    This is the most sense I have heard anyone make in a loooooooong time. Being around other people literally makes me feel like I’m the only sober one at a party full of drunks, no one understands me or what I’m saying and I don’t understand anyone else. I feel ya on every level. Thank you for making this video and making me realize that I’m not the only one who feels like this. It’s easy to feel alone in this world.

    It’s your birth right to live how you want. Do people actually think God put us all here to pay bills, taxes to a system and die? Everything from school, jobs to jail was created to keep you controlled and placed into a system. That’s why they call it the rat race. We’re trained to be hamsters in a wheel and slaves to corporate America. We’re told we have to work 40+ hours a week to survive, which then gives little to no time to invest in ourselves or discover our true gifts and talents. We’re too busy just trying to survive and keep up with life’s constant responsibilities. Then they bombard us with credit card debt, student loan debt, mortgage debt, taxes, fees, and insurance just to keep you slaving away in the name of capitalism. It’s all designed to keep you trapped and stuck. Not to mention they raise the cost of living on you every year further squeezing the life out of you forcing you to working harder. Shit is crazy. That’s why you have to keep God first and pray for wisdom, strength and guidance. Work if you have to, but be smart and strategic about it. Save what you can and invest in yourself and your goals. Whatever that may be. Make it where jobs are only a pit stop for you. Not a destination. Find yourself. Discover who you are and what you want out of life. And then go after it relentlessly. Also keep in mind that jobs are different from careers. Careers are usually what people enjoy doing. It resonates with them and uses their unique gifts, talents and skills. It also gives people a sense of purpose. Like they’re making real a contribution to the world. Jobs are just jobs. A means to an end. Just Over Broke. JOB. They rarely make you feel fulfilled or content. Some of us are artists, entrepreneurs, self employed business owners and creatives. Whoever you are or are striving to be is up to you. But half the battle is knowing that you’re weren’t put here to slave away at a mindless job for the rest of your life. Good luck on your journey bro.

    The worst part of that is actually having someone above you who is commanding you every day and if you don’t do something properly, you get fired. So you live with the fear that at any moment you could be fired just because you didn’t follow someone’s command. Its just slavery, it’s horrible
    And you can’t yell back at your boss so you constantly live with that fear. You just have to shut your mouth and can’t do anything about people above you in that company you work for

    The older I get the more I realise that it’s best to do things that you’re naturally inclined at or love, have a passion for. This makes life enjoyable and you have to bare in mind that we will be working for majority of our lives, might as well enjoy it and do the things you like. Once you do this being a harder worker, be consistent and showing up everyday is easy!

    If something is so terrible that death seems like a more preferable option, it's just not worth it. Everything you said in this video is, and has been my mentality for my entire life, I don't give a fuck if other people think that this is all that life has to offer, it can be a million times better. People keep asking me, what job I'd like to do, and my answer is "no job", I don't want to work, I don't want to spend my time, the time of the one life I have on this planet on something I hate doing. I never understood how anyone can be okay with this. I want to explore nature, work on my hobbies, and enjoy all life has to offer. Not work. Work is pain, work is misery, work is not fun. I'll try to find something I actually enjoy doing, and incorporate it into a career. I'll be proud even if I fail. 'Least I tried.

    I've been so depressed in the past thinking about all the people who are "free" when I wasn't. I've worked a few corporate 9-5 jobs. I worked as an Amazon driver. I worked in a pharmacy. I worked in a call center. I worked in sales. I worked in marketing. I worked in real estate....etc. The blue collar jobs I had made me feel more free (got to be outside all day with nature and people). However, the blue collar jobs left me exhausted after the 10-12 hour shifts required. I've tried everything to be "free." I tried doing UA-cam but felt too uncomfortable on camera and I hated it. I'm too private to make content online. I literally feel like I've tried EVERYTHING at this point. Btw, I'm not even 30 yet. I've been through all of this in my 20's still. Each day feels exactly the same until you start to feel dead inside.

