PATREON: / rachelrosemitchell A little more detail on my blog: rachelrosemitch... Sorry it's been so long! Things have been rough but I'm keeping my head held high.
As some one who also suffers from depression. I know full well the battle you fight every day and how hard to can be to find the motivation to get up and do things. But im so glad you went and found help! Its always the first big step to victory. I greatly look foward to more of your music. But you and your health come first!
I didn't know until now that my favourite (and apparently even more beautiful than on her album covers) artist was ill and even in more than one way and terminally... Life is not fair... Especially recently I listened to your songs a lot and I really appreciate your work. I hope for and believe in your recovery, so stay close to your loved ones and take all the time you need. Please. We want to see you be wholeheartedly happy.
Thank you, but it's not terminal!!! I'm chronically ill, meaning it's a long term, all the time kind of thing. I'm not going to die from it hahaha. But nevertheless I appreciate the sentiment :)
@@RachelRoseMitchell oh. Thank god I got THAT wrong! xD I wish you all the best and - even if I maybe not fully understand your situation / how you feel - want you to know that you are precious to many people (or so I believe) and we support you! :)
Sending you loads of spoons. Remember you and your health come first. You and your music bring so much joy into the world and it's definitely better for everyone but especially you that you take your time and feel well enough to create rather than push and hurt yourself to do so. I hope your health takes a turn for the better soon, until then, take care of yourself, you are an incredible person and deserve to feel, well, not like shit, which i know CFS likes to do.
As someone who has mental illnesses, I know they aren't an easy thing to deal with. Just keep doing what helps you feel better, mentally and physically. We can wait until you feel up to it.
I definitely understand what you’re going through. If you ever need a pen pal or someone younger who understands feel free to contact me! Stay strong. Hopefully we can duet. Keep up the good work and take care of yourself.
It´s amazing how many exceptional artists suffer all their life. People say that the brightest candles burn out the fastest, but the truth is that if you´re content with a mediocre life, then chances are that you´ll never do anything noteworthy. If nothing is ever good enough, then it´s a drive to constantly push the limits and many burn out well before they actually achieve anything noteworthy, but a few ?lucky? ones manage to succeed, but that will never fill the hole in their heart. I´ve seen it with artists but also scientists. People may look up to them in awe, but their lives suck.
Your health is way more important anyway. Of course we're all still looking forward to more of your music coming out, but we'd rather have to wait and know that you're getting the help you need than you being really down and feeling rushed all the time. Take care of yourself! We love you, and will always be here if you need anything! ❤
3 weeks that I was speechless since I've watched this video Mixed of emotions that I have between how glad I am to be able to see how my number one singer of all times look like, and that knowing that her health got worsen; i know how it feel to be in sever depression, still in my case I used kind of a spiritual therapy, but still, each health case is independent, deeply I believe that the depression is not the disease but the symptom, in order to get red of it, you need to get red of the source I hope that you will have a fast recovery 🙏 the one who is inspiration for my lyrics
I wish you better health. Your list of metal diagnosis sounds very similar to mine, so the only thing I want to add to your advice is that if the first, or second, or third, medication and/or psychologist doesn't work, just try another one, and another one, and another one... Because eventually something will work, and make a huge difference, even if it takes years to find. (Speaking from personal experience on this one.) PS And I can second that creative output increases a lot when you don't have to struggle through depression to write anything down.
It's good to hear from you! I'm so glad to hear that you've been able to get some meds to help with your depression and anxiety. One sort of goes numb to how much those mental illnesses can hold you back until you have a taste of what not struggling with them feels like. I didn't know you had a Patreon!~ I'll have to go take a look.

Hello, I recently discovered your music and I had been all week listening to your songs non stop. You are amazing. I just watched this video now and I was surprised. I also have a chronic illness that has a bit of chronic fatigue as a side effect so I can understand how hard it must be (probs not all-all, but it fucking sucks). Im happy more people share their experiences about it and are open because honestly i think it really helps. Im glad pills are working for you and you are better!! You have me as a new fan, I hope you take care and do as you can ;_;
I hope you get better and keep enjoying making music, I love the music you've made, especially voidfish(plural), but put your health over your channel, good luck!
mental healthcare is very dangerous in a lot of the world. it'd be nice if people could get drugs risk-free, but in most of the world, seeking help might also just result in...getting tortured to death in a psych ward. so...be really careful when considering getting involved. know your country/state/province's laws. don't go in blindly. i'm relieved to hear you've had a positive experience and received quality care, you're an awesome artist. but be careful about broad advocacy like that. seeking a bit of support can quickly become a living nightmare, and does for a LOT of people.
Please don't feel rushed. Your health is more important. Plus, any music you create is definitely worth the wait!
Agreed
I'm glad you're doing better and getting the help you need; hang in there. ❤
Your health’s more important, take all the time you need, your fans can wait longer. ❤️
Happy to hear from you. Take care of yourself and keep on keeping on! :)
