This movie was made before the volumes were finished so they had to fuse a ton of stuff together.

Bad timing was a factor and frankly it wasn't marketed right at all. Glad to see it's got a following now and became a hit on home media afterwards.

Compared to the other fights this was dynamic as fuck, well made, and free flowing. Matrix level standards.
Mae Whitman is a dancer and Mary Elizabeth Winstead is a gymnast, so Edgar Wright took advantage of their skills to show them off.

@@Vitrous "Bi-curious" is a term that some people use when they're trying to figure out their sexual orientation. (It's a play on "bisexual," meaning interested in both women and men) In this case, Ramona is saying that she's into men, but she pursued a woman once because she was curious to know what it's like. Roxy is mad at her for being so dismissive of their relationship which leads to the "bi-furious" pun. Does that answer your question?
Out of all the evil exes, I always felt bad for Roxie. While all others come off as assholes with a wounded pride, Roxie comes off as really hurt by Ramona.
Maybe it's the "it was just a phase" thing. Like, wow, what an awful thing to say.
Yea she and matthew patel looked really angry and hurt, the rest of the exes all were like "oh well, i gotta fight this guy right now cuz you know, im an ex, brb"
she pretty much treated every Evil Ex like waste, I think only Lucas Lee and Gideon got off easy. The rest were dumped the minute something better came along.
I KNOW RIGHT. Ramona straight up said it meant nothing, and she didn’t think it would count too. You don’t get in a relationship with someone if you want to experiment. Even if she did, the least she could’ve done is tell Roxie her intentions, tell her she wasn’t certain and she was was figuring things out. Just because you guys are both girls doesn’t mean you should forget about human decency. You could’ve figured out your sexuality without hurting her.

Having read the comics I now think he was the worst possible choice -- he's a totally different character to how he comes across in the movies. In the movies he is a self-absorbed twat. But in the comics, he's relatable don't get me wrong but he is also kind of a massive asshole himself... Ramona's freak out that he's just another evil-ex waiting to happen is a LOT more justified with comic-Scott compared to movie-Scott.

A detail I find hilarious is that Knives doesn’t flinch when Ramona deflects one of Roxy’s attacks into the crowd but the crowd does because she herself is a fighter too and her reflexes didn’t need to kick in

Can we acknowledge the little details of the shards from the disco ball being individual mirrors and Scott being in the middle of this specific encounter. And the fact that Ramona being the one to start the fightback causes the VS logo to turn purple rather than the usual blue whenever Scott would initiate the fightback.

This movie managed to make every secondary character and/or villain iconic. Even if we only see a handful of minutes of them, i feel like I perfectly know the characters and I could imagine them in other scenarios... Really impressive work.

The whole 10 seconds bi furious line is a master class of filmmaking … the timing and the buildup … the bars appearing top and bottom so that Ramona hand looks as if it come out of the movie… it’s just next level… ( rember edger wright wasn’t allowed to do antman …. Let that sink in)
While I genuinally enjoyed the first "Ant-Man," it felt like Aaron Cross was just put there to be the bad guy when Hank Pym including his connection to Ultron (which we get dust of in Age Of Ultron despite how close both movies came out=why share a universe then?). It would've been way more interesting if Edgar Wright's vision was made, guy really had good ideas and cared about the characters to do them full justice that the sequels fail miserably at.

The problem with Ramona is she runs away instead being honest with each of her exes and giving them closure she fucks off. What Neflix did was amazing they gave her route were she gave all her exes closure and Ramona actually went to find Scott. Scott in other hand needs to quit leeching off of everyone. My girl Knives became her own woman really proud of her. As for the exes thier doing thier own thing and supporting one another.
Exactly that's why I like that the anime gives a different perspective and a different route for them to take on not only to bring closure to Ramona's problem but also Scott's as well.