The real economy does not care if you feel like your called to a higher purpose, or if you don't like to work. The real economy requires cash to pay bills and sustain yourself and then anything outside of that is a luxury. At 37 I have enough life experience to know that you just don't quit jobs. The working life, however, is really inhumane and is still oriented towards 1945. Although we produce almost 4 times more, we do not work 4 times less or earn 4 times more. Rather the opposite is the case. It needs a new concept, a shorter working time (4 hours a day, for example, whereby a retired person can come back), a basic income for the subsistence minimum, which sticks to people. We have never been as rich as we are today! And at the same time, we live as if we were poor.

Most jobs you will not like or hate, even if the money and / or the job itself are good, your negative emotions will make it difficult to slog through. What i can day is try and find positive things to focus on, stack your money and while you do that, try and find something that is closer to who you are and gels with your values.

    I used to think this was just how a small minority of people actually feel, but it's starting to become more and more apparent that it actually might be a generational thing with those younger than age 30 or 35. I'm 27 and have always felt this way since my very first job. And i think despite what everyone will tell you, it's not because we're lazy or we just don't care. We do have motivation to do things, we do have passion for things - we just don't have a passion for getting paid a shit wage, at a shit job - with management that won't bother to train you, but will bother to let you whenever you've fucked something up.
    So no, it's not because we're lazy. It's because we realize we do not need to needlessly suffer through a 9-5 at the expense of our own mental health and overall happiness. It's just not worth it. And the older people who will tell you "it's just life" or "suck it up, i went through it. everyone hates their job"
    No. It doesn't HAVE to be that way, It's just the way your generation dealt with it, and it's not exactly a healthy way to live life either, under the assumption that every day is gonna suck balls because your going to work. I'm 100% with you - i don't care what i have to do to avoid a 9-5 but im opting out of it. I'm not going to live my life paycheck to paycheck AND be miserable for a company who will get rid of me at a moments notice.

      I hope you have a strong mental capacity for the loads of stress that will become apart of the job. I worked in healthcare and it was draining expect to work 12-16 hour workdays and time spent away from your significant other and children and the gossiping fake loving back stabbing coworkers and patients that treat you like garbage. The money will be good till it’s starts taking a mental toll on your health where it will decline as you further into your career. Time and health is valuable to us which should a a first priority but if your ready to make that sacrifice then best wish of luck to you!

Next year when my residency is over i can make over 6figs damn near guaranteed. After that or whenever i feel comfortable enough in my skill set i can travel and make 2.5k-4k weekly. If that’s not enough i can look for opportunities in California and get a roommate. There’s always a way to make your time worthwhile.

    People have the freedom to choose what they want to do but every choice comes with consequences. people work to have money mostly. Some people work part-time instead of 9-5, some people run businesses, some people live off their parents or partners, some people are long-term students, some turn to a life of crime, become entrepreneurs. Nobody tells anyone that they HAVE to work a 9-5 job. It's your choice and your life.

    Well kid, yes, if you are at a job and you leave without telling them you leave, then you are like a small child. You should have the courage to go to them and just tell them "I quit".
    The manager writing you e-mails asking where you were was fully 100% in his right.
    Also, you want autonomy and you don't want to think about money? That is 100% fine. Autonomy under a bridge is also a life choice.
    As long as you don't run to daddy for money.
    And I am not calling you a kid because of your age, but because of how you act.

    • @luetnt
      @luetnt 14 днів тому +4

      First off he doesn’t act like a small child. Since when do small children work? Telling them I quit is the same out come… Termination. Running to daddy for money is definitely ok. It’s called support and help in tough times. Let’s be positive and send positivity to the young man going through it. Just because someone doesn’t have a job doesn’t mean they’re automatically gonna be homeless.

    • @czolgistta
      @czolgistta 7 днів тому +2

      @@luetnt see, here is the problem nowadays: people justify what cannot be justified. There is something like being responsible and also being fair, even if others are not. And also not relying on the parents for our life choices, in that case the choice being not working.
      You encourage him to do things like a small child while I am against it. Thereare already too many like him.
      And that is true, you don't have to live under a bridge if you don't have money. A bench in the park is also an option.
