Currently living in Residential Colleges. Could be better, could be worse, price is the worst part by far. The "community" doesn't really exist, honestly and no one eats there. My number one wish is that I could cook here.
I really like your video, good job! However this video doesn't even mention that the residential colleges were privately funded (like 90% sure on that) and have no reason to be priced so much higher than the dorms.
Nope. Approximately $10 million was in donated money from Headington and Dunham, another $10 million was paid by OU H&F upfront, and the other $80 million is paid for by H&F revenue bonds. Source: newsok.com/university-of-oklahoma-opens-residence-halls-for-upperclassmen/article/5562726
Hey man, great video! I also go to OU, and was wondering if you wanted to work on a collab vid? (This is super awkward considering that I have never met you IRL, but you seem to have a similar viewpoint) Anyways, I can tell your editing is on point, fantastic tear down of the rip off that is the residential colleges.
I am filling out the housing application too, did you figure out what is the best option ? Is it a suitable option to stay on campus or off campus for an international student ( PhD studies ) ?
@@guezeiabdelali8547 honestly I think I'll stay on campus anyway. Makes things much easier and as long as it's got a bed, four corners and a roof. As for the part about international students, I'd say the same, live on campus since it'll make everything easier
this video is so high quality for such a small viewer base damn well done. looks like it was made by a hundred thousand+ sub youtuber
Fantastic video, man! You really hit the nail on the head. Keep up the awesome videos!

Are there a lot of people clamoring to get out at the end of the semester?
God bless you for making this video, helped me choose
Dope video dude
Is this still the case? I'm starting in the fall and will most likely be in the residential colleges for honors housing
I saw that Demolition D reference. Don't think I didn't.
THIS IS HILARIOUS!!
I LOVE this!! I too am a peasant..What idiot gave it a thumbs down? Please make more on campus reveals...
When you go to college to learn how to roast it. 😂

I hope the residential colleges aren't in "Peril"
Ok so if I lived at OU where is the best I should?
i don't think any medium-low income family have a OU meal plan, you go buy necessities for yourself
Thank you based OUtuber
When I went there, upperclassmen didn't live on campus. Is this actually causing people to stay living in the dorms?
i have mountain dew rn i’m
this is funny asf omg
Is there a residential college for national merit scholars? I guess technically that's what the honors house is, but it's old.
Come back
A+
Glad you like them, lol.

Can we be friends? You get me like no other
Damn. Actually went here because I'm filling out the housing application right now. If residential colleges are ass, where should I live?
