enchanted battleaxe’s enchantment is 2 in 1, counting as a single enchantment was unbelievably worth getting early. Especially for those who opted for any warrior type build utilizing magic and enchantments. So really, you only had 1 technically hidden quest.
The closing comment about Malborn finding an apartment in Vivec City is quite hilarious. If you know the lore, by the time of Skyrim's events, Vivec City is a crater full of boiling seawater.
i found that if you go back to Hrothgar and talk to Arngeir, you can ask him, "have you found any words of power"? he will then point you to a "word wall", as if it was a "miscellaneous quest". i found #2 this way. unfortunately, one place, "arcwind point", way at the south edge of the map, is glitched, that "quest" CAN NOT BE FINISHED, which means he won't help you find any more after you go there.
i've spent so much time playing the game and only discovered the quest "rise in the east" that takes you to that once icy island... it felt really weird discovering some new base game content i never had done.
The Cause is one of my favorite quests primarily because one of the rewards for invading Oblivion is the spell "Summon Daedric Horse" which lets you summon a horse with fire elemental vibes anytime you need one. No more dead/lost horses!
