- a taste of the cross freshman dorms at the university of oklahoma in norman! this is our 4 bedroom and 2 bath suite, and we absolutely love it! hopefully this video can provide inspiration on how to maximize the space and help get a feel of the layout if you’re joining OU soon!

Congratulations on being at OU. And thank you for a very well done and informative video. Probably the most useful dorm video for Cross. Everyone has different styles. But your video did the best job I've seen on providing context on the amount of spacing and the possibilities for room arrangements for the 4 bed/2 bath Cross dorms. Any ideas on whether students are allowed to wall mount TVs at Cross? I've seen some OU dorm videos that show wall mounted TVs. I understand each dorm building and possibly dorm managers may have different rules.
i’m not sure about the tvs! we personally didn’t because it may be a pain to remove during move out!
How did you attach your headboard to the existing bed frame? Did you take the dorm headboard off or attach the new headboard to it.

the led sign was actually a hand me down gift for my roomate so i'm not quite sure! and we made the door pennants ourselves with felt!

Where did you get the jewelry box mirror? And what size is your TV table in your room that fits perfectly with the bed? Did you swap out the mattress or just use mattress toppers?
the mirror/jewelry holder is off amazon as well as the tv console!! the one i have is 11.75"D x 39.5"W x 31.5"H. i just added mattress toppers to the original mattress, it’s much harder to replace it because you’re responsible for the original one and can’t just give it back to the university if you don’t want to use it!
are there pets allowed in dorms like these? also how did you find your roomates? i might be going to OU next year and was wondering :)
it depends on the pet!! small animals in tanks are allowed, as well as certain service animals! you have to get all animals approved by the housing facility :) as for roommates, i was super lucky and ended up rooming with 3 of my friends from high school! i know so many people that found great roommates though through instagram and just reaching out to other people online!!
Where did you get the purple bling picture frames in your room
my mom actually added the bling using decorative tape to regular white frames from target!!
